Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a wedding photographer for the wildly in love, the offbeat romantics, and the couples who value a good laugh as much as a good love story. My style? Vibrant, true-to-color images that feel as timeless as your favorite song and as honest as your vows. I edit with intention – keeping skin tones real, colors rich, and moments full of life.

Awarded Best of Zola
I worked with Thistle & Dagger a little while ago on a fantasy elf shoot. Emily is did a fantastic job making me feel confident in my skin, especially because I was nervous as it was something I hadn’t done before. There were a lot of laughs and a lot of jokes. She literally made this entire shoot a fun, confident-inducing shoot. I plan to do more with her in the future.

I am SO excited that you stumbled upon my work! I shoot weddings all across Florida & New England! Capturing raw, true emotions as they happen is what I’m all about. I want to capture it all on your big day. From the moments of you putting your dress to the tears running down your face as you read your vows to each other. To the first kiss and “OMG you’re my spouse now!!” feels. To the unexpected Taco Bell run you make after the ceremony or your grandparents getting down on the dance floor. Being able to grab the moments for you to hold to forever, is such a rewarding humbling job for me.

Communicating with Gloria was amazing, she was quick to respond & so easy to talk to. We got a sneak peak of about 30 images the day after our wedding & I'm obsessed! She helped us to relax & led us with posing & made us feel less nervous & awkward. Gloria was so amazing & so easy to work with. Every picture we got was better than the last.

I knew I wanted good photos but I had no idea they would be THIS good. Every time I look at them I notice something new, like a hidden laugh or a sweet hug I missed in the moment. My favorite shot is my husband brushing a tear from my cheek, I didn’t even know they caught that. The colors are rich but not overdone, just natural and beautiful. The video is absolutely stunning too, it’s like reliving the entire day from start to finish. My mom cried watching it and said it felt like she was back at the wedding. They even got the little kids running around, which makes it extra special. The speeches, the vows, the dancing – all of it is there. I didn’t feel staged once, just comfortable and happy. That’s rare for me because I usually hate photos. These are treasures that I’ll hold on to forever. Worth every second of working with them.

I'd say my photography style would be something along the lines of "lifestyle photography". [That means that posing you in silly ways that seem fake / awkward isn't really my jam.] I mean, unless that gets some snuggles & laughs. I'm ALLLL about that. I like to capture REAL life with REAL emotions and REAL smiles. Your session should be relaxed and fun. [All while I get some kick-ass photos!] I will most likely make a giant fool of myself at your session, so you'll feel like a professional. I sing, trip, laugh, make noises, mention inappropriate things, show my nerdiness. AKA YOU'RE GOING TO DO JUST FINE.

Hiring April and Jordan as our wedding photographers was one of the best decisions we made for our entire celebration. From the very beginning, April communicated with such care and consistency—checking in, asking thoughtful questions, and making sure every single wish we had was understood and honored. I always felt supported, heard, and genuinely excited after every conversation. When our wedding day arrived—the greatest day of my life—I truly believe their charisma, warmth, and attention to detail played a huge role in making it feel so magical. They brought the perfect balance of fun and structure, and our families still talk about how incredible they were to work with. It felt like having two close friends guiding us through the day, cheering us on, and capturing every moment with intention. And the photos… wow. April sent us a sneak preview within 24 hours, and my jaw was on the floor. Every image was stunning—full of emotion, beauty, and authenticity. Our full album arrived so quickly, and we loved *every single picture*. Their talent is undeniable, but it’s their heart and presence that make them truly exceptional. April and Jordan are now officially part of our family. They will be at every major life event from here on out, and we can’t wait to have them by our side to help us remember all the special moments still to come. If you’re considering them—don’t hesitate. They are an absolute must.

Julie K. Gray Photography

Saco, ME

Hi, I’m Julie! I’ve been photographing weddings for about ten years now (holy cow, do I feel old!), starting with photographing friends' weddings and quickly falling in love with the work. While I adore capturing gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom and the quiet (and sometimes chaotic!), beautiful moments during a wedding/elopement/engagement session, those ridiculous candid moments (like when a stranger offers you a fry on the boardwalk during your bridesmaid photos) truly make your day uniquely yours. I'd absolutely describe my style as a mixture of classic, artistic and photojournalism, but my heart lies in capturing candid moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer than Julie! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. She was so responsive and easy to communicate with during the planning process, and on the big day she went above and beyond to make sure we got every shot that mattered to us. Julie seamlessly traveled with us to multiple locations throughout the day, capturing everything beautifully while keeping the energy fun and stress-free. One of the biggest highlights was how quickly she delivered our photos—our full gallery was edited and ready before our honeymoon was even over! The images are stunning, and we’ll cherish them forever. Julie has such an amazing eye for detail and a gift for capturing genuine, natural moments. We are beyond grateful to have had her as our photographer and can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for someone talented, professional, and truly dedicated to making your day unforgettable.

Capture the North was founded by multi-award-winning, and published photographer Sarah K. Marshall, and her husband, Christopher Marshall. Both are Marine Corps veterans and native New Englanders. Despite traveling across the world while serving in the Marine Corps, there is still something so magical about the New England area for them. Sarah was named Department of Defense Military Photographer of the Year 2020, and Marine Corps Photographer of the Year 2020 + 2021. Her work has been displayed in the National Museum of the Marine Corps and her imagery was the cover art of Leatherneck Magazine.

Sarah is an amazing photographer. I looked at probably a dozen other photographers for our wedding, but my fiancé and I were both super impressed with Sarah’s work and affordability. We recently had our engagement photos done and I was an anxious mess since I don’t normally wear make up or have my photos taken. However, I’m OBSESSED with how the photos came out. I feel so pretty looking at them and they truly represent our love and goofy relationship. Cannot wait to see the photos from our wedding next year.

Dan has been doing the website photos for Authentically You Counseling for the past few years. Although it’s not a wedding - I can speak to his character and work. Dan brings his sense of humor to his professional work to make everyone feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We are a fun bunch and he took advantage of that - offering some fun shots along with the professional ones. He was able to capture the personalities of those he photographed. For Dan, photography is more than it seems - it is the art of capturing moments, not poses - of capturing the beauty around him.

I’ve been making pictures since I was 12. My parents gave me an ancient 35mm Konica Autoreflex camera, told me to get after it, and the rest, as they say, is history. My role as a photographer is to capture the rare, vulnerable, epic, extraordinary, and wonderfully ordinary moments of life, as well as the beautiful details in between. I strive to make images that come from the heart and will tell your story for years to come. Also, I might cry at your wedding. It happens.

Jo was communicative, gave us great tips for the day, and brought such a joy, lightness and ease to the day that made everything even better. She took unbelievable photos and connected so well with everyone, and we even had people come up to us later saying that they loved our photographer and had so much fun with her. We’re lucky enough to witness countless beautiful moments that leave us in awe. From the quiet glances to the laughter-filled celebrations, we aim to capture it all with a sense of ease that reflects the genuine connections between you and your loved ones.

I had an absolutely incredible experience working with Sarah and her team for my proposal photos. From start to finish, she was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely responsive, which immediately gave me confidence, and her work more than lived up to it. I proposed to my fiancée in the Boston Public Garden in November, a very popular spot. Several photographers told me they wouldn’t shoot there because of the crowds, but Sarah didn’t hesitate. Not only was she willing, she and her team arrived an hour early to secure a prime location and make sure everything went smoothly. She also went above and beyond with logistics and planning. She helped me map out exactly where to stand and how the moment would unfold, and even coordinated with my friends in advance so they could bring a bag of clothes for us to change into after the proposal. Thanks to her preparation, it was incredibly easy to spot her and her team in the park, and everything felt seamless. The photos came out amazing, truly better than we could have hoped for, and she delivered them promptly. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. If you’re looking for a photographer who is talented, accommodating, and genuinely committed to capturing your moment perfectly, Sarah is the one.

We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer for our September 27, 2025 wedding. Elizabeth captured our autumn wedding perfectly. From the colors of the nature around us to the laid-back rustic vibes to all the little special moments we didn’t even realize were happening. It is so true what people say when they tell you that your wedding day is a whirlwind and you are pulled in so many directions. It is hard to retain all the memories yourselves, so having a professional photographer is so important. It is absolutely incredible just how much she was able to capture as one person. On top of that, she went way above and beyond by helping us set up décor and just jumping in wherever she was needed. She was also such a calming presence on the day, and helped keep everything feeling relaxed and fun. For me as a woman with some self-esteem challenges, she captured the things I love about myself and made me appreciate things I may have not loved as much before. I feel like I am more confident as a result which is such a huge gift. TLDR: Elizabeth is incredibly talented, kind, and truly cares about her couples. She definitely found her calling as a wedding photographer. We’re so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

I am so glad we went with Adrien as our wedding photographer. I love our photos so much. He was easy to work with and made us feel comfortable and confident having our photos taken. He is kind and professional, but also fun. Our bridal party also said he was great to be around. Our photos are truly stunning to me. We have received so many compliments as well. Including some saying they wished they knew about Adrien for their past weddings. I could not be happier with our pictures and I can’t wait to display them in our home. I highly recommend choosing Adrien as your wedding photographer!
