“We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than City Winery Hudson Valley! We chose the intimate package for our wedding and got married on 10.12.2024. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the place where we wanted to celebrate our special day. The breathtaking views and stunning industrial architecture provided the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and reception, creating a magical atmosphere that our guests are still raving about! I have to be honest, it did not start off with the best communication from the original person in charge of my wedding at the venue. I’m not sure if she didn’t know what she was doing or just didn’t care. Thankfully it was transferred into someone else’s care. Once Colleen and Kim took over the communication and planning, the staff at City Winery Hudson Valley were nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the final send-off. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail from these two women and their team made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We truly felt like royalty on our special day! The reception space was elegantly decorated, with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. Our guests loved the unique layout and how everything felt both intimate and grand at the same time. Moreover, the catering provided by City Winery Hudson Valley was phenomenal! Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food and impeccable service. The menu options were diverse and customizable, allowing us to create a dining experience that perfectly reflected our tastes. Finally, the location itself is a hidden gem. The picturesque surroundings allowed for stunning photo opportunities, and we were able to capture memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re searching for a wedding venue that combines beauty, elegance, and unparalleled service, look no further than City Winery Hudson Valley. We are so grateful for the incredible memories we created there and wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking to tie the knot!”

“The Garrison itself is absolutely stunning - even more beautiful in person - and the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. Our guests are still raving about the food, and the entire space came together perfectly for both the ceremony and reception. What really made the day seamless, though, was the team that supported us. Annie, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute godsend. We were juggling unpredictable weather, miscommunications, and a whole lot of last-minute uncertainty, and she handled it all with such calm, measured grace. She kept things on track and gave us the gift of peace of mind - we truly couldn’t have done it without her. Fatima, my bridal assistant, was my right hand from the moment I arrived. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask - always three steps ahead, always composed, always kind. I felt fully taken care of, which is exactly what every bride hopes for. We’re so grateful to the entire team - thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and so easy to enjoy.”

“Mountainville made our wedding absolutely AMAZING! Lauren, James, and their team were incredible from start to finish - always so helpful, organized, knew what they were doing, filled in our gaps, and just made the whole thing so easy. We didn't hire a wedding planner, and it was totally doable to plan our wedding ourselves with Lauren on our team acting as Day-of-Coordinator. Their packages were great and SUCH a good deal for what we got. We received numerous comments stating that our wedding was great (some even called it the "best wedding ever!"), and Mountainville is definitely the reason why - the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the staff was attentive and helpful throughout the night, and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Not to mention that the food was absolutely amazing, and there was plenty of it! I wholeheartedly recommend Mountainville Manor to any couple planning their wedding!”

“Choosing to have our wedding at Camp Timber Lake was probably the single most important decision we made during the planning process. The camp setting gave us the opportunity to create something far more immersive, personal, and joyful than we had imagined, and the camp / Gatheround staff and everyone involved in the planning process gave us the ability to execute on making all our dreams come true! In the months leading up to the wedding, we worked closely with Will, who was incredibly friendly, responsive, and on top of every detail. He always made time to talk through our many questions and helped accommodate some of our more unconventional requests—from having Camp Timber Lake cater our Sunday reception dinner (which we highly recommend!) to brainstorming the best locations for a nighttime game of kick the can. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful and was perfectly manicured for our arrival. There were endless activities for our guests to enjoy, and the staff placed sports equipment throughout the property so everyone could immediately jump into whatever interested them. Our guests had so much fun exploring the grounds, tossing frisbees and footballs, shooting hoops, and making the camp their own for the weekend. The staff including Reggie, Scott, Liz, Willow, Marcie, and so many others, were AMAZING. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special. Scott and Liz stayed on top of every detail, and the entire team continually went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and cared for. When one of our guests lost her phone in the dining hall after hours, the team turned the lights back on and helped her search for it. After she mentioned that she was having trouble turning on the heat in her cabin, they walked over to help, then returned 15 minutes later with brownies and ice cream for her and her cabin-mates as a nice surprise. Another favorite moment happened on the dance floor Saturday night. We had brought bubble guns but realized too late that they required batteries we didn’t have. We’d given up on using them, but when Willow (one of the camp staff) overheard a friend say, “I wish we had batteries for these bubble guns.” he went and tracked down batteries from TV remotes around the camp on his own accord and got the bubble guns working. They ended up being a huge hit! Moments like these, and so many others, made us feel completely at home and made our guests feel incredibly well cared for. The food was also outstanding. We received rave reviews about every meal. The team went out of its way to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, providing hearty vegan and vegetarian options at every meal. They even prepared a special plate every meal for my mom, who has an autoimmune disorder that prevents her from eating most spices. The team also decorated dishes with edible flowers and made everything look beautiful. For our reception dinner on the final night, they even came up with the idea of displaying leftover Boy Scout patches from one of our weekend activities along the buffet counter. It was the perfect thoughtful touch. We had multiple guests tell us that this was their favorite wedding they had ever attended, and Camp Timber Lake (and the wonderful people who run it) were a huge reason why. Thank you for giving us and our guests such a magical, joyful, and unforgettable weekend. It truly was the best weekend of our lives! Can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!”

“My wife and I met and got engaged in the Catskill Mountains, so it was so important to us that we also got married there. We found Spillian from an online search, and my wife was instantly drawn to the place; I was skeptical. But after touring it for the first time and meeting the owners - Mark and Leigh - it was apparent this was the only place we would want to get married. At Spillian there are no rules, and intentionality is the driving force behind every decision. From the food, to the people, to the actual wedding day, if you can dream it they can accommodate it. We wanted to do our rehearsal dinner there, and they asked us what we wanted for food. I tentatively proposed a build-your-own Bahn Mi bar and Mark wrote back a delicious, detailed menu, complete with boba tea. The food was excellent, and the fact that they have some rooms for you and some guests to stay on site made it even more special. We elected to have our bridal party there and it was so nice to be able to spend some time with them before and after the wedding. We came with all of our own decorations, and our flowers were dropped off the night before, and we were nervous about getting everything set up that day. But Alex and Sam, our day-of coordinators, took care of everything and make it look even better than we had ever imagined. And when it came to the day of, we were so overwhelmed that it was hard to make snap decisions. Sam and Alex were so patient with us, and really helped guide us through the day. I can't sing their praises enough but will publicly thank them here for allowing us to have the wedding of our dreams.”

Ryan the lift operations manager kept Brittany updated on the weather day of and when it didn’t look good at the bottom he drove up to make sure he truly had say no to us going to the summit (it was 30 degrees with 45 kt winds) he and his crew opened the lift for 2 hours the next day so we could still get our summit pictures and they all had smiles on their faces. “We recently had our wedding at ElmRock Inn bnb and we feel very lucky to have made lasting memories there. Rain or shine the grounds were absolutely stunning and the décor tied the ambiance together to create a warm and rustic look to our wedding that we always envisioned. We were blessed with a rainy morning which did not stop us from having a beautiful ceremony. The staff was extremely helpful as we transitioned with the weather. Jen and the other wait staff was very attentive in ensuring that everyone with food restrictions were taken care of. The food was beyond expectations, we had so many guests that came up to us to send compliments to the chef. The reception went off without a hitch! We were even lucky enough to get a visit from the friendly deer that like to roam the property which created the most spectacular and unique photos. There are only a few suggestions that we had about our experience. Those of our guests staying in the Carriage house hit a few snags during their visit. There are a few lifted nails in the floor boards that our guests hit as they walked barefoot upstairs. There was also some difficulty finding hooks to hand towels that were being used or to hang a suit. We stayed in the Iris room which was a beautiful space, however, we were woken up each morning quite early to staff having some loud conversations in the kitchen below us. The only trouble we had during the reception was during our cake cutting. We noticed the cake was not taken out with enough time to thaw after being in the fridge because it was difficult to cut. Regardless of these small challenges, we still had such an amazing time and could not be more happy with this unforgettable day. Thank you ElmRock Inn!”

“We had our wedding at Hotel Lilien in October, and the experience truly could not have been more wonderful. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, it felt like our own little home away from home. Our guests are still talking about how unique the venue was and how perfectly “us” it felt, which meant so much to us. What set the experience apart was the incredible team, especially Jules. Working with her was an absolute joy. She was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. When we had a less-than-favorable experience with our planner, Jules stepped in without hesitation and completely took control of the situation. She handled everything with professionalism and grace, allowing us to feel fully supported and at ease on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Hotel Lilien enough for couples looking for an intimate, memorable, and beautifully run wedding experience. We will always be grateful to the team for going above and beyond for us and look forward to going back and reminiscing about our perfect weekend!”

“This was the best night of my life. We chose to get married at the Rustic Ridge View Farm with Wally’s help in October and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to go. During the day, you get the magical views from the mountain side and at night you get to see the pavilion lit up with all of the lights and decorations. Truly a one of a kind experience. One of the best additions to the place is the fire pit for s’mores which Wally gladly takes care of. He’s very responsive and helps with anything you may need. If I could do it over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get married.”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.”

“Choosing Beaverkill Valley Inn as our wedding venue was an absolute dream come true - it's not just one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. We're already dreaming of the countless memories we'll create here in the years to come!”

“Our wedding weekend at Black Walnut Farm was nothing short of extraordinary. I had always dreamed of more than just a single day or a few hours of celebration. I imagined a full weekend surrounded by our favorite people, celebrating a love I had hoped for my entire life. Black Walnut Farm made that dream a reality in the most magical way. My fiancé and I got engaged in June 2024 and waited until August to begin planning so we could savor being engaged. Black Walnut Farm was our first venue visit. During their open house, we explored the property while enjoying signature cocktails and bites, and we immediately felt at home meeting Jim. His warmth, charisma, and genuine spirit set the tone for everything that followed. The estate is breathtaking. Acres of beauty, an enchanting forest, whimsical gardens, and a farmhouse filled with stunning, eclectic antiques. Within minutes, we knew our search was over. As we left, Jim smiled, saying he could tell we had found “the one.” The planning process was seamless and stress-free. As someone who goes with the flow, I was amazed by how organized and supportive the team was. Timelines, documents, and communication were clear and thoughtful. Sarah, co-owner and Jim’s partner, made the experience effortless. While the venue is largely a la carte, Sarah provides a curated list of trusted vendors so you never feel lost. Together, Sarah and Jim are an unmatched team. We chose the weekend package, allowing us and six guests to stay in the farmhouse from Thursday through Monday. Walking in felt like stepping into a dream. We were greeted with a handwritten card, a charcuterie board, and champagne. Fresh banana bread, muffins, and cookies were displayed, the refrigerator stocked with snacks, drinks, and s’mores essentials, and a bar cart held homemade old fashioneds. Every room included robes and fresh water by the bedside, and fireplaces were ready with stacked firewood. Our honeymoon suite was spacious and cozy, with its own fireplace, sitting area, and clawfoot tub. Black Walnut Farm even created a custom flag with our names and named a tree in our honor, a meaningful and unforgettable touch. On Friday evening, we hosted our rehearsal dinner for fifty-five guests in the barn, which perfectly blends rustic elegance with antique details and warmth. The staff’s pride and attention to detail were evident, and Jim, Sarah, or Lindsey were always nearby to ensure everything ran smoothly. After dinner, my bridesmaids and I returned to the farmhouse for a cozy night by the fire watching Father of the Bride. Our wedding day was pure magic. We got ready together in a sun-filled room, sharing laughter and happy tears. We exchanged vows in the forest, a fairytale setting. The celebration continued in the barn with cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and dessert. Guests loved the barn loft, complete with a photo booth and a phone for leaving messages. Although the weather prevented our planned bonfire hour, Sarah and Jim graciously extended our time in the barn, ensuring the night remained just as special. This weekend was the best experience of our lives. Our friends and family still talk about how incredible it was. We are endlessly grateful to Sarah, Jim, Miss Lily, and the entire Black Walnut Farm team for creating a wedding weekend we will cherish forever.”

“My husband and I hosted our Friday night welcome party at The Mod House during our wedding weekend last summer, and it was one of the most memorable parts of the entire celebration. We were looking for something different from a traditional welcome party—a place with great music, delicious food, plenty of room to mingle, and an atmosphere that encouraged people to relax, dance, and have fun. We envisioned a groovy 1970s-style house party, and The Mod House was absolutely perfect. The mid-century modern home is incredibly unique, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, multiple bars, and an amazing speakeasy-style basement that created the perfect setting for the evening. Nick was fantastic to work with from start to finish. As someone who curates private music events throughout the year, he had excellent recommendations for bands and DJs and helped us create exactly the vibe we were hoping for. Based on his suggestions, we hired a DJ to play outside while guests enjoyed cocktails at his newly built outdoor bar and pizza from a food truck. Later in the evening, everyone moved downstairs to the speakeasy, where a local funk band performed and had the entire room dancing. Nick also helped us curate our drink menu and coordinated bartenders, making the planning process seamless. Every detail came together beautifully, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. Many told us it was one of the best welcome parties they had ever attended and such a refreshing alternative to the typical wedding weekend event. If you're looking for a venue with incredible character, great energy, and an unforgettable atmosphere, The Mod House is truly special. We couldn't have imagined a better place to kick off our wedding weekend.”

Knowing that the vast majority of our guests would have to fly in to our wedding, no matter where we had it, it was important to us that we had a venue we could book for the whole weekend. Combined with all of the amenities Wylder offers, it was a no-brainer. The wedding weekend would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the incredible staff, particularly Andrea and Faith. From the moment of our first phone call until we were leaving the farewell brunch, they took care of us every step of the way. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, and Wylder truly felt like our home for the weekend. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful venue (with a lovely rain/cold weather location, which we ended up using), incredible food, and great service!”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! “We absolutely loved having our wedding at Windham Manor in the fall! The property is stunning, and the views are gorgeous, especially in the early autumn. We got married in the Enchanted Forest, had cocktail hour on the lawn, and our reception in the barn. Everything flowed seamlessly and with 110 guests, the layout was perfect. Although Windham is a small town, it’s easy for guests to find places to stay and things to explore. We did our rehearsal dinner in town and hosted our Sunday brunch at the on-site house. Susan and Barry were wonderful, checking in with us and giving us time to settle in on Thursday. They also offered a variety of decor items such as candles, vases, runners, etc., which made setting up our reception easy and stress-free. We stayed with our wedding party at the house onsite and this really helped make our weekend extra special. We loved having our wedding party with us to hang out and catch up, and to facilitate our after party. Our house manager, Karen, was incredible. She was extremely thoughtful, attentive, and always anticipating what we needed. She checked in throughout the day with even small things like water, coffee, or food. She helped the weekend feel calm and effortless. From the moment we first visited, we knew Windham Manor was our number one choice and it did not disappoint!”
