Plattekill Mountain offers an intimate outdoor mountaintop ceremony location with pristine, panoramic views. You and your guests can ride by chair lift to the custom-built wedding ceremony deck and back down for a cocktail hour on the beautiful wrap-around lodge deck. The lodge deck features gorgeous valley views, portable deck heaters, a covered pergola bar, and two fire pits, perfect for toasting S’mores. This ample space includes large windows, cathedral ceilings, romantic party lighting, and a dance floor for guests to dance the night away. Further facilities include a private bridal suite for you and your close friends to relax and prepare for the festivities ahead.

Available all year, host your private event or party at Plattekill and have the entire mountain/lodge exclusively yours. We can tailor your event to exactly how you’d like it. All our events are completely private, one event at a time! Our lodge offers indoor/outdoor setting and Catskill Mountain views as far as the eye can see. Daytime events have the option to add on chairlift service for guests.

    Amazing wedding venue

    I cannot say enough amazing things about Plattekill. My guests are still raving about our wedding from the food to the hospitality to the scenery, everything on our special day was absolutely perfect. From the bartenders to the people helping with the ski lift to the caterers, everyone helping that day was so lovely and personable it was such a pleasure meeting and interacting with them all. We loved how unique it was that we could take a ski lift to the top of a mountain and get married up there and also how the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing portions were all in separate areas. The fire pit so guests could enjoy some outside time and roast some marshmallows was such a nice rustic touch as well. Autumn was the woman who helped us from our first tour there, communications leading up to, and the day before and during our wedding and she was amazing from start to finish. We are so grateful for this venue and that we booked with them, our wedding day exceeded our expectations and was absolutely perfect thanks to them.

    The Best Wedding Venue You Could Ever Dream Of

    We are absolutely at a loss for words to describe how incredible our wedding at Plattekill Mountain was. From the moment we pulled up to the venue, we knew this place was something truly special. The breathtaking scenery alone sets the stage for a magical day, but what really makes Plattekill stand out is the incredible team behind it. Danielle, Autumn, Shannon, Bob, and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This venue is gorgeous, but it’s the staff that truly makes it shine. They are so well-polished, so professional, and yet so warm and caring at the same time. It’s clear that they’re not just in the wedding business—they’re creating memories and crafting perfect experiences with love and intention. From day one, they made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every little detail was handled with such care, and every suggestion they gave us made our day that much more magical. There is something undeniably special happening at Plattekill Mountain, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding there. Our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we agree—it was the best weekend of our lives.
