Silk & Shadows began with an unlikely partnership: a magician with a flair for drama and a project manager who likes everything running on schedule. Turns out, weddings require a healthy dose of both. We're a Portland-based wedding planning and coordination studio serving Oregon and Washington. We have a weakness for whimsical settings, romantic atmosphere, theatrical details, and traditions with an unexpected twist. But we're just as happy working on a sunny garden wedding as a candlelit Victorian affair. Along with planning and coordination, we offer officiating, vow writing, décor, and specialty rentals. The Day Of Company offers Day Of Coordination for couples who have made (or are in the process of making) all of the plans for their wedding but would like a professional Coordinator (who also happens to be incredibly pleasant to work with) there that day to ensure those plans come together.
