As someone who had an unfortunate experience with a wedding planner scamming me (aka I paid her a deposit and she ghosted me), believe me when I say Breanna is the real deal. I signed her for partial planning services and she did not disappoint. For context, I had no idea what I was doing. I had never attended a wedding and my parents are immigrants who didn’t have the whole American wedding experience, so they had even less of a clue of how it works. I knew I’d miss crucial details and needed someone along the way as I was planning all by myself. Breanna came up with timelines, emailed vendors for me, checked in frequently, and gave me solid guidance whenever I needed advice. I think where she really shined was the day of. So if you’re considering it, at the very least sign her to be your day-of coordinator. I’m an extremely organized person, but on the wedding day I didn’t want to be running around. She was extremely professional and responsible throughout the whole day. Breanna was always one step ahead. I arrived at the church, she was already there waiting having organized the wedding party to walk down the aisle. Bus pulled up at the venue, Breanna was already there clipboard in hand. Reception started, Breanna was already next to me asking about my thoughts on the food and how things were going. Another thing — before I said it, she already did it. For example, I was worried my welcome sign didn’t get set up so I asked her. She pointed at the sign. She had already set it up. I was worried about vendors knowing about a change of location. Breanna had already updated every single one of them via email days ago. I was worried about whether I signed the right vendors. Breanna vetted every single one. And they all nailed it on the day of. Like I cried tears of joy for over my photographer and florist and how phenomenal they were. Hear me out. I’ll be the first to admit I have trust issues and I am the person who is very much like “I’d rather do it myself because I know it will get done and get done well. So I’ll just do it.” But girly pop, you can’t do it all. And you shouldn’t have to. Enjoy this moment. Breanna is the planner you can trust. Believe her when she says she’ll do it. Know she will do well. For the first time, I could close my eyes, take a deep breath, and know I had nothing to worry about.

We had heard of Julie from our Caterer - he had recommended her to us. And we are SO GLAD he did. She was a Rockstar on our wedding day. She helped set up our venue and coordinate our vendors on the day-of so we did not have to lift a finger. She had been super communicative with us before the wedding so she knew what was our vision. And it was truly a dream come true. Julie had helped the caterers set up almost everything! She worked with them to set up the ceremony (which was beautiful). She set up our archway and put down the decorations with the florist. Then she transferred our arch to the sweetheart table! There were so many details that she helped set up from our tablescapes to the audio guest book to the table and guest cards. She did it all! She also was super helpful and communicated with us on the timeline, helped organize our line-up for the ceremony, made sure we had food and drink during dinner, coordinated with our bus driver, and cleaned up everything at the end of the night for us to pick up in the morning. We would highly recommend Julie for anyone who needs a Day-of Coordinator!

Booking Cassie to be my wedding coordinator three months out to my wedding day was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. For example, one of my vendors insisted an additional hour of rental time needed to be added to the wedding day (that would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and Cassie advocated for me, citing their contract, that it was not necessary. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. Annie from Before You Say I Do was an exceptional day-of-coordinator for our special day. Her communication style was frequent, clear, thoughtful, timely, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. The quality of her work and the value she provided was excellent-- she is hard-working and was incredibly considerate throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond, offering to bring additional decorations and even showing up the day before to assist with our traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, which was not even on the same day as our official wedding. We had only hired her for her day-of coordination package, but even so, she was a consistent voice and helping hand for us for months leading up to the wedding. I can only imaging if we would have booked her whole wedding planning service, our wedding probably would have somehow been even more perfect than it already was. Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. Marissa truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and her passion for her work is apparent from start to finish. My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

When my husband and I began searching for a wedding venue, we visited several locations—but ultimately, we chose our venue because of Danielle. Danielle made everything feel effortless. We were working with a strict budget, and she helped us maximize every dollar without compromising on our vision. Her communication was clear, and consistent, removing of the stress and uncertainty that often comes with planning a wedding. Midway through our planning, Danielle received an exciting opportunity at a new venue. While I was thrilled for her, I couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous about what that might mean for us. But Danielle’s dedication is truly unmatched—despite having started a new role, she returned to oversee our wedding day and stayed through the entire evening. We were beyond grateful for her loyalty and support. One of my favorite memories from the day (besides marrying my husband, of course!) was when Danielle pulled us aside before the reception to see the reception space fully set up. The countless boxes of candles and decor I had dropped off the night before had been transformed into something so magical. The room took my breath away—I was instantly in tears. MK Your Dream Day began when founder and CEO, Mary Kate, was asked to be an extra set of hands at her co-worker's wedding. Having had a strong passion for events, she jumped at the opportunity and coordinated her first wedding in August 2019. Her love for wedding planning has only continued to grow over the years, helping dozens of brides have the wedding they have always dreamed of while growing a team of wedding professionals to help her do so.

You will be so happy you hired MK Your Dream Day to make sure your wedding weekend goes seamlessly. We interviewed 4-5 wedding planner candidates and chose Mary Kate and her team because they offered a final 60 days package that was perfect for what we needed (we had already hired almost all of our wedding weekend vendors). By the time our big weekend arrived, we didn’t have to make any decisions about logistics, we were just able to be fully present and enjoy everything. We were thrilled to have Nicole as our primary planner. She is on top of everything. What stood out was Nicole’s proactive attention to detail. As our wedding day approached, she kept thinking of little details about our wedding to address that we would never have thought of. In their very helpful wedding portal, we were able to view a draft timeline of our wedding weekend more than six weeks out. Seeing the weekend laid out in detail well in advance minimized any potential stress we might have otherwise had. In addition to planning and executing the wedding day, Nicole also managed our rehearsal dinner with setup, vendor management, some cleanup so that our family didn’t have to do a thing and could just enjoy the event. On our wedding day, Nicole was accompanied by two assistants who made sure we had everything we needed throughout the getting ready hours, first look, photos, the ceremony, and the reception. The whole team was clearly on the same page and coordinating with each other behind the scenes. Nicole and Mary Kate were amazing to work with and we enjoyed spending time with them leading up to and on our wedding weekend. They came down to our rehearsal dinner venue, ceremony space, and reception venue for a 60-minute site visit and courteously spent two full hours with us making sure every detail and logistic was covered, in addition to ensuring our parents didn’t have to lift a finger when it came to executing the rehearsal dinner in their backyard. Nicole excelled at solving complex problems, like when our bus company went AWOL and we needed to add another bus for our big day. She relentlessly tracked down the right person and secured our second bus, then worked through our complicated itinerary and bus schedule to get everyone where they needed to go.

Sarah was a clear standout from all the planners we met. My initial impression of her was that she was warm, kind, and professional. She didn’t expect us to have every detail figured out and was incredibly welcoming from our very first conversation. We hired Sarah as a full-time planner, and she was always available to text, email, or chat about anything and everything. I still wanted some independence when it came to design choices, and she was very respectful of that. She is extremely organized and always came prepared—asking the best questions during vendor meetings. She also served as the main point of contact for all our vendors, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Since we’re currently out of state but wanted our wedding in Massachusetts, Sarah went above and beyond for us. She visited all the venues we were interested in and sent us videos so we could make informed decisions from afar. I met Sarah in person for the first time on our wedding day, and immediately noticed how sweet and endearing she truly is. She exudes grace and came fully prepared with everything we could possibly need. Even though she had never worked with our venue before and the weather was unpredictable, she remained calm and composed throughout. Since we didn’t do a rehearsal, the bridal party and I felt a bit lost—like herding blind sheep! But Sarah handled it like a pro. She was always exactly where we needed her to be. Her team member Nicole was also incredible—my dress straps broke from dancing, and Nicole stitched them back good as new. I truly could not have done this without Sarah. Wei Yuh was incredibly hard-working in ironing out all the logistics, from our backyard wedding, to the standing ceremony, and multiple events and locations over the course of the weekend for about 120 guests.
