“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

“We found Brandon through our wedding planner Christine Garrison of CMG Events. She suggested him because we were interested in having someone play acoustic guitar and singing during the wedding. After chatting with Brandon, we hired him to play the guitar for our ceremony, act as a wandering minstrel during the cocktail hour, and DJ the entire event. Our ceremony took place outdoors in an open lawn area. Brandon did a great job with setting up the sound. Everyone was able to hear both us and the officiant clearly. The acoustic rendition of Heartbeats (Jose Gonzalez) and Wildflowers (Tom Petty) he played for our processional and recessional were beautiful and really set the mood we were looking for. Brandon also did a great job DJing the event. He was able to take a small number of songs and expand the playlist to not only fit our tastes but keep the party hopping. We had expected that we would have minimal dancing and that our crowd would mostly just sit around chatting. However, Brandon was able to keep the energy up and the dance floor going throughout the night. It far exceeded our expectations and made the night really memorable. He was extremely professional throughout the planning process. We had several calls leading up to the wedding, and he made it easy to communicate what we were looking for in the event. We added songs to a few different playlists which he used as a jumping off point. He also provided suggestions for all the important moments (e.g., processionals, recessional, first dance, grand entrance). His contract and other documents were also clear and always sent promptly. On the day of Brandon arrived on time for set up and did a great job with all aspects (sound, DJing, acoustic performance, and lighting) of the event. He looked extremely professional and was communicative throughout the day, constantly checking in with the planner and us to make sure everything was going well. If he wasn’t sure about a song, he’d ask before playing it. Best of all, he was extremely reasonably priced. His assistant, Josh, was also very nice and did a great job.”

“Golden Bell traveled to New Orleans to play my wedding, and they put on the set of our dreams. We skipped all of the expected wedding songs and handed them a playlist of all of our favorite disco and funk songs (with a sprinkling of Phish jams) and they delivered an absolutely mind-blowing set. I pretty much missed the rest of my reception because I was on the dance floor All. Night. Long. (Please see photos below of me LOSING MY MIND). Our wedding was 8 months ago (yes, this review is super late) and people are STILL making comments about how good the music at our wedding was. If you are a funk/ disco fan, hire Golden Bell. If you are a Phish fan, hire Golden Bell. If you can’t decide between a band and a DJ, hire Golden Bell. If you want your wedding to be a vibe unlike all the other weddings, hire Golden Bell. “Trecee was our DJ for our outdoor wedding reception, and he was amazing! My husband and I were originally going to just play music from our phone, but I’m glad that we found and hired Trecee instead! With no coordinator and last minute changes before and on the day of our wedding, Trecee remained professional, flexible, and fun as our DJ and MC! He followed our song cue list wonderfully, and helped us remix our first dance songs just how we planned. He made announcements we had set on the schedule as well as additional ones requested. He also made funny comments, which totally added to the vibes. His music choices were just what we were looking for, and even with a request by my family to switch to slower songs, he did it seamlessly; Fun, hyped songs for the younger crowd and romantic songs for the elders. He arrived about 45 minutes before his contract hours started to set up and even gave us (bridal party) warnings and updates on getting behind or on track of schedule! (Which is very helpful as, again, we didn’t have a coordinator.) Overall, he is a great DJ & MC, and my now husband and I would highly recommend his services! “What an amazing experience working with Joey. He was very thoughtful in curating the music for our day and I hope you find what you are looking for with him. I am a wedding vendor of 15 years as well doing hair, makeup and morning concierge. One of my past brides at one of my most favorite venues to work at is how I was introduced to Joey. After coming out of the hair room I love taking a moment to walk around the venue and there he was playing the cello along with some background music. I was hooked. I love that he was incorporating songs of today with the art of an instrument. I found it unique and something I wanted to showcase at my wedding. I didn’t want people to walk up to just music playing in the space, but an experience. Joey took the time to do 2 calls with us, one being over the phone and the second being over zoom. He came with a detailed questionnaire of how we wanted our wedding to go. It was so detailed that even a music mood girl I didn’t even think of. The calls were scheduled for 30 minutes but he didn’t hesitate to chat with me for over an hour on how I wanted it to be curated. I had already started 2 wedding playlists, but he added and sent me 5 to 6 albums to fill out of songs I loved and wanted. I had over 10 hours of music to play and not only did he take those into consideration he added music that my guests also requested. He even accepted me saying change this song and only play the 10 year olds music every 10 songs He needed to set up in two spaces, one for the ceremony which was outside on our property. He was set up and playing by the time guests arrived. Everyone I spoke with loved the music selection, which I told him “Bridgerton vibes” and he ran with it. After the ceremony his assistant had music playing for the cocktail hour while they broke down the equipment in the ceremony area. I was blown away by the lights that were brought and the look of everything. Microphones worked for speeches and he even had a stand for those who wanted to use them. We didn’t do a traditional walk in but he announced us perfectly and we ran around the tables saying hello to our friends and family. I would recommend Joey to anyone looking to have an experience for their guests, have a DJ but also want strings all in one. He was professional, timely and for someone who did not have a day of coordination or planner very informative. I wanted vendors to do what they do best and I’m glad I trusted him to provide us with music throughout the day and night!”

“We couldn't have been happier with SF Wedding Violinist Ilana's services. Her performance was unforgettable and she put us at ease immediately from the very first contact. She clearly has SO much experience and her resume is incredible, she's been onstage with literally all of our favorite artists, everyone from Andrea Bocelli to Kygo, Odesza, Yandel, and even classics like the Eagles and Beck! Her playlist has 1500 songs and counting, plus she takes requests, so we were able to create a totally custom playlist which represented our unique (and very different!) tastes. Her contracting process was easy and her prices seemed like a bargain compared to many of the other vendors we initially reached out to. We hope we can book her again-- or that all of our friends do! Also, we liked that she runs her own business and plays her own bookings, so we weren't just getting a random member of a group managed by someone else who happened to be free that day.”

“Richard is a spectacular DJ. All he wants is for you to feel happy and that your needs are met. He was very laid back and easy to work with and communicate our preferences to. His timing the day of was excellent - he did a great job mc'ing for us, and the music was exactly what we wanted. He also had so many options for us to choose from with his skillset, we felt like we had a lot of options to customize what we wanted. “The Lucky Devils Band absolutely made our wedding reception! From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. We can't recommend the Lucky Devils Band highly enough - they were total professionals and our biggest splurge, but SO worth it I’d do it a million times over!!”
