Experience, Dedication, Communication. We are full time DJs performing over 100 weddings per year as well as holding 5 club and bar residencies. Music is not out side gig this is what we do full time.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional
We had our wedding in July of 2026 at Mammoth Mountains, and we had been planning for our special day since September of 2024 when we got engaged. Our experience with this DJ company was one of the biggest disappointments of our wedding day. We hired them expecting a professional, experienced DJ who would be prepared, communicate clearly, and allow us to focus on celebrating with our family and friends. Instead, their lack of preparation, professionalism, and communication created unnecessary stress throughout one of the most important days of our lives. One of the most upsetting moments happened during our grand entrance, when the DJ introduced my wife by the wrong name -"Ashley” instead of Autumn. This was not a minor detail. She was the bride, her name was provided in advance, and it was included in the wedding timeline. Hearing another woman's name announced during my wife's grand entrance, in front of all of our family and friends, was incredibly embarrassing and hurtful. It is difficult to understand how a professional wedding DJ could get something so fundamental wrong. The problems continued throughout the reception. There were repeated computer and equipment failures, including periods with no music during cocktail hour. The wrong playlist was played during dinner, scheduled announcements were missed or announced incorrectly, and the tea ceremony was completely overlooked despite being clearly included in the timeline. The DJ later had to leave the reception to retrieve equipment that had been left upstairs after the ceremony and asked our wedding coordinator to take over announcing the toasts and speeches. More equipment failures occurred during our grand entrance and parent dances, leaving an awkward period of silence during important moments of our wedding. As much as we tried to laugh all of these issues off, they were embarrassing and nearly ruined what should have been the start of our new life together. Our coordinator and other vendors repeatedly had to step in to keep the event moving. Instead of being able to simply enjoy our wedding, we watched other professionals compensate for problems that should have been handled by the DJ. The problems also started well before the wedding day. We communicated with the owner, Louis, multiple times and were repeatedly told that we would receive a written contract, finalized timeline, and script. We never received the written contract, finalized timeline, or script that we were promised. Communication from the owner was frustratingly poor and unresponsive, despite the importance of making sure everything was properly coordinated before our wedding. We understand that technical difficulties can happen at an event. Equipment can fail, and occasional mistakes can occur. What is unacceptable is the sheer number of issues, the lack of preparation, and the failure to provide the level of professional service we paid for. Most importantly, these problems directly affected major moments of our wedding and required our coordinator and other vendors to repeatedly intervene. We hired this company because we trusted them to handle one of the most important days of our lives professionally. Instead, we were left dealing with repeated mistakes, equipment failures, poor preparation, and extremely frustrating communication. We would strongly recommend that couples think twice before booking this company.

Re the name....the only reason that the Dj was confused at that moment was because they were dealing with your dog and their name over and over running through all of the dj equipment. We are sorry that this was the name that he stated at the time. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry that you left your wedding day feeling disappointed — that’s never what we want for any couple, especially on such an important once-in-a-lifetime event. We do want to acknowledge one key point directly: the incorrect name during the grand entrance. That was an unacceptable mistake, and we understand how upsetting that would be. Beyond that, while we don’t agree with every characterization in your post, we take your experience seriously and we’re sorry that any part of the reception felt stressful or off-schedule. For context, this event required unusually complex logistics at Mammoth Mountain, including transporting DJ equipment via gondola in multiple trips, and significant travel well outside our normal service area. We took it on to accommodate your venue and vision, and we recognize that the execution needed to feel seamless from your perspective. Event Advantage performs 300+ weddings per year, maintains an average 4.5-star rating across major platforms, and the vast majority of our couples describe their experience as smooth, organized, and fun. What you described is not reflective of our normal standards, and we take it seriously anytime a client feels let down.

I have used several caterers in the past and the Event Advantage was amazing on so many levels!!! Catering and dj services were so memorable and delicious. Our wedding could not have been more perfect And Louis was such a perfect DJ and so much fun!!!

Amazing job!
Event Advantage was such a great choice for our wedding DJ. Louis understood our timeline perfectly but always checked in with us before big moments to make sure we were ready to move forward. So much fun!
Louis was incredible. He clearly spent time looking at our playlist and getting to know our music tastes, and mixing it with crowd favorites. He kept the evening moving along and had great ideas for our reception, and engaged our guests. The photo booth was a huge hit too!

Perfect Wedding
We used Event Advantage for both catering and DJ services at The Heirloom Inn for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier. From the start, our food tasting with Louis was fantastic and gave us so much confidence. He was organized and professional throughout the planning process, even accommodating a last-minute request for a small kids' meal option which we appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious—our guests are still raving about the scalloped potatoes! As for the music, Louis handled the DJ services himself and executed everything perfectly. He kept the energy going throughout the whole night! The flow of the evening was seamless. Our wedding menu and music were perfect thanks to him!
