Experience, Dedication, Communication. We are full time DJs performing over 100 weddings per year as well as holding 5 club and bar residencies. Music is not out side gig this is what we do full time.

I had a wonderful experience working with Event Advantage for our wedding. Their communication style was patient, professional, swift, and responsive throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and overall value was fantastic - they were hardworking, helpful, polite, professional, and kind. The DJ kept the dance floor packed all night, and the crew even pitched in to help other vendors when they weren't actively working. I would highly recommend Event Advantage to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding band and DJ service.

October 2025 Wedding Honest Review: Poor Communication and Unmet Expectations We don’t like leaving negative reviews, especially because we are generally very laid-back people, which both Louie and the DJ even commented on. However, we feel it’s important that future couples know what kind of service they may actually receive. DJ Services: Communication with Louie was poor from the beginning. After discussing our wants and needs, we were under the clear impression that Louie himself would be our DJ. He consistently used phrases like “I will play this” and “I will do that,” which led us to believe he would be the one at our wedding. At no point were we told someone else would be sent in his place. He specifically told us not to contact him on Mondays or Tuesdays, but even on other days it would take multiple follow-ups via phone and email — sometimes 2-3 times — to get any sort of response. The day of the wedding, we were surprised to receive a call from a DJ we had never met or even been told about.No heads-up, no introduction — just someone new entirely. Unfortunately, the DJ was unprofessional in both appearance and performance: • Had a very noticeable body odor that guests could smell even on the dance floor. • Played the bride’s entrance song for the bridal party and only switched it halfway through. • Struggled with introductions — even after we told him multiple times we were ready to walk in, he seemed confused and delayed things so long we almost walked in without an introduction. • Asked us (the bride and groom) if we were giving a speech — in front of everyone — despite us clearly stating on the form and to Louie that we were not. We filled out a detailed playlist of songs we wanted — less than 50% of them were actually played. Two of the moments we looked forward to most, the anniversary dance and our sparkler send-off song, were completely missed. Again, these were noted in the forms and discussed with Louie beforehand. It was clear there was little to no communication between Louie and the DJ he sent. It felt unorganized and low-effort, and it deeply impacted the flow and feel of our reception. Catering: We chose the pasta bar option to feed 75 guests. Louie reassured us multiple times that there would be plenty of food, even enough for seconds. That did not happen. Guests toward the end of the line said they got noticeably smaller portions compared to others. Since the servers portioned the food, this should have been managed better. Communication around food service was also poor. Guests weren’t clearly told when to begin eating. We were told servers would clear tables afterward — they didn’t. Instead, the groom’s mother and the bride’s brother-in-law ended up clearing tables. The catering staff packed up quickly and left without fulfilling the expectations Louie had set. The food itself did taste good — but overall, the catering service was not as advertised. Final Thoughts: We booked a 1,000 DJ service and expected, at minimum, a smooth and professional experience. What we received was disorganized, poorly communicated, and at times, flat-out awkward. If you're considering booking Louie for DJ or catering services, ask very specific questions, request everything in writing, and be cautious. There is a huge disconnect between what is promised and what is delivered. We hope this helps future couples make an informed decision.

Event Advantage was a fantastic choice for our wedding entertainment. From the very beginning, they demonstrated a professional, wholesome, and friendly communication style that put us at ease. They were open to our ideas, flexible with our requests, and arrived on time to set up seamlessly. On the day of our wedding, they delivered everything we wanted and more - they were able to include a wonderful variety of music to integrate both of our cultural backgrounds, keeping our guests dancing all night long. ALSO the photobooth was a huge hit! We couldn't have asked for a better band and DJ duo to make our special day so memorable.
