    Excellent food quality and presentation, exceptional staff service, and seamless coordination throughout the event. They were flexible in accommodating specific requests and their professionalism in handling any challenges was awesome re timeline changes etc. FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! Every promise made was kept!!! Planning another event for holidays w them too!!! DJ PHENOMINAL TOO!! TY!!!

    I was the wedding planner for a June 7th event where Event Advantage was hired for both catering and DJ services. Unfortunately, this experience was extremely disappointing, and I strongly encourage anyone planning a wedding to read current reviews carefully before booking them. To start, the owner, Louis, canceled the couple’s scheduled tasting 35 minutes before it was supposed to begin due to illness. The couple had traveled from Arizona specifically for this appointment, and they weren’t able to reschedule right away due to their school schedule. The last-minute nature of the cancellation and lack of notice was unprofessional and frustrating. When the tasting was finally rescheduled, the couple chose the pasta bar and enjoyed the food. They also felt confident after meeting Louis, who reassured them he would be present at the wedding and handle everything professionally. Over the next nine months, I communicated repeatedly—via email and phone—that the groom had a serious allergy to peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs. Louis assured us this wouldn’t be a problem. The company was also hired for DJ services. The couple submitted a detailed schedule, music selections, and announcements in early May but never received a response. I had to follow up multiple times, and Louis was often chaotic and disorganized. Just days before the wedding, I had a final call with Louis to review all details—catering logistics, dietary accommodations for our guests- and the DJ timeline. He again confirmed everything was understood. On the Wedding Day Louis DID NOT show up. He didn’t notify anyone, and when the venue coordinator reached him, he said he wasn’t coming, sending two staff members in his place. I had never met these staff members. More concerning, the groom’s allergy was not communicated to the staff. The groom was served food that had been cross-contaminated with egg. When brought to the server’s attention, they simply scraped the plate and attempted to re-serve it without cleaning it—unaware of the allergy’s severity. The groom understandably felt insecure about the food at this point, as the staff could not guarantee its safety. The service team was understaffed, and tables weren’t cleared. Guests began clearing their own plates. The DJ experience was equally poor. With the exception of the ceremony and exit music, the couple’s music selections or announcements were not followed. There was no crowd engagement, and relatives had to step in to get attention before announcements. They even had to encourage people to get on the dance floor because the DJ didn’t make an effort. Adding to the issues, the microphone didn’t work during the ceremony, and the officiant was barely heard. After the wedding, I contacted Louis to share our concerns. He initially responded but quickly became defensive and dismissive. At the continued insistence of the groom’s parents, Louis issued a partial refund for the DJ and catering gratuity but insisted the refund was conditional on me not leaving a review. I didn’t agree to this condition, as Louis has no right to control how I share. Although he may reference awards or past recognition, those do not reflect my experience or that of the bride and groom, who were deeply disappointed. Do not hire Event Advantage. The lack of communication, unsafe food handling, technical negligence, and failure to follow through made this experience deeply frustrating on what should have been a joyful day for the couple.

    REVIEWED W VENDORS, VENUE OWNERS, ALL STAFF....THIS IS BEYOND INACCURATE AND WRONG. Regarding the tasting, I want to clarify that the cancellation happened because my wife was involved in a serious car accident just before the scheduled time. Our vehicle was totaled, and my wife had to be taken to the hospital. This was a true emergency—completely out of our control—and I did my best to notify you as soon as I could under extremely difficult circumstances. (The fact that this is being used against me now, especially when it only impacted the tasting and not the wedding itself, is honestly very saddening. My first priority in that moment had to be my family's safety, and I hope that can be understood and were told it was at the time.)

    Event Advantage Catering exceeded our expectations in every way. Their communication was quick, polite, and respectful from the very first interaction. The quality of their work and overall value was truly outstanding - they went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was fun and well-done. The staff was attentive and personable, even bringing food right to our sweetheart's table. The bartender was an absolute delight and felt like our best friend all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better catering team to be a part of our special day.

    Event Advantage Catering was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication style was easy, relaxed, and casual, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, they arrived with plenty of time to spare and had the set-up looking perfect. The food they provided was delicious - we received rave reviews from our guests, especially about the brisket! We highly recommend. Louis, our main point of contact, was great and constantly checked in to ensure we were on schedule. He also provided separate gluten-free plates for two of our guests and worked to involve all of our guests throughout the night. Overall, Event Advantage Catering helped make our special day incredibly smooth and memorable. We highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!
