    DJ No Showed and Then Took Client's Money

    As a wedding planner, I coordinated a wedding where this DJ was hired by our mutual clients. He was scheduled to arrive 2 hours before the ceremony but never showed up and did not contact the couple, the venue, or the planning team. After he was approximately 30 minutes late, I called his phone and his fiancée answered, stating he had been hospitalized since the previous day. While emergencies can happen, no one had communicated this to anyone involved with the wedding despite ample opportunity to do so. We ultimately had less than two hours before the ceremony to locate a replacement DJ so the wedding could proceed. Following the wedding, the couple informed me they were unable to resolve the matter with him, did not receive a refund, and were ultimately blocked on social media. Based solely on my professional experience coordinating this event, I cannot recommend this business.

    We do not recommend this DJ.

    He did not show up to our wedding, and we only found out about an hour before our ceremony after we repeatedly called and texted him. There was absolutely no communication from him before our wedding or afterward. We requested a refund multiple times through text and Zelle and never received a response or a refund. To make matters worse, he blocked me on Instagram instead of addressing the situation. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and couples deserve reliability, professionalism, accountability, and communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

    Exceeded Expectations (Even as a DJ Myself)

    As a DJ myself—and someone who loves EDM and definitely has high expectations—I was honestly blown away. From the start, he carried himself with so much professionalism and humbleness, which really stood out. He took our favorite EDM tracks from the raves where my wife and I met and worked them into the night in a way that felt meaningful, not forced. At the same time, he somehow kept our families fully entertained… and they do not like EDM lol That balance is not easy, but he nailed it. He played those classic songs everyone knows but can never name, kept all generations engaged, and even helped our families appreciate our EDM instead of tuning it out. On top of the music, he was just a genuinely kind, humble person. You don’t always expect that level of humbleness from someone with this much talent. We’re so happy we booked him and couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.
