We create exciting and unique events and go above and beyond to create a special experience for our couples and clients. We have a team of event professionals who specialize in DJ / Live fusion, world-class dance parties, stunning lighting design and high-quality photo booths. When good isn’t good enough and your worst fear is getting that cheesy DJ that your guests don’t like or won’t remember, Sounds Elevated is here to help!

Each DJ and musician on our team is an experienced professional who is as comfortable on a festival stage or at a club as they are at a high-end corporate event. Our aim is to be the antithesis of a standard wedding DJ company. We know you only get married once and we want this to be an amazing experience that your guest can't stop talking about.

    Couldn't leave the dancefloor

    From our first conversation with Sounds Elevated, we knew we had found the right fit for our wedding. The team was responsive and easy to work with, taking time to understand our vision while bringing their own creative ideas to the table. On the day of the wedding, their coordination between the live musicians and DJ was seamless (we had DJ Fusion for reception), and the talent they brought was truly world-class. We wanted to stay on the dancefloor all night, and they made that happen with an energetic mix of songs that kept everyone moving and having a blast. Sounds Elevated turned our reception into an unforgettable celebration that felt both fun and polished. We can't recommend them highly enough!!

    Best Party Ever!

    We had such an amazing experience working with Sounds Elevated for our wedding! From the beginning, their communication style was thorough, friendly, and fun. The quality of their work and value they provided was truly top-notch - they were creative, energetic, and flexible throughout the entire process. Having the John Varn Trio perform live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour set the perfect vibe right from the start. And when it was time for the reception, DJ Robin brought so much awesome energy to the dancefloor that had all ages out there partying all night long. There was never a dull moment thanks to the perfect blend of oldies, Bay Area hype, and millennial bangers that they curated. We would recommend the Sounds Elevated team to everyone - we don't think there is a better company out there to go with for your wedding or event!

    Zeb Does It ALL

    This review for Zeb (and the whole Sounds Elevated Team) is long overdue. Zeb is not only an incredible musician in his own right but plays the role of musical conductor with equal panache. A true “Jack of All Trades.” Some of the many hats he wore for our wedding include: -He played solo guitar for our ceremony -Lined up a jazz quartet for the happy hour -Setup the party lighting (party but classy) for the reception -Setup a photo booth for guests to take fun photos (a big hit btw) -DJ’d with a live accompaniment combo for the reception - stayed up way later than we asked him to, and DJ our afterparty (which was a VERY different vibe than the reception). He was hustling for easily 10 hours straight. And every single element he contributed to the festivities was top tier. My older cousin, a professional musician for many years, was blown away by the level of talent. It’s been almost two years since the wedding and we still get compliments about the entertainment. He and his team went above and beyond. Easily the best “value” for anything we spent money on for the wedding. I strongly recommend meeting with Zeb and gearing his philosophy/approach to weddings/events.

Yes! Sounds Elevated is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) to your venue upon request. If your venue has specific insurance requirements, just let us know and we’ll make sure everything is taken care of well before your wedding day.

Absolutely! We’re a full-service entertainment company offering much more than DJ services. In addition to lighting design, ceremony audio, wireless microphones, and modern photo booths, we provide Silent Disco experiences, DJ + Live Fusion, string ensembles, solo guitar, jazz and acoustic groups, and a wide variety of live musicians. Whether you’re envisioning an intimate ceremony or a high-energy reception, we can help create a seamless entertainment experience from start to finish.
We arrive 2-4 hours before guests, depending on the scope of work and size of the event.

Our team typically dresses in formal black attire, but we’re happy to tailor our look to match your event, whether that’s black tie, cocktail, vineyard chic, or something more relaxed. Our goal is to blend seamlessly into your celebration while looking polished, professional, and event-appropriate.
Absolutely! Whether or not we take guest requests is completely up to you. Many couples love giving guests the freedom to make requests, while others prefer to keep the playlist more curated, and we’re happy to honor either approach. We also use an easy music planning app that lets you build playlists, note your must-plays and do-not-plays, and even share a link so guests can submit song requests before the wedding. It’s a fun way to involve your guests while still keeping you in control.
Yes! We work with an extensive network of talented musicians and can provide entertainment for a wide range of cultural, religious, and specialty celebrations. Whether you’re looking for a string quartet, mariachi band, jazz trio, solo guitarist, Indian dhol player, bagpiper, gospel vocalist, or another unique performance, we’d be happy to help create an entertainment experience that reflects your traditions and vision.
Travel within our standard service area is included. For events farther away and destination events, we apply travel and lodging fees depending on the distance, timing, and event logistics. We’ll always discuss any applicable fees upfront, so there are never any surprises. Unlike many companies, we don’t charge teardown or breakdown fees. Once we’re there, we take care of everything from setup to the final load-out.
Absolutely! We can provide music and sound for every part of your wedding day, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. We are also available for afterparties, welcome events, pool parties and boat parties. Whether you’re looking for a live guitarist, string ensemble, jazz trio, acoustic duo, DJ set, or a combination of live musicians and DJ, we’ll create a seamless flow that matches the vibe of each moment.
Planning the music should be fun, not overwhelming. We use an intuitive music planning app where you can build playlists, add must-plays and do-not-plays, organize music for each part of the day, and even invite guests to submit song requests if you’d like. You'll have your own custom portal and app link. A few weeks before your wedding, we’ll meet to walk through your vision, timeline, and musical preferences in detail. Then we take everything you’ve shared and bring it to life, while reading the room and making real-time decisions to keep the energy flowing all night.
