I’m Mark Addington, owner, founder, emcee, DJ, public speaker, and most importantly…creative at heart. I started my DJ career over 20 years ago for fun and fell in love with it along the way. My goal is to make this choice a simple, informed and fun part of the wedding process. I’m here to communicate and plan pre-wedding so you and your guests can leave it all on the dancefloor the day of the wedding.
This journey started with a love for music, my dad’s vinyl and 2 turntables. I feel like I’ve lived a million lives but music and entertaining has always been a constant. I’ve worked at a casting agency, on movie and commercial sets, acted, modeled, DJ’d on the SF club scene, rocked thousands of events and even worked at my favorite job Pixar! I’m lucky to have so much amazingness in my life and am often told that you can hear my smile through the phone. But enough about me, let’s talk about you! Fantastic DJ and great person.
Mark Addington was absolutely fantastic at our wedding. He took the playlists we gave him, mixed in some of his own choices, and somehow made it all work perfectly. The dance floor stayed busy all night, and he did a great job reading the crowd and keeping the energy going. He also handled so much more than just the dancing. Mark took care of the ceremony music and microphones for me and our officiant, cocktail hour music, and all of the announcements throughout the day and reception. He had everything set up and ready to go, and we never had to think or worry about any of it. One of the things we appreciated most was that he listened to what we wanted while still using his experience to fill in the gaps and keep everything moving. The music was a huge part of the night for us, and Mark knocked it out of the park. We had an incredible wedding, and Mark was a big part of making it such a great night. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

Best DJ Ever!
Choosing Mark as the DJ for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! He was so great to work with and was very responsive to all of our questions while we were planning. He put together an amazing mix for our somewhat different father-daughter dance and gave us many suggestions and advice throughout planning. We always knew Mark had things handled so didn’t ever have to spend time stressing before or on our wedding day. He kept our dance floor packed throughout the entire evening. To quote one of our guests, “it was banger after banger.” We truly could not have asked for a better DJ!

Mark was an incredible DJ and emcee for our wedding. He read the room perfectly all night, kept the dance floor packed from our first dance through send-off, and handled every timeline shift without missing a beat. From our first meeting to the week-before check in, Mark was so generous with his wisdom and advice for what to expect on the day of the wedding. Whether it was the tempo changes throughout the day, being present at specific moments that we will cherish, and understanding our vision which was executed flawlessly. Mark was Captain Good Vibes on the S.S. Best Day Ever! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a DJ/MC who will make your reception unforgettable!

Best day of our lives!
What an amazing day that could not have happened without Mark’s incredible expertise! When we first approached Mark to potentially DJ/MC our wedding, we were pretty much immediately sold for a few reasons. First, Mark is so personable and easy to talk to! He really makes you feel at ease and that he truly cares about your wedding experience and vision. Second, he is incredibly organized. We again felt like we were in the safest hands because we could really trust that he was going to be on top of it all leading up to the day and the day of. Third, the breadth of experience he has had doing this was so apparent. We honestly were so unsure of how this sort of thing should go and the countless details that might be small but really matter. He held our hands through all of the organization and made sure we were aware of all the decisions that we’d need to make in order to ensure the day went as smooth as possible! I would strongly recommend considering Mark for any of my friends/family that are planning a wedding. I think after meeting and talking with Mark the first time, anyone would agree that he is the guy you’d want to DJ/MC your wedding! Our wedding day was unforgettable thanks to Mark!

Perhaps best wedding dj ever
It was an absolute pleasure working with Mark, he brought energy and was inquisitive and gave us confidence in picking or adjusting the songs we did. On the day of, he seamlessly blended each song into the next, matching the desired vibe of the party. So many different people came up to us saying it was the best wedding playlist they ever heard, I’m not making that up. He used a lot of our chosen favorites but wasn't afraid to use his own choices based on the music and party vibes to fill in the gaps. If i had any critique it was simply that there were no songs i could tear myself away from to dash to the bathroom. Lastly, Mark did a great job tying together the multigenerational guests at our party. Everybody from our grand parents down to our friends were having a great time.
