Mark Addington Events
I’m Mark Addington, owner, founder, emcee, DJ, public speaker, and most importantly…creative at heart. I started my DJ career over 20 years ago for fun and fell in love with it along the way. My goal is to make this choice a simple, informed and fun part of the wedding process. I’m here to communicate and plan pre-wedding so you and your guests can leave it all on the dancefloor the day of the wedding.
This journey started with a love for music, my dad’s vinyl and 2 turntables. I feel like I’ve lived a million lives but music and entertaining has always been a constant. I’ve worked at a casting agency, on movie and commercial sets, acted, modeled, DJ’d on the SF club scene, rocked thousands of events and even worked at my favorite job Pixar! I’m lucky to have so much amazingness in my life and am often told that you can hear my smile through the phone. But enough about me, let’s talk about you! Amazing Wedding DJ
We couldn't be happier with our experience with Mark! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and truly understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding. He worked with the venue to keep us on track, making announcements as needed, and make the whole evening flow. The music was absolutely perfect—from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the dance floor. When our timeline got a bit off during the wedding day, Mark took ownership of the situation and quickly got everything back on schedule so the day ran smoothly (as a Bride, this took stress off of my plate and I truly just enjoyed the night!) We had full confidence in Mark from our first conversation with him. So enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and the antithesis of the big box places that were hounding us. We so valued his opinion that we ended up asking him about wedding aspects totally unrelated to music. And as far as the music goes, he was awesome, from his musical selection suggestions to the timing of all the tracks during the ceremony to the MC duties at the ceremony. Next time I get married, I'm hiring Mark again (just kidding).
