Hiring a wedding planner is one of the first decisions we made during the wedding planning process. We needed a planner that knows how to stand on business and deal with logistics for a ginormous crowd (300), but also be someone that can vibe with us because they'll be dealing with all our shenanigans during the planning process on the day of the wedding. We went through a handful of wedding planner consultations before we met with Carina and after meeting her - it was definitely wedding-planner-love at first sight! And it was the best decision we made! During the year long planning process, Carina was able to lay out the whole process so we never felt rushed. She also designed our whole wedding beautifully, because neither I nor my now husband have a single artistic bone in our body. Aside from her impeccable planning skills, she is just a delightful person to be around who sincerely just loves what she does and bringing her couples vision to life (while staying reasonably under budget). She took what is usually a stressful process and made it as fun as you can make wedding planning. My now husband and I didn't think there was any way we could have our 300 Vietnamese wedding without any major bumps (just due to the sheer number of people), but thanks to Carina and her wedding magic, we had the most beautiful perfect day! We couldn't have had our perfect day without her!

Last Saturday my daughter chose The Gather Station to have her wedding. It was perfect with a rustic yet elegant atmosphere. The service was set outside against the wood background and then we enjoyed a fantastic Charcuterie during happy hour on the covered porch. We had 84 people with plenty of room to dance and have fun inside. Susan-and Kristen made the entire day go smooth and kept everything moving on time and allowed me to enjoy my daughter’s wedding. Wedding planning felt like a natural calling once I realized I could combine my love for celebrations with my knack for lists, spreadsheets, and problem-solving. I approach each couple like a trusted friend, creating a calm, supportive planning experience so you can truly enjoy your engagement and wedding day.

We had an amazing experience with Carolina Event Masters. We had Kenzie as our coordinator as well as two amazing assistants. We had a 7-month engagement and got married December 20, 2025 for a wedding in Henderson, NC with about 100 people in attendance. We found CEM through a NC brides Facebook page when we posted looking for day-of coordinators. CEM had several options for what level of support we needed and we went with the middle option - it comprised, in brief, day-of coordination and running the rehearsal, assistance finding a few vendors, and several planning meetings. The level of service we received was what I'd expect from a planner more than a coordinator. CEM wasn't there to show up the day-of and motion to the piano to start playing. They coordinated in advance every moment of the day to make sure it went smoothly and was exactly what we wanted. Not only did they get the contact info of all the vendors for emergencies, but they confirmed every policy and communicated with them in advance to make sure they knew what to expect. They toured the church and reception venue to make sure they were familiar with the spaces. Not only did they helped with what we asked about, but they asked questions to help us avoid making last-minute decisions or missing things that were important to us that we hadn't thought about. For ex., they asked about what we wanted to happen with the flowers after the reception. They also gave us advice based on their experience. For ex., recommending we list the table assignments by last name. The rehearsal was very professional and pleasant - they were very prompt and made sure to go through everything thoroughly. The day of the wedding they split up between church/reception venue. EVERYTHING was either on-time or early all day. They went above and beyond to help set up the reception - something we definitely didn't expect from a coordinator. Our reception venue had staff that set the tables etc., and we had a florist, but CEM reviewed everything, made sure the placecards/kids bags/high chiars were in the right place down to the chair, etc. They also were familiar with the type of photobooth we rented and they set it up entirely for us. All this set up and more was just way beyond what we expected and extremely helpful. We could tell they were invested in making everything beautiful and perfect. Sarah also took several beautiful photos for us - a complete surprise and very special treat. One of our favorite photos from the night was one she took of our first dance. This also gave us a sneak peak into what the reception looked like before anyone had arrived! (All attached photos are from her). We had an issue with our seating chart and they saved the day - long story short it was going to be delivered AFTER the wedding and we thought we were out of luck. I mentioned the issue to Kenzie and when I arrived from the church after the ceremony I saw the seating chart in the doorway before our entry! She had ordered it, picked it up, and set it up for us. I don't know how she did it, but she did, and it was so thoughtful and touching that she would put in that extra effort on top of everything they had on their plates. I could go on and on but I hope this reflects just some of what CEM did for our wedding and how thrilled we were with them. They are a lovely group of people. If we HAD to cut any cost or change any vendor, they would be last on the list. It was perfect.

Jasmine and Shayla were the wedding coordinators of our dreams! Salt & Light's month-of coordination package was perfect for our Durham wedding, which we planned in 8 months (March to November). After picking a venue, booking vendors, ordering décor and invitations, and making so many other choices over the course of the previous 7 months, it was amazing to have these two ladies come in right as we were hitting our wall of exhaustion and overwhelm in the final month before our big day. Putting together a wedding is a sprawling project with so many little details involved, and it can be easy for things to slip through the cracks, even for meticulous/anxious planners like me! Thank goodness for Shayla and Jasmine's experience, expertise, and attention to fine points--they had their eyes on every little thing, and it was so comforting to us to know the two of them had it covered so we didn't have to worry about the small stuff. They gently guided us through making decisions we didn't even know we needed to make, and helped us think through all the moving parts of the wedding day and how the various elements of our plans worked together (this was especially crucial when conceptualizing how our various vendors' needs would weave together into one cohesive schedule). We absolutely adored Jackie and her daughter Madison while working together for our November 2025 wedding. Jackie came in and was willing to roll with the punches, including communication delays on our end, last minute planning shifts, and a vision that all came together in the final days leading up to the event. We got her on board maybe two months before the big day, and she was ready to jump right in with us! Jackie is a bubbly personality who is readily available when you need her. She centers the bride and groom throughout the entire process, making stressful moments feel easy, because as you get inundated with 100 opinions, she's simply there to hear and honor YOURS. She dealt with vendor snaffus like a champion, I have every confidence there were things that occurred day of that we still have no clue about because she handled it behind the scenes and we never had to hear about it! Her daughter being her partner for the events was a huge asset, as they work as a seamless team with a dynamic and inherent understanding of what the other one needs in that moment. The decision to go with Jackie was easy, her enthusiasm was immediate and genuine. Unlike other potential planners we spoke with, one thing we most enjoyed was her "behind the scenes" attitude. While friendly, excited, and truly a huge fan of love and life partnership, she also maintained very clear professional boundary lines and put the professional relationship first. We feel a genuine kinship and respect blossomed (she's the best!!), but very much appreciated that she was there to do the job first and be friendly with us second. The team has an inventory you can pull from, which we did, and that helped us cut down on some one-time item costs as well (for example, we borrowed one of their letter boxes for guests to leave their envelopes)! Our vendors were already secured prior to connecting with Everlasting Moments, but if you're in the earlier stages of planning I would highly suggest bringing the team in to assist you. Based on our experience with their vendor relationships from our event, they would be a huge asset as you're navigating those handful of "big items" in your planning journey and making those first initial decisions. Everlasting Moments was a gigantic asset to our wedding weekend, worth every penny and then some. Their calm (and often time hilarious) demeanor really added to the entire weekend. Our hope is that every couple getting married has as much of a positive experience with their coordinator/planner as we did!
