We first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and we’re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.

We hired Lavender Crown Events for full planning. Michelle and Hannah were beneficial throughout our entire planning process providing advice and making suggestions to ensure our vendors and venue had the information they needed. They took care of tasks and worked with each vendor to ensure that we had a smooth wedding, and what a wedding it was! We felt so well taken care of throughout the entire process, and especially the few days up to and including our wedding day. We were so thankful to not have to worry about anything day-of and had a wedding making amazing memories! Michelle had a fantastic and detailed timeline and her expertise and know-how made it so our vendors had an easy time working with each other! We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

We are SO appreciative of the Mooi team for all of their hard work in making our wedding day run as perfectly as it did. We were lucky to work with Mara, who is absolutely the best. Throughout the planning process Mara went above and beyond. She is supportive, calm, and super responsive. Our families were blown away by her thorough timelines and attention to detail. She patiently helped us understand the logistics and double checked everything to ensured there were no holes in our planning. Thank you!!!! It feels weird that we won't be in touch with Mara every day anymore, haha. We miss her already! The Mooi team helped us find a few additional team members. They recommended a bartender, Kaitlin, who was fantastic, and were able to find additional staff to support with some of our logistics. They also have a rental catalogue, which came in handy for a few last minute items (card box, frames for bar menus, etc.). Everything ran so smoothly on the day of the wedding (at least from our perspective)! We didn't have to worry about anything and were able to be fully present and enjoy the time with our friends and family. We're so appreciative of the Mooi team.

But let's face it, planning can take a sharp turn to feelings of stress and being overwhelmed in an instant. When I started to feel this way I reached out to my sister in law for desperate advice. She started by telling me how her parents paid thousands of dollars for this big beautiful wedding and expected her to implement every agenda item a wedding event could hold. She felt ok about it all until the wedding day arrived. She found herself running around managing guests, vendors, bridal party, and handling any issues that would arise before the ceremony and during the reception. She was so busy making sure her own wedding day was on track she missed enjoying it all. So her advice to me was to type out a timeline of the day and hand it over to someone I trusted to take it from there. To sit back, relax, and let myself be an honored guest at my own wedding. And this is exactly what I did. We employed Amanda and handed over our precious timeline of events that encompassed our wedding day running as planned. I am wholeheartedly convinced that the success of my wedding going so smoothly is due in large part to Amanda. My guests were happy, I was happy and Amanda looked happy. Because of her, I was able to be mentally and emotionally present for one of the biggest days of my life. She took care of everything, she took care of us. We could not have asked for a better team to coordinate our unique wedding ceremony that was a surprise to our guests. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together. Thanks to PU for what they promised, perfection.

While working an event, by the end of the night, everyone was calling me "Mom" because I was there for whatever they needed and it made us all laugh. In looking back at these moments and the feedback from my past clients and colleagues, it makes me proud to think that "everyone needs a Bradie." Everyone needs that person who will support them, hype them up, keep them on track, and be your advocate. In life, that person is likely your partner.

Bradie is an absolutely incredible wedding coordinator! I had not even hired her yet and she was helping me find vendors (who we also hired). Even our photographer, who had never worked with Bradie before, said she was the best he had ever had the pleasure of working with. Bradie works with you early to make sure you are on track and helps with any questions that come up. As the wedding got closer, Bradie took on communicating and organizing with my other vendors. Any bump in the plan that came up, she was on it to make sure it was resolved. If any detail was stressing me out, Bradie, took it on no problem. She was usually already working on it by the time I asked. The day of coordination was flawless. I didn't really have to think of a thing, I just got to have fun and enjoy the big day. It's 8 million percent worth it to have Bradie as your coordinator.

I met Christina at a Bridal Expo and was amazed with the offered Day Of Coordination package. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.

Talk about making the impossible, possible! I had worked with MVW Events to plan a surprise engagement picnic for my then girlfriend, now wife. Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. MVW helped me set the vision for the picnic and coordinated sourcing vendors for the right deals on items that would make the moment extra special. With all the details in place, I was confident in what we had planned and was actually less nervous about the whole bended knee thing because of it. Fast forward to the day of and guess what ... It RAINED!! so the park area I had in mind did not allow folks on the grass after fresh rain so we had to change plans on the fly. Morgan and her super creative brain proposed she and her team set up everything in my apartment instead. That way we could have everything we needed for the occasion within arms reach. She even secretly met me while I was out with my partner at a school event to grab my apartment keys and head over to set everything up while I was out. When we got home, when I say the place looked like MAGIC!! We were both blown away (but of course I had an idea of what to expect). And of course, it went perfectly from there. I started in the wedding industry when I found bridal world in 2018. Building a career in bridal brought me back to Los Angeles from Seattle, back to family and into a world where I could immerse myself in all things bridal and weddings. We hired Serenity Weddings for our wedding last year, and it was the best decision we made for the day. We opted for the month-of package. We knew that we wanted to design our wedding ourselves to make it unique to our love story, but that we didn't have time the month of the wedding to add all of the last minute coordinating between the vendors to our workload. Desiree met with us mid-planning process to do a walk-through of the venue and get an idea of what we had planned for our day. She gave tons of helpful tips and truly made sure that she understood our vision. The month of the wedding she coordinated between all the vendors to make sure that everything was covered. Thank goodness! Turns out we forgot to order bathrooms since we were at a house, even though we didn't want people going into the home. She saved the day and made sure that we got an extra generator from the rental company to supply the power. On the day of the wedding she arrived ahead of the first vendor and made sure that everything was perfect. And if it wasn't, we never knew! All of our family and friends got to enjoy our wedding with us, without having to worry about how everything was going, all thanks to Serenity Weddings. I also worked with Desiree for my bridal styling, choosing the Final Touches package. Finding my dress was easy, but the endless choices for everything else was daunting. She helped me choose the perfect hairstyle and makeup combo for my enchanted look, and the accessories she chose were just the right touch.

As a wedding photographer I feel like I can confidently say that it’s rare to find a coordinator as amazing as Emily! The amount of work she puts into weddings is beyond anything I’ve seen from other coordinators, and on top of that she is such a fun and easygoing person to work with. Before we even met I remember emailing back and forth with Emily and just thinking “wow this lady is doing sooo much for this couple” and it showed through on their wedding day. The details, vendors, and the couple’s vision for the day totally came across flawlessly and I know the bride and groom were absolutely thrilled with the way their day ran. One of my favorite things about Emily is that she is so willing to work with other vendors. Coordinators are typically the ones calling ALL the shots for a wedding (other than the bride, of course) so it’s not uncommon for coordinators to ignore requests from other vendors. This is not the case with Emily. Not only did she want to hear from me about what I thought would work for the photo timeline, she also listened to my suggestions over a phone call and implemented them! Alexa was a calming voice the day of the wedding and it was comforting to have her able to handle it all without a hitch. She organized everything and was making sure we were on schedule. We had a bit of a timing delay and she wasted no time in getting things moved along so that we could finish up getting amazing photos and get to our guests at the cocktail reception. I was apprehensive about paying a planner for something I truly believed I could do. Later than I'd like to admit, I became overwhelmed and seriously behind as the actual day neared. I was referred to Nina by my fiancé's friend [note that my fiancé was so over me planning the wedding me on my own]. I had fun on my day, I was relaxed and look like I was truly enjoying our day in ALL the photos. Adding that Nina also flew in a DJ from Miami who I was and am a fan of. I thought it would be a gazillion dollars, but it was just a little bit more than the local DJs. Her industry experience def gives her an edge and made us look super cool.

Hello! My name is Kaci Danae Peel and I can't wait to meet and talk about your upcoming wedding day! ​ I grew up surrounded by strong women with high ambitions to make their small businesses successful in the hospitality industry. They were restaurant owners, bakers, caterers, and florists, and seeing their dreams come to life has lead me to pursue my own small business as a Day of Wedding Coordinator. After working in hospitality for 2 years as a Wedding Coordinator at a Westin hotel, Covid put a pause to my hotel weddings and fueled my fire to continue pursuing my passion of weddings by starting Kaci Danae Events.

We had a pretty elaborate wedding at Children's Fairyland in Oakland - with a choreographed dance, the bride sang a song with the band, had a DJ with two setups, we brought our own florals and booze, had a unique centerpiece for every table, location changes for the bar, and had a pretty tight timeline, and Kaci made the day absolutely perfect and magical! She came to our house, loaded everything up, and dropped it back off at our house that same night, coordinated with all of our vendors ahead of time and day, and made everything seamless. She also has a calm about her that would make the most anxious bride or groom feel at ease. We cannot recommend her enough - thank you, Kaci!!! I hope we can utilize her services again someday and maybe even just hang out with her, because she's great!

Kayce is an excellent wedding coordinator! Our special day ran so smoothly because of how prepared she helped us be. From the very beginning Kayce was very professional. She was timely with emails, texts and in person meetings, was always a great listener and she’s hilarious (you need a good laugh when planning things like this!) Every worry I had with the overwhelming process was put at ease with Kayce and I was able to focus on being excited about marrying the love of my life. She put all of our needs and wants in the forefront and I really felt like she was doing everything possible to give us the wedding we had hoped for. Kayce walked us through all the last minute planning phases, gave us sample timelines, coordinated with all of our other vendors and prepared them with our timelines and expectations. The day of, she coordinated everything top to bottom (she even did some impromptu decorating and table setting) and I can't explain in words how wonderful it was to enjoy my wedding without having to worry if any hiccups were going on around me (and there were, and I had no idea until we laughed about it the next day!) Kayce went above and beyond to make our day about US and I am so thankful te have had her there with us. With Kayce, we didn't feel like clients, we felt like close friends! Kayce is the way to go!

Cassandra is stellar at what she does. She makes your wedding a work of art, from the big things that need to be done down to the tiniest details. Her table designs are absolutely stunning. 2 Friends Events was established in 2010 by...2 Friends! Lindsey and I met as co-maids of honor in our friend Wendi's wedding. We loved working together, so we decided to take a chance and start our own event planning company. Lindsay has since retired to be with her family and I now run 2 Friends Events with the help of my amazing team.

There is no question that choosing 2 Friends Events as our wedding planner was the best decision we made throughout the process. (And of course, we made a lot of other smart and delightful decisions thanks to the 2FE team!) From our first call through the week after our wedding, Nichole and her team provided us constant support, seamless logistics and research, and brought so much joy to the planning process. As our planner, Nichole listened, helped keep us focused on what we said was important to us, and was always five steps ahead with her proactivity and organization. And my goodness, did she bring our vision to life!
