While you are getting ready, as the nerves creep up, as you drive up to the venue (or whatever version of those moments are for you). Of course she was professional and delivered gorgeous pictures at the end of it, but she was a calm presence. My husband and I both hate pictures of ourselves and loved the moments she captured, again - she put us at ease! She flittered away at points, and when I got the pictures back wondered where/when was this? How did she get this shot? Overall we told her to focus on the after party portion and I still look back at the pictures and remember that conversation and the reason we were all laughing. One other note - we had an outdoor wedding and she worked with ease and swiftness getting all the obligatory family shots as the sun was setting without a sweat! They all looked amazing too!”

“We used Corey for our wedding and engagement pictures. We worked with him for several months and he was always super responsive and clear with expectations, pricing, and giving us ideas. The whole process was made super easy. We knew what his vision was and how to help execute it to get the best results. Expectations for the events were also made clear and put into writing which was nice. Corey also met with us remotely and in person to discuss, always making himself available with our busy schedules. The day of the wedding he arrived ahead of schedule to set up and scope out the venue. All the pictures we wanted were taken, he also captured incredible photos throughout the day which told a story of the wedding. This included us getting ready, setting up the venue, ceremony, reception, and first dances. All the little moments that make the day special are now captured in photos. Looking back through the photos, we're able to recount what we were doing and we just couldn't stop smiling. Kaitlin immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple. Photographers can be very expensive, especially for weddings, and I found her packages very reasonably priced, and her turnaround was incredible. 10/10 would recommend. Soon after, as two very young humans (21 and 23), we were married. As newlyweds we set off on an adventure, kayaking from Maine to Key West. On that trip, we realized how much we valued spending all our time together and being in charge of our schedule. This business is how we live out that dream.

Our wedding was a large one, so Chris hired a fantastic second lead photographer and several other photographers throughout the day so our event was seamlessly captured!
