I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. What started as disposable cameras at camp grew into film camera and darkroom classes, being the class historian and yearbook photographer in high school, all the way to studying photojournalism in college. After college I started shooting weddings. After moving to Maine I started shooting small businesses, and because I practically live in a National Park, a lot of families. Ive been shooting weddings for over 10 years, but I'm also a gardener and I cook and serve for a catering company.

    Beautiful soul and beyond talented!

    Not only is Kristin an incredibly talented photographer, but she is an amazing soul to walk through your wedding day with. You don't think about it, but you are around the photographer a lot of the time! While you are getting ready, as the nerves creep up, as you drive up to the venue (or whatever version of those moments are for you). Of course she was professional and delivered gorgeous pictures at the end of it, but she was a calm presence. My husband and I both hate pictures of ourselves and loved the moments she captured, again - she put us at ease! She flittered away at points, and when I got the pictures back wondered where/when was this? How did she get this shot? Overall we told her to focus on the after party portion and I still look back at the pictures and remember that conversation and the reason we were all laughing. One other note - we had an outdoor wedding and she worked with ease and swiftness getting all the obligatory family shots as the sun was setting without a sweat! They all looked amazing too!

Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll receive your full album digitally, 4-6 weeks after your wedding, but I always try to get them out sooner.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
