Event nannying is a specialized childcare service that provides professional, engaging care for children during weddings and other events. Often, this includes care for family stays in hotels or Airbnb rentals. Unlike traditional babysitting, event nannying is designed around the unique needs of an event, often caring for multiple children while coordinating activities, maintaining routines, and providing supervision. Couples can even offer event nannying to guests, allowing parents to fully enjoy the celebration knowing their children are safe and well cared for. This can create a more inclusive and stress-free experience for everyone!

We are an open and affirming, Queer-owned event childcare business with more than 14 years of professional childcare experience. Miss Gwen and all other nannies who work with us are CPR/First Aid certified, allergen-aware, and always carry a first-aid kit for peace of mind. Description

This stay-and-play care package is ideal for a family that needs care within a home, hotel, or Airbnb. The focus of this package is adapting to children's needs while maintaining routine, whether they are from a different time zone, have a hard time separating from family, or just need a little more attention; we do it all and can focus all our attention on your children with this package. This package starts at $40/hour

Elm Experience

Description

This package is ideal for a family that only needs care at an event venue. We handle it all. Our focus is on safety, minimizing interruptions, helping children adjust during transitions, and meeting the needs of all "Mini Makers" and "Mini Movers" alike. Hosts, parents, and couples can sit back, relax, and enjoy the children incorporated in the ways they choose. This package starts at $100/hour

Amazing!
We hired Mini Makers & Movers Family and Event Nanny to watch our kids during the reception, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From our first conversation, the team showed they understood exactly what we needed and had the confidence to handle anything that came up. They came with great energy and connected with our boys right away, keeping them happy and entertained the entire night. What impressed us most was how detail-oriented they were about everything—from the kids' schedules to adapting on the fly when plans shifted. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our celebration knowing the kids were in such capable hands. We can't recommend them enough!

Quality Childcare
Amazing childcare from a quality person, I would and have trusted her with care of all of my children which is not something I take lightly. I'm confident in her ability to handle any situation that may arise (and believe me my kids test that!)

Gwen is amazing!
Gwen has taken care of my children multiple times and my whole family loves her! She always brings a book to read or toys to play with, which greatly eases the transition of me leaving. She treats my kids with such kindness and respect, always checking in with them gently and ensuring they have what they need to be happy. She even writes down stories my older child narrates! And organizes the baby’s toy shelf! My kids love Gwen and are always happy when she comes to play!

Wonderful, caring sitter
We hired Gwen from Mini Makers & Movers Family and Event Nanny to watch the kids, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. From start to finish, scheduling with her was simple—she was always quick to respond and transparent about her availability. Gwen arrived ready to go and the kids barely noticed when parents left. Gwen’s the best!
Gwen was so thoughtful when it came to our 2 three year olds. She asked about routines, allergies, and is so good with them. You can tell she is very experienced and goes above beyond every single time. She cleaned dishes they used for meals, she picked up around their play area, and she engages with our kids without relying on screen time. I would highly recommend her time and time again.
