We were married within 3 months of our first date. “When you know, you know”, they say, and when we knew we wed. Something we bonded over early on was our love for traveling with cameras. After our San Diego courthouse-by-the-sea elopement, we turned our passion for photography into a business. We are both full-time photographers, and we're constantly working to better our craft. We are lucky enough to document weddings of all kinds, from 3 person cliffside sunrise elopements to an intimate mountainside microweddings to larger all-day bashes at one of Maine's beautiful hotels.

We live on Mount Desert Island year round and are in Acadia every day (we have to drive through part of it to get groceries or get our kids to school!). We've seen MDI in all seasons and all weather, and we love getting to know as much of the park as possible so we can help you select the perfect timing and location for your big day. We've shot at most of the beautiful venues on the island and have built relationships with vendors here, so we're happy to help you craft your day beyond just taking photos. We can't wait to work with you!

Dream Photos from a Dream Day!

From the moment we met Brian for our engagement shoot in downtown Bar Harbor, we knew we had found the perfect photographer. We aren’t naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but Brian made us feel completely at ease, like we were just hanging out with a friend who happened to have a camera. When our wedding day arrived, we were lucky enough to have both Brian and Laurel capturing every moment, and they were absolutely incredible. They blended seamlessly into our day, capturing everything with such authenticity and care. Our photos are stunningly natural, emotional, and full of life. We’re completely obsessed! One of the most unforgettable parts of our day was sending our guests on a two-hour boat cruise for cocktail hour while we explored Acadia with Brian, chasing the most magical light and scenery. It felt like a dream, and the photos prove it. Aquadro Photography didn’t just document our wedding; they elevated the entire experience. We’re so grateful and can’t recommend them highly enough!!

I reached out to Brian and Laurel about doing our wedding photos and they were very quick to answer and help me out. We discussed everything I might want for my photos and they made sure to exceed my expectations. We live 14 hours away from Acadia where we wanted to get married and they were so helpful with getting everything in line for me. They created a time schedule for photos, recommended places locally for dinner. We spent the day with Brian and we both felt so comfortable with him. He did an amazing job and made sure to go above and beyond for our wedding day. I could not be happier with the sneak peak photos we have already gotten and I know the rest will be amazing! I highly recommend them for anyone looking to have photos done.

Hiring Aquadro Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Laurel and Brian were responsive, organized, and an absolute joy to work with. From start to finish, they exceeded all our expectations. Laurel went above and beyond by helping us choose the perfect ceremony location in Acadia National Park. She guided us to a breathtaking spot where we exchanged vows amidst majestic cliffs and the soothing sounds of crashing ocean waves. Throughout the day, she led us to various stunning locations within the park, including the serene beauty of Eagle Lake and the lush greenery of forest trails. Thanks to her expertise, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquility of Acadia, and now we have photos that beautifully capture every moment. Laurel also assisted us in creating a solid rain plan, which thankfully we didn't need, alleviating any weather-related stress. We were thrilled to receive sneak peek photos within a day of our wedding, and the full gallery was delivered so quickly. Laurel and Brian captured our wedding ceremony in Acadia National Park perfectly and were wonderful to work with. They made sure to meet with us prior to our wedding day to pick a location for the ceremony and photos afterwards. They knew the area so well and were professional, kind and helpful during the entire process. We would 100% recommend Aquadro Photography!
