Natural, documentary, photojournalistic. Real, raw, candid. We’re not going for any stiff prom poses here. I like to capture the day as it is and to document it as it unfolds. I never want to force anything, but I step in and direct where needed. Being in front of the camera isn’t my favorite thing either. I will be here to guide you and prompt you the whole way, I promise.

I think the wedding industry has really lost touch with what wedding days are actually about. I’m talking both vendors and couples. It kills me. I’ve worked for many money-hungry photographers lacking compassion and empathy. I’ve captured many days where my couple has been pulled in a million different directions- trying to please everyone and create the best event they can that they forget their day is actually supposed to be about them. I care about documenting your MEMORIES and capturing every raw emotion. Because that’s what it’s truly about.

Amazing photographer!
We had an incredible experience working with Jenna Cavanaugh Photography from start to finish. Before our wedding day, Jenna reached out to ask about all the details that mattered to us, which made us feel heard and prepared. During the ceremony and reception, she captured everything without getting in our way—we barely noticed her behind the camera. Her photos came back stunning and we had them in our hands faster than we expected. Jenna has a real gift for freezing those moments that make your day feel special, and her work is worth every penny. We'd recommend her to any couple looking for a photographer who actually listens and delivers amazing results.

5 stars is not enough!
We had the absolute best experience working with Jenna! From the very beginning at our engagement shoot, Jenna made us feel so comfortable that we genuinely couldn’t wait to work with her again. She has such a calming, patient presence that immediately puts you at ease, and she is incredibly professional and kind. On our wedding day, Jenna went above and beyond to make sure we got every photo we had hoped for. She was so attentive and intentional, really listening to what was important to us and making it happen seamlessly. At the same time, she captured so many beautiful, candid moments we never would have thought to ask for—those in-between, emotional shots that bring us right back to the day. Her work is truly AMAZING! We find ourselves looking through our photos often, and we are so happy with how they turned out. She captured everything so beautifully and authentically. Our friends and family have all complimented her work and continue to rave about how stunning our photos are. We are beyond grateful to have had Jenna as part of our day and would recommend her to anyone looking for not only incredible photos, but also a wonderful, thoughtful person to work with!

Jenna was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From our first interaction, Jenna was professional, responsive, and thoughtful in her communication. Her talented artistic eye and down to earth approach shone through in the comprehensive set of photos she captured that truly reflected the vibe of our wedding and felt authentic to our relationship. Hire Jenna! That's it, that's the review
My husband and I got married in July 2025 and hired Jenna for our wedding photography needs. From beginning to end she was our favorite vendor to work with (along with a literal family friend, which should speak to how amazing Jenna is). Kind, punctual, and so clear that she deeply cares about her craft. She gave us a great mix of posed and candid shots – our gallery was expansive and not a single shot was wasted. I also appreciated how she moved at our pace to capture our day perfectly down to the details. We look at our photos still six months later with a huge smile on our faces. Thank you Jenna!

Best photographer ever!
Jenna Cavanaugh Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day! From the very beginning, Jenna's easy-going and personable communication style put us at ease.
