I'm Alyssa, a Boston based wedding photographer who shoots all over Maine, Rhode Island, The Hudson Valley and New York City. I feel so lucky to photograph weddings. It’s an honor to be invited into the quiet, behind-the-scenes moments that make the day so personal—those shared just with family and the closest friends. I don’t take that role lightly and feel privileged to document those intimate pieces of the story.

I take modern photos for future nostalgia. I aim to capture weddings in all their wild, bold, and beautiful joy. I want you to look at your photos and feel like you're back in it, popping champagne, kissing on the beach, saying I do. I aim to be 1 part editorial photographer and 3 parts candid journalist so you get all the shots, from those beautifully posed couples portraits, to those fleeting moments caught on photo that capture all the big emotions. My photos are vibrant, emotional, colorful, and fun, just like the couples who chose to work with me.

    The greatest Wedding Photographer ever!

    We were fortunate enough to work with Alyssa for both our small elopement ceremony and our wedding reception party. Two very different visions and she beyond crushed both. Our pictures are more than I could have hoped for. Beyond being thrilled with her vision and talent, she made everyone in our life comfortable and was the best director ever. I am not an expert, but her talent with flash photography and eye for color is amazing. I cannot wait to find excuses to work with Alyssa in the future!

    Can't recommend Alyssa enough!

    Alyssa was an amazing photographer to work with. From the start she was great to bounce ideas off of and we trusted her completely with our vision. She has a really great energy that put us and our entire wedding party at ease, and made our portrait and family shoots so comfortable. The photos of our ceremony and reception turned out beautifully! If you want a slightly more unique vibe for your photos, with visual interest, movement, and drama, then Alyssa is the photographer for you.

    Alyssa Blumstein or bust!

    So intuitive and fun!

    Alyssa’s hilarious and warm communication style immediately put us at ease. She was able to translate my scattered thoughts into exactly what I wanted. Her custom book layout was also a huge hit with our whole family. Highly recommend!

I always send 10 sneak peak images within 48 hours of your wedding. That way you can post on social and announce to friends. The rest of your images are available within 6 weeks of your wedding date, edited, color corrected, and available in an online gallery. From there you can, share, download, mark images as private, and print. Some of my packages offer a complimentary lay flat, heavy weight album. This is also something that can be added to a package if it isn't already included.
It all depends on the size of your event and your needs. I've shot dozens upon dozens of weddings solo, and I've also worked with a handful of trusted assistants who I love. When you book with me we will discuss all the details of your wedding day and hear about what your hopes and dreams are for documentation. I can then share my thoughts on whether a second shooter would be a great addition.
Of course I do! If your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
You bet! An engagement shoot is included in most of my packages.
I don't. Still photography is my jam and it's my full focus on your wedding day. I do work with a know a handful of cool wedding videographers I'm happy to connect couples with.
