I'm a Boston based wedding photographer and filmmaker with over a decade of experience. Evans Studio it's not just about getting a nice shot - it's about telling a story, it's about diving into the heart of your big day and becoming part of the action. We are a mix of elegant, editorial style as well as documentary and authentic.
What sets Evans Studio apart is our unique blend of elegance, authenticity, and storytelling. Starting as a fashion photographer in Europe, we bring a sophisticated touch to every shoot. We also incorporate 35mm film photography for a timeless, nostalgic feel. Plus, we offer photo + video packages for a seamless experience, ensuring every moment is captured. So Grateful We Chose Max!
We had such a great experience with Max from Evans Studio! From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and confident that our wedding memories were in good hands. On our wedding day, Max and Violet were both amazing to work with; professional, easygoing, and so easy to have around during such a busy and emotional day. Max was great at keeping things moving while still allowing us to actually enjoy the moment, and we never felt awkward or overly posed in front of the camera. He captured so many important moments throughout the day, and we truly appreciated the care and effort he put into documenting our wedding. Professional, adaptable and skilled team
We first chatted with Max over Facetime and based on his cool, confident personality, we knew he would be able to do an outstanding job with our Boston Desi-American fusion wedding. His style of photography and editing stood out from the scores of photographers we were picking from on IG. Max worked closely with me (the bride) to coordinate themes, vibes, outfits, and location for our engagement photoshoot. While we were a whole hour late to our shoot because of Boston traffic, he was extremely kind and accommodating, making the most out of the situation and still delivering amazing photos. When I received the photos from him, my husband and I were blown away – he did some stunning portraits of myself, as well as gorgeous shots of us as a couple. We then coordinated wedding details – we opted for a video and photo package. Max’s team was so professional and knew where to situate themselves throughout the day once I gave them my schedule for the day – from Bridal gowngetting readyjewlery details, First Look, Bridal party portraits, Family portraits, solos, ceremony shots, cocktail hour, all the way to reception and EVERYTHING in between. The day was full of surprises and delays (as are most wedding days with lots of family and moving parts) but Max and his team DID NOT MISS A BEAT. They managed my bridal groom party with ease, and rallied everyone necessary for all the requested photos. Do I need to mention the beautiful final shots? We will forever cherish these photos and video. Thanks so much Evans Studio!
