We are the Boston based team! Alea means ascending, and Alea Beauty Boston is all about helping you reach that next level and feel your most fabulous! We are a luxury hair and makeup service that specializes in onsite styling for weddings, lifestyle, and special events. Our award winning team of professional hair and makeup artists will work with you to create a custom look to best compliment your natural beauty.
Alea brings a calm curated energy to the getting ready process. Our team of award winning stylists and artists have a strong background in their craft which allows for beauty with intension. Every look that is designed is tailored. We specialize in naturally elevated beauty that photographs beautifully, wears comfortably, all while still feeling like you. Looking pretty
From our first conversation with Alea Beauty Boston, we knew we were in good hands. They were open and honest about what they could do for us, answered every question quickly, and made the whole planning process feel easy. Week of the wedding there needed to be a swap in artists and they were able to make it happen. On the day of the wedding, the girls looked awesome and they made our vision come to life without any stress. Everyone in our bridal party felt beautiful and confident, which is exactly what we needed. The team showed up prepared and professional, and honestly, it made such a difference in how we felt getting ready. My hair held until dress change which was a big relief. We would absolutely recommend Alea Beauty Boston to any couple looking for talented beauty professionals who truly care about making your day special.

The team at Alea Beauty Boston was great to work with! Kari is super responsive and helpful in scheduling trials and day-of services. She was happy to get me booked even though I was doing a small wedding and only needed bridal hair and services, while other vendors turned me away because I didn’t meet their minimums. My artist, Laman, was kind, highly skilled, and made the morning of my wedding day super enjoyable! I loved the final hair and makeup, it was exactly the natural look I was hoping for!

Beautiful work and so receptive to feedback
Highly recommend Kari! As two women who don't wear makeup very often, we were looking for someone who could make us feel glamorous without losing ourselves in the process. She listened to our feedback completely and delivered the perfect look. We felt so beautiful and confident and she was a joy to hang with the morning of our wedding. Our makeup withstood dance floor sweat and happy tears and was still looking great at the end of the night.
