Homeblown Lux was established to bring blowout and makeup artistry to our clients who preferred the comfort of their own homes versus the chaos of the busy salon. As our clients started to spread the word, we quickly discovered the demand for the same, but for weddings! We have established a professional and experienced team of artists who share a profound passion for client satisfaction and creativity. We have seen brides and newlyweds from all ethnicities and cultures, and pride ourselves on the relationships we’ve built over the course of our business.
Homeblown Lux has established an unwavering reputation for “luxurious convenience” for all your bridal events. Our clients choose us for engagement photos, dress shopping, bachelorette events, bridal shower, wedding, and post nuptials. We hold true to our “no minimum” service and will not allow a bride and her loved ones to feel undeserving of special treatment due to an intimate gathering.

Amazing team from start to finish!
Working with Homeblown Lux was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Jenny and Britt made me feel absolutely beautiful, and Nadia did an incredible job getting my bridesmaids and mom ready too. On the morning of my wedding, I got some unexpected emotional video from my late grandmother and ended up in tears right after finishing my hair and makeup, but the whole team handled it with so much grace and kindness. They calmed me down, fixed everything perfectly, and never made me feel rushed or stressed. Their communication was clear and professional throughout the planning process, and their work was thorough and timely. I couldn't have asked for a better team to be part of my special day!

Wedding hair and makeup
I used Homeblown Lux to do hair and makeup for my wedding and was really happy with team! Brittney is so kind and has an incredibly soft touch. I came in with ideas about the look I wanted, and together we modified them to create a look that fit my face, my features (I have hooded eyes), and the impression I wanted to go for. I have super sensitive eyes but she took her time and made sure that everything was perfect for me. I have very fine, very thin hair but somehow Jeffrey was able to give it enough volume that I didn't need any hair extensions in my ponytail! Very impressive. The team also showed up early on the day of the wedding, and got through everyone's hair and makeup on time without delays. Thank you Homeblown Lux!!

Natural Makeup and Easygoing Attitude
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jen from Homeblown Lux! She was amazing to work with—super flexible, calm, and honest throughout the whole process. On the day of our wedding, it was nearly 100% humidity, so we had to pivot last minute to an updo. Jen handled it effortlessly, creating something beautiful on the spot based on a few inspiration photos I showed her. She really listened to me about wanting to look like myself and not feel overdone, and she nailed it. Jen also helped me apply my false lashes, adjust my veil, and made sure everything felt comfortable and natural. I decided to get ready solo (without family or a wedding party) because I knew a busy room would feel overstimulating, and Jen was so understanding and supportive—she even welcomed friends who stopped by to say hello in between. Her warmth and presence were such a calm anchor that morning, and as a sweet touch, she even gave me a lipstick to reapply throughout the day. I’m so grateful for her professionalism, artistry, and kindness. Thank you, Jen!

Incredible Service, Standout Wedding Vendor
The team at Homeblown Lux was an absolute dream to work with! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make me feel cared for and confident. I first found them through Zola and was immediately relieved that they offered bride-only hair services—something surprisingly rare, since most vendors required large group minimums. Their pricing was also refreshingly clear and straightforward: one simple rate with gratuity included, no hidden fees, no runaround. After calling multiple local salons and getting nothing but vague “it depends” answers, the transparency from Homeblown Lux was such a breath of fresh air and gave me instant peace of mind. What meant the most, though, was that even though I wasn’t booking a big bridal party package, I was treated like the most important client in the world. That kind of genuine care is rare, and it stood out immediately. When it came to my trial, I’ll admit I felt a little uncertain. I had chosen a half-up, half-down style I wasn’t used to seeing on myself, and the curls didn’t hold as long as I hoped. But that’s exactly why trials are so valuable—I realized I wanted a completely different look. What truly impressed me was how Homeblown Lux handled my concerns. Jenny, the owner, personally called me back and took the time to really listen. She was warm, thoughtful, and reassuring, and she worked with me to come up with the perfect solution: glamorous Hollywood waves, worn fully down. From there, the communication was phenomenal. My stylist, Jeffrey, reached out right away to walk me through the plan. He asked detailed questions, encouraged me to send inspiration photos, and explained different options (like extensions) without any pressure. I ended up getting extensions, and Jeffrey even recommended affordable ones from Amazon that worked beautifully. Both he and Jenny checked in along the way, and I always felt completely supported. The weekend of the wedding, I had also booked a blowout but realized at the last minute the timing wouldn’t work. Jenny instantly pivoted, arranging for a stylist to come onsite with less than a day’s notice. Cheressa showed up cheerful and professional, fully briefed by Jeffrey so she could prep my hair perfectly for the next day. Again—I felt so well taken care of. And then, the wedding day itself. Jeffrey was everything you’d hope for in a wedding stylist: punctual, calm, and reassuring. He worked seamlessly alongside my makeup artist, created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere (I even wrote my vows while in his chair!), and styled my hair with absolute artistry. The final look was stunning—elegant waves that held beautifully from morning until the very end of the night. I received endless compliments and truly felt like the best version of myself. If you’re searching for wedding beauty services, look no further than Homeblown Lux. Their combination of talent, professionalism, and genuine care is unmatched. I only wish I lived closer so I could see them regularly—because this team is simply the best!

Magical Experience!
We had the pleasure of working with Jeffery and Cheressa! They were an absolute breath of fresh air, and both amazing at their crafts! My mother and I went for a trial a few weeks prior, and both saw our visions, ran with them and exceeded our expectations. The day before the wedding Jeffrey gave me the absolute best blowout of my entire life, and the day of the wedding made me feel and look like a true like Disney princess! Would recommend again and again! They truly are a magical team!
