The KnightCo. Events team was absolutely incredible from the beginning to the end. My venue required us to have a coordinator, but I was really skeptical about whether I needed one. Now that I've gone through the entire process, I can confidently say yes, you do need one, and yes, it should be KnightCo. Events! Chynna was always available to answer my questions in the months leading up to my destination wedding. She was actively engaged in every meeting with our venue, even the early morning ones with a 3 hour time difference. Once the package officially kicked in 6 weeks out, KCE took over all of the communication with vendors, which allowed me to take a break from the planning. It was hard for me to give up control, but it was ultimately worth it, especially as we got closer to the wedding day. When one of our vendors was 2 hours late on the day of the wedding, Chynna stepped in and was able to clear everything up within minutes of me notifying her. Chynna felt like another one of my best friends on the wedding day—there to offer me lipstick, a makeup pad, stain remover... she had literally anything I could need and offered it before I even knew that I needed it! Everything stayed on schedule and she checked in with us often but discreetly to make sure we had everything we needed. And the next day as we were already buzzing with excitement, she surprised us with a behind the scenes gallery of photos and videos that allowed us to relive our perfect day. I can't say enough great things about this team. Absolutely no regrets about booking with KnightCo. Events!

Theresa was absolutely amazing! She coordinated and decorated our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The decorations were better than we could have envisioned and our timeline was smooth sailing. I have catered weddings and almost every wedding had some hitch but ours did not. Theresa was prepared for every second but was also flexible as needed. She made the day stress free and was a comfort in the process. Her communication, professionalism, warmth, and preparedness was over a five star! You do not realize how much goes into planning a wedding until you start planning one and without Theresa many things would have been missed, things as simple as what drinks will you be drinking out of to important things like who is cutting your cake after the feeding of the cake. We never had to worry about missing something or forgetting something because Theresa was knowledgeable about the order and process of wedding planning. If you ask she will tell you how things are done traditionally but she is open to make any changes and will help you figure out what works best for you. I could not recommend her more! I wish we had all of our wedding photos back to give more examples of the beautiful decorating she does!

I hired this company based on their online reviews. I spoke with Alex and she walked me through what they offer and the steps that would take place after I booked. I went with the all-inclusive package but I booked my own venue. Once we have them as our planners it was so much easier and fun and I didn't have to stress about anything. They were all available when I had questions and I do like that they have an online portal with you can communicate directly on as well as text questions to the team if needed. The managed all my vendors which were all great. Had a small issue with catering forgetting something we ordered but it was not a huge deal and we were refunded back the money the next day. Overall, I would definitely hire them again and recommend to my family and friends.

She helped us with the searches for everything—venue, DJ, photography, day-of coordination, flowers, catering—and provided us timelines and organization tools that were genuinely invaluable. We had very little idea going in exactly what was needed to plan a wedding, but Brittany’s collaboration made us feel very on top of things. She also worked with us to troubleshoot things when issues arose (like our flower provider not following some of our communication requests). Our best decision during our wedding planning phase was choosing Kayla as our wedding planner! Talk about a one woman show/power house! She made the whole process so much easier and took so much stress off our plates. Every vender that she booked for us was absolutely amazing! We first met Connie Clark when our daughter was organizing her wedding reception. At that time, Connie was involved with a startup venue that was undergoing renovations. To cut a long story short, around 7 PM the evening before our daughter's reception, it became clear that the venue was not prepared. When the venue manager was not responding to her calls, she rallied the group that was financing the remodeling project. By 10 PM, the lead investor instructed Connie to find an alternative location for the reception, which was scheduled for the following evening. Connie reached out to a nearby coffee shop/bar, explained the situation, and requested the on-duty manager to contact the owner to see if the reception could be held there. Shortly after, Connie received confirmation that the reception would take place at the new venue. She informed the investment group about the change in location and began reorganizing for the new space. Our family learned of the change around 7:30 AM on the day of the reception, and once we gave our approval, Connie assembled a team and transformed the coffee house/bar into a beautiful reception hall. What Connie managed to coordinate and accomplish in such a brief period was truly remarkable.

Gabby from 'Cause We Can Events is the most wonderful, amazing, kind, and helpful person I've ever met. My husband and I hired Gabby for month of coordination for our wedding in January 2025. We touched base here and there as needed, met about 3 months out to run through what we'd put together so far, she put us in the direction of making the finishing touches, then we met again about a month out, then two weeks out. Over this time, Gabby was so helpful with suggestions, vendor help, coordinating schedules, and making sure the plan was perfect! What we didn't know is that a giant snowstorm would hit the weekend of our wedding. This made it crazy and stressful for all of us, but when I tell you Gabby was the most amazing with handling this... I mean it. She dealt with anything and everything such as rearranging tables due to guests who couldn't attend, helping schedule vendors at a time before or after snow, helping find ways for other vendors to get to the venue because of the snow, and literally everything else under the sun. We feel so blessed to have had Gabby from 'Cause We Can Events as our wedding planner, because I think without her, the entire day could have crumbled. She is welcoming and loving of all, firm and direct where she needs to be, and so incredibly organized! I would highly recommend her and anyone from the 'Cause We Can Events team for your wedding! After finding Black Orchid on our wedding planner's vendor shortlist, I am so, so happy we chose Black Orchid for our wedding. Even before we signed a contract, Heidi was so helpful in sharing experience and industry knowledge - my partner has worked in the restaurant industry and has been an amateur cocktail connoisseur since COVID times, and he felt so comfortable in their first meeting that we booked them immediately. Heidi was enthusiastic about planning our signature cocktails alongside us - even making a black walnut syrup from her own tree to use in our old-fashioned AND juicing carrots for my gin cocktail!! Helene hit a month before our scheduled wedding date, and (second to our venue - s/o Twisty Maple!!) Black Orchid was the vendor we knew we couldn't move forward without. Luckily, after communication was re-established, Heidi was flexible and we worked with her to reschedule. Once our second date got closer, my partner and I visited WNC to get back into the wedding spirit and Heidi and Tristen *came to our AirBnB* to sample our signature cocktails. They became fast friends and we chatted for hours! On our wedding day, it felt so special to have both Tristen and Heidi (as well as their staff) working our event. Professional and poised, they brought the perfect calm energy that we wanted to our small and personal celebration. I highly recommend reaching out to Black Orchid for your event. One thing that truly stood out was how they tracked flights for us, our wedding party, and our parents to make sure everyone arrived without issues. So I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this because my experience very easy and pleasant. I wasn’t left to plan my own wedding. The wedding planners here were very attentive and they basically helped me plan my wedding. Think of it like we planned my wedding together. The price was perfect too cause wedding planners are expensive. They even hooked me up with transportation and flowers for my wedding. Prestige Planning Co. was really great and I would recommend them to anyone.

We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!
