Hi! My name is Jess Hopkins, owner and founder of Say Yes With Jess Weddings. Say hello to your fun-loving, southern belle “fairy godmother.” Born just outside of beautiful Savannah, GA and raised in mountainesque Knoxville, TN, I have deep country roots and muddy water running through my veins. Growing up in such a magical setting made it quite easy to obsess over weddings. What can I say? I just LOVE love! However, it wasn’t until I moved to Nashville, TN in 2016 that I discovered my passion as a wedding planner. I started working as a lead planner with an event planning company and completely fell in love with the process.

Soon after, I married my amazing husband Cody and absolutely adored planning my own wedding. After a busy, crazy, eventful year, we relocated back to our hometown of Knoxville, TN. I couldn’t stop thinking about the job I left behind, so I took matters into my own hands. Thus, Say Yes With Jess Weddings was born! Being a wedding planner is more than creating a beautiful event, sticking to a timeline, and hanging pretty lights. For me, it’s about being a small part of a beautiful love story. With my help, your wedding will be the perfect beginning to your blissful, everlasting love.

Say Yes With Jess was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the very beginning, Jess treated our wedding as if it were just as important to her as it was to us. She is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted, and hardworking people you'll ever meet, and it's so obvious that she truly loves what she does and cares deeply about every couple she serves. I've known Jess since high school, so I can honestly speak to her character. She is exactly the same behind the scenes as she is with her clients: kind, trustworthy, organized, and someone who will go above and beyond without ever expecting recognition. She has an incredible ability to bring excitement and joy to every moment while also remaining calm, professional, and completely in control when it matters most. She thought through every detail, kept everything organized, and made sure nothing was overlooked. Because of her, I was able to be fully present and truly enjoy our wedding day, knowing everything was being handled. She anticipated needs before anyone even had to ask, solved problems before they became problems, and kept the entire day running seamlessly. One thing that really stood out was how highly every single one of our vendors spoke of Jess. Multiple vendors told us how wonderful she was to work with, and she even shared planning resources with them that they could use to better serve future couples. That speaks volumes about both her professionalism and her heart for this industry. Jess isn't in this business just to coordinate weddings. She's in it because she genuinely wants every couple to have the wedding they've always dreamed of. Her passion, dedication, and care shine through in everything she does, and she celebrates each couple as if they were family. Jess is the BEST
Jess not only met, but exceeded our expectations for a wedding planner! She was fantastic in helping us talk through and narrow down the vision for our wedding, and there was not a single detail she did not think of throughout the entire process. “Detail oriented” is an understatement to describe her abilities! There are so many elements that we never thought of prior to planning a wedding and Jess was prompt to take care of anything and everything that came our way! She always responded quickly to our questions and she remained diligent in making sure all vendors were accounted for, and kept us on schedule as we approached our date. While the day of a wedding is exciting, it can also be stressful and overwhelming. Jess did everything to make sure our wedding day was perfect, and even when things went wrong (which they will!) she handled it with so much grace we didn’t even know there was a problem to begin with. Jess was truly the best decision we made for our wedding and we could not recommend her enough!!

Would recommend!!
My husband and I booked Jess with her Day of Coordination package and we can not recommend her enough! From the very first consultation meeting, Jess was so excited to get to know us and help us with our big day. We had the honor of having Cassidy as our lead coordinator and she was PHENOMENAL!! She was so kind and invested in helping us make our day perfect. She helped us in the months coming up to our big day including our last detail meeting, rehearsal, and the wedding day. Cassidy truly was the superstar of our wedding day. She made sure that it was stress free for us and our wishes were kept exactly how we wanted. If you're thinking about booking with Jess, DO IT!
