It is a unique Vermont experience and the perfect setting for your special party. The downstairs is fully winterized and available for small winter weddings and parties.

“We couldn't have asked for a better experience with The Old Scott Barn. From our first conversation, Martin was responsive and genuinely excited to help us plan our day. He stayed flexible with our ideas while keeping everything organized and professional, which gave us confidence that our wedding would run smoothly. The space itself is breathtaking with those incredible views and rustic charm that made our celebration feel intimate yet grand. What really impressed us was how much we got for the price—a spacious venue with stunning backdrops without breaking the bank. Martin's kindness and laid-back approach made the whole planning process enjoyable, and we'd recommend The Old Scott Barn to any couple looking for an affordable, beautiful rustic setting.”

“The Tillerman has a whimsical, cozy, and quaint feel that you can't understand until you've been there. My husband and I had a date night at the Tillerman before deciding to make it our wedding venue for our 30-person wedding. Our wedding day was MAGICAL and we never wanted to leave the Inn. Our wedding day was rainy, but Mackenzie and her team made sure we got our outdoor "I do's" before taking cover in the barn for the rest of the evening. Mackenzie was such a breeze to communicate with leading up to the day and on the day. I am so grateful to have had her involved. I HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding.”

“Our wedding at Sugarbush was perfect. We worked with Carolann who was extremely easy to work with, professional, and made the day of feel completely seamless. We got married in the Claybrook courtyard, held cocktail hour outside Gatehouse, reception inside Gatehouse, and had an after party in the pub. Every detail was excellent - bar service, food, and the team's ability to bring my half baked vision to life. They handled all my questions, last minute requests, and day of coordination. We stayed on-site and our guests loved the hotel. The large suites were great for getting ready and hanging out post events. As the bride, all I had to do was show up where Carolann told me to be and I had the best day. I know there was a whole team working behind the scenes to make that possible and I am so grateful.”

“The Inn at the Round Barn Farm is one of the most magical places on the planet. We had our September 2026 wedding at the Round Barn and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The location, the beauty, the comfort, the service... all immaculate. We knew this is the venue we wanted from the minute we stepped foot on our tour in 2024. Fortunately, it lived up to all our expectations. The inn itself is clean and inviting. There's a variety of room styles - we had our immediate family stay here during wedding weekend and they all loved it. The unique decor makes for fun spots to do wedding photos too! Ashley, the innkeeper, just instantly becomes part of your family. She is kind and thoughtful and makes sure you have everything you need. For example, she made sure she had iced coffee for my fiancé and I before we arrived because she remembered from our tasting weekend we didn't do hot coffee. Also the breakfast and treats she makes is UNREAL - so yummy. I keep thinking about the maple yogurt bowls... Renee, the wedding coordinator is a force; she is exactly who you want running your big day. She is calm and easy to work with, while also running a tight ship and making sure you get everything you want. A few months out from our wedding, when we met and started working with Renee, so many of our lingering concerns just dissolved. She is ON IT. We really wanted a private breakfast the morning of our wedding to do private vows. We would've been fine with just a table... Renee went above and beyond to create a beautiful, romantic, private breakfast for us. This was one of the highlights of our entire wedding weekend. Ari, food and beverage manager, just simply makes your dreams come true without you having to do much. We gave her notes from our food tasting and general "vibes" for our signature cocktails and she just nailed it. She also does so much more for you than 'just' the food and drink. Her and Renee are a dynamic duo for all the things you need. I also just appreciated her ability to be fun and thoughtful during a weekend that had a lot of pressure on us. Food was really, really important to us. We wanted really extraordinary dinners for our guests. RBF nailed it. Guests were talking about the food all day and night. My friends are STILL talking about the caviar potatoes in my group chat. Every single bite I took was 5 stars. We can't wait to return here for our anniversary every year. 3”

“From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds of The Lodge at Schroon Lake, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff's communication style was thorough, kind and accommodating, ensuring our vision was centered throughout the planning process. They introduced us to the entire team that would be working on our special day, and were incredibly flexible in meeting our requests, like adding gender neutral bathroom signs to make our LGBTQ guests feel welcome. “If you want your wedding to be a weekend long affair filled with love, laughter, and beautiful scenery, look no further than Stickney Farms! From the start Jen was very easy to work with, letting us tour the venue multiple times and always responding promptly to emails or texts before, during, and after the wedding. When a storm came through the night before our wedding, Jen went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We loved the ability for us and our guests to stay on property all weekend, which allowed us ample time to decorate, set up, and enjoy time with family and friends. The venue and property are so naturally beautiful and there are a million ways to make it your own. We had guests travel from near and far and all told us what a special spot we had picked. We had a perfect wedding weekend and can’t imagine having held it anywhere else! Big thanks to Jen for making our wedding dreams come true. ️”

“My husband and I got married at LBL in July 11, 2026. There are so many great things about this venue and the staff there! I'll start by saying the venue itself was so nice. We had events Thursday-Sunday and it was amazing to have a place where all of our guests could spend the weekend and have things to do. Pickleball was a huge hit and a lot of people got out to enjoy the water in between wedding events. It was also nice to be able to have everything happen in one place so no one had to drive anywhere. It really allowed us to spend as much time with our guests as possible. Moving on to the staff, literally everyone (office staff, bar staff, room staff, wait staff) that worked there was great to interact with. They were always willing to help us out. Everyone there was so relaxed throughout the weekend I was worried that there would be something that went wrong but they got so many things done without me having to think about it let alone instruct them. As a type A bride this felt magical to have happened. You can tell they are experienced in running weddings and they care about making it the weekend that you want it to be. Rebecca was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was always quick to reply to emails and supper positive and reassuring through every step. We had a large room block and the office staff was helpful in coordinating all of the details and changes that came with reservations and welcome bags. LBL was supportive of the unique things we wanted to do. For example LBL handled the delivery, storage, and prep of a live butterfly release at the ceremony. They also were willing to take our Ninja slushy machine and use it to make a signature slushy cocktail throughout the night. I can't stress enough how great LBL was to work with and would definitely recommend having your wedding here!”

“Had my wedding at mountain top on 7/31 and it was everything i could’ve ever dreamed of. All of my guests are still raving about it saying “wedding of the century” and “best wedding I’ve ever been to”. They helped me with all the planning and made the process so much easier. They have so much to offer, from gorgeous views to fun activities. The groom and groomsmen all went skeet shooting the morning of before the wedding and they had so much fun. We rented several guest houses and had the Jewel as our bridal suite and it was absolutely stunning. The staff there was very attentive and helpful. My planner, Miranda, was super helpful and my day of coordinator, Elizabeth, was absolutely amazing. She worked so hard to make the day run smoothly and everything was so perfect. Genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day and I can’t wait to go back there on our anniversaries and enjoy all that the resort has to offer. It was worth every dime”

“I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".”

“Went to a wedding here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The food was fantastic and the camp itself was so beautiful, ranging from the green fields to the incredible waterfront. The hosts set up a large tent and dance floor on the soccer field protecting us from the intermittent showers that day. The tent was lined with string lights and looked almost magical when the sun began to set. On Sunday morning we walked down to see the lake surrounded by mountains of trees. Loved this place!”

“Our whole family had a phenomenal experience at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, VT, all as part of our daughter’s wedding in early October 2024. From the day we first toured Riverside Farm in November of 2022, the gorgeous setting and friendly, deeply experienced team gave us a great feeling about RF that continued through to the wedding and to this day. From late 2022 onward, RF gave us excellent advice and support on every aspect of planning the wedding – the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, all of the wedding day festivities, the afterparty and the Sunday departure brunch. We did not have – and did not need – a separate wedding planner. Our RF coordinator, Kaycee Bushee, was a terrific resource throughout. First, she greeted every question or concern with the same calm, pleasant, and constructive approach – never “too busy” to listen carefully and help. Second, when the wedding arrived, Kaycee oversaw everything with a clear idea of what needed to happen and when, plus a gentle hand to move things along invisibly. Her very capable team members were all well-trained and on the same page. RF requires the use of a small group of core vendors, a practice we came to value immensely. RF works exclusively with Vermont Farms Catering, plus one transportation provider and another company that sets up each event. Far from limiting, we found it a great way to create alignment with these critical groups. They went above and beyond to make sure that RF’s clients (and RF itself) were thrilled. A special note on Vermont Farms Catering, owned/operated by Katie Stiles (our primary contact) and Chef Kevin Lasko (Katie’s husband). They are remarkable, having transitioned to Vermont from the intensive Manhattan restaurant scene. Over the years, VFC has established close relationships with all of the best farmers, ranchers and producers within a broad radius. We knew instantly – when we had a “test” tasting in early 2024 – that our guests would be extremely well-served. For help finding other vendors, Kaycee was always there with a range of recommendations and “color” on photographers, florists, linen providers, etc. She knows of, has color on, or has worked directly with most wedding-related vendors throughout Vermont and New England – many of whom have handled events at RF. Beyond these outstanding individuals at RF, Riverside Farm itself is extraordinary. Whether in full sun or any other conditions, Riverside Farm itself truly shines. It is a spectacular physical place – vast and yet intimate at the same time due to the open sightlines. It offers multiple separate venues that together could comfortably host a great wedding in any weather conditions. Plus, RF provides accommodations for the wedding party at RF, and for family/close friends at a lovely 15-room inn, Amee Farm Lodge, just a mile away and under common ownership with RF. As to issues or negatives, we truly didn’t have any. Nothing occurred that caused any level of frustration or concern. It was amazingly smooth given the number of guests (170) and the numerous events from mid-Friday through the departure brunch on Sunday. As noted, this was not by accident or just good luck. Kaycee and the RF team are outstanding both as to assisting in the planning and in the detailed, smooth and crisp execution of the final plan. As is clear from the above, our entire family wholeheartedly and without reservation recommends Riverside Farm for your family’s wedding.”

“Our experience at the Essex was 10/10. Our event coordinator was Cindy, who did a phenomenal job guiding us and our wedding planner through the choices to be made and the lay of the land! She was so communicative and was great about answering any and all of my questions (and I had a lot). The banquet and catering team spearheaded by Sydney was fabulous as well; I have celiac disease and it was very important to me that I have a dedicated gluten-free wedding, and Cindy and Sydney made my dreams come true while also navigating our guests varied allergies and dietary restrictions! The food was phenomenal and several of our guests commented on the high quality of the meals. We and our guests also loved that the inn was connected to everything we needed on the property all weekend - we never had to leave the building (which was ideal, given we got married in early March!). The inn is so cozy and cute, and the spa is a wonderful and relaxing bonus. My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about our entire (flawless!) wedding weekend at the Essex, from the rehearsal dinner to the farewell brunch. Photo by Anne Mientka Photography”

The venue itself is stunning with its antique charm and spacious ceremony and reception areas, all kept immaculate. “Bridget and Thomas at Farmhouse Flowers were absolutely amazing to work with as the venue, florist, bartenders, and day-of coordinators for our wedding in October 2025. We live in Chicago and planned our wedding from afar, so it was incredible to work with a team that made everything so simple for us. They worked with our other vendors, gave great suggestions for how to structure everything, and really made the whole weekend amazing. Bridget's vision on the florals was incredible; we wanted a colorful wedding, and the flowers really tied everything together. The venue was perfect: it delivered the intimate, Vermont feel we wanted (including a cow named Happy that just so happened to be staying at the farm that weekend) but was also easy to get to and eased any fears about making last-minute changes due to inclement weather. AND Bridget and Thomas cleaned up after the party which made such a difference in our ability to enjoy ourselves. We had an incredible experience and highly recommend.”
