We are so sorry that the situation unfolded the way that it did, especially in the presence of the client. Let’s take the 2024 situation off the table as Renee was not involved. This is Renee’s first season as solo day-of coordinator, following a year away from the Round Barn in 2024. Additionally, for context, the 2024 situation was an actual delay, influenced because salon services needed to be re-worked to meet the client’s desired outcome. We fully recognize the importance of sharing exact timelines with all vendors, especially when multiple teams must coordinate transitions in shared spaces. While our internal timeline included the fully detailed information as shared by each vendor, Renee distributed an abridged version to the vendor team, showing start times only. Her intention was to improve clarity for each vendor’s specific role. She now understands that it is critical to include end times and transition notes, particularly when responsibilities and physical spaces overlap. She has made this a non-negotiable part of her process. Although it is our goal to be flawlessly clear with timeline expectations, misunderstandings can occur. When that happens, we expect our fellow wedding professionals to address the issue discreetly, away from the presence of the client. The client was further impacted on her wedding day by your team choosing to address the issue in their presence twice, once with the imaging team and again with our coordinator. That is an unacceptable and unprofessional response, fully avoidable by stepping outside of the suite to pursue any contentious discussion with the vendor team. We take that standard very seriously.
