The Old Scott Barn truly is a venue like no other! Although the 1800s barn is fully restored, we made every effort to keep the original dairy barn features intact. The upstairs hay loft has a spectacular view of Signal Mountain which you will enjoy as you dance on the new wood floors beneath the old hay trolley above you. When you descend the wrap around stair case and enter the old milking parlor downstairs, you will see a stunning 30 foot live edge wood bar and new 20" wide pine flooring nestled in among the old cow stanchions and milking hardware. It is a unique Vermont experience and the perfect setting for your special party. The downstairs is fully winterized and available for small winter weddings and parties.

The Barn on the Pemi is a fully restored and renovated mid-1800’s barn. At over 10,000 square feet of event space, this venue is a rustic and expansive location in which to host small receptions or grand affairs. Surrounded by a secluded pastoral landscape, The Barn exudes a classic rural New England charm. Ceremonies can be held in our climate controlled barn, on our terrace or in our seasonal greenhouse. The surrounding mountains add a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The barn interior will host your cocktail hour and reception. Our on-site catering chefs will serve locally-sourced dishes that highlight the best of New England’s farms. You can also enjoy craft cocktails, local beer, and vintage wines from the two full-service bars that the venue includes. We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. The Summit Lodge is an exclusive resort. We will only host one wedding per weekend. The entire property is yours for up to 4 days and 3 nights! We can host 50 to 200 people for your ceremony and reception, and can house up to 136 in our cozy lodge. We have 10 acres of beautifully manicured grounds with tons of charm and character inside and out. Outside there are 2 beautiful saltwater pools, fire pit, life-size chess/checkers, horseshoes, corn-hole, shuffleboard, and an oversized chef’s grill that’s perfect for welcome parties and poolside barbecues. Inside we have O’Dwyer’s Poolside Bar, perfect for cocktail hour, welcome parties, and outside dining, and O’Dwyer’s Pub. Which is the ideal spot for rehearsal dinners and after parties. We boast a 15-person saltwater hot tub, billiards, darts, and a photo booth. Our live Gazebo cam can stream your ceremony in real time with sound for those who are unable to be with you on your special day.
