Waterworks is located inside of the historic Champlain Mill situated alongside the beautiful Winooski River. With a 3-season deck and River House private events space, Waterworks offers options for micro weddings, or up to 200 guests.

Our private River House offers a beautiful setting for ceremonies or receptions alike. A full bar means convenient and speedy service, while enjoying the same food and hospitality that Waterworks diners have come to know and love.

Beautiful Venue, Fun Wedding
We hosted our wedding reception at Waterworks July 2026 and it was amazing! The River House is stunning on its own with the exposed brick, green plants, and view of the river, while still offering room to add our personal touches. Ben Mervis was a huge help in coordinating the event, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious as we have come to expect from Waterworks. Shout out to our DJs Jim & Talena from Premier entertainment, Talena did a great job preparing us for the event and Jim was excellent as out DJ day of! Perfect venue for a wedding reception
We had an amazing experience working with Waterworks for our wedding dinner reception! Our group was around 25 people, so we rented out the Greenhouse for our dinner. We loved the food, the river views, and had a great experience working with Ben, who supported our event from initial inquiry to day of. :)

I was in Vermont for a wedding and I was recommended this restaurant for dinner! My server Jenna was very warm and welcoming. The venue is a very nice vibe and the food was delicious! I had the burger and the Reese's pie with ice cream. This is a 5 ⭐ place to dine!
