Q: Do you have accessible facilities?

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and back entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, an elevator, and all-gendered restrooms.

Q: What’s included in your starting rental fee?

Set up, clean up, day of coordination, prior day ceremony rehearsal with event staff, full ECHO building for 5 hours, including 2 outdoor ceremony locations to choose from.

Q: Can you hold a date for my event?

We will hold a date for fourteen days. After the fourteen days, the date will either be released or you will need to sign a contract and give us a deposit.

Q: What is the deposit required to reserve the space?

A 50% of your site rental fee is required within fourteen days after receiving your contract to confirm your reservation. This deposit is nonrefundable, but is transferable to another ECHO rental. The remaining 50% is due ten days prior to your event.

Q: Are guests able to interact with museum exhibits during our rental?

If your rental includes the “Lake Level” or “Deck Level” exhibits will remain on in that space. If your rental includes the full building, all exhibits will remain on for the duration of your rental. ECHO's Wedding Package includes all exhibits!

About this venue

ECHO is Vermont Science and Nature Museum! ECHO is within easy walking distance of both the Church Street Marketplace, and several of Burlington’s premier hotels and is just 3.7 miles from the Burlington International Airport. We can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. One of only a few venues situated on the Burlington waterfront, ECHO offers a variety of rental options including single rooms, outdoor spaces, large floor areas or the entire building. Additional facilities include state-of-the-art AV equipment, movie theater, flexible lighting, wireless access, zoned sound, and moveable furniture. ECHO’s in-house furniture including cocktail tables, 4’ & 5’ banquet tables, 150 folding chairs, silver café tables & chairs, and patio tables & chairs. Our environmentally responsible practices will ensure your event is green. ECHO’s exclusive food and beverage provider, Sugarsnap, offers exceptional service and farm fresh food, prepared with impeccable style from local farmers.

ECHO’s Dealer.com Terrace can be the perfect location for your ceremony or a cocktail hour overlooking the harbor. This covered outdoor location can seat up to 56 for a causal lakeside dinner. The 44 by 30 foot awning will keep protect your guests from sun or rain.

The best of all rooms combined

The Revision Lakeside Pavilion is Burlington’s premier waterfront event venue. Our technology wall is equipped with a large movie screen and 4 LCD displays. This hi-tech space, paired with amazing views of Lake Champlain, will impress your attendees. The Revision Lakeside Pavilion consists of Lakeside Hall, Community Room, and Omni Room, all of which have retractable walls to create one large area or separate rooms.
