About this venue
The Barn on the Pemi is a fully restored and renovated mid-1800’s barn. At over 10,000 square feet of event space, this venue is a rustic and expansive location in which to host small receptions or grand affairs. Surrounded by a secluded pastoral landscape, The Barn exudes a classic rural New England charm. Ceremonies can be held in our climate controlled barn, on our terrace or in our seasonal greenhouse. The surrounding mountains add a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The barn interior will host your cocktail hour and reception. Our on-site catering chefs will serve locally-sourced dishes that highlight the best of New England’s farms. You can also enjoy craft cocktails, local beer, and vintage wines from the two full-service bars that the venue includes. Ensuring your event goes seamlessly and you have the best experience possible, we provide unique accommodation and transportation options as well as an event specialist to work with you every step of the way.

With over 10,000 sq. ft. of event space, our barn will host small, intimate events or a more elaborate affair. Standing three stories high, The Barn houses its own catering facility, two bars as well as elevators and restrooms on each floor. The impressive interior boasts high ceilings, exposed beams, a beautiful stone fireplace, and unique and elaborate chandeliers. Tasteful and simple interiors allow you to customize with your own décor and individual style.

Just off of The Barn is our 2,400 square foot flagstone terrace. The terrace is ideal for ceremony, cocktail hour and photos. A sprawling lawn lies just beyond the terrace with stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

PERFECT wedding venue!
From the moment we reached out to The Barn on the Pemi, the team was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and genuinely friendly. Their communication style put us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, everything went off perfectly - the team is so prepared and knows exactly what they are doing. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a cozy and fun atmosphere that our guests raved about. The food was amazing, and the staff was wonderful - very attentive and focused on the details to make sure everyone had a great time. We could not recommend The Barn on the Pemi enough for your wedding day! If I were to do it all again, I'd still pick the Barn on the Pemi!
Mother of the Bride
We had a wonderful experience having our daughter’s wedding at the Barn on the Pemi in October 2025-I highly recommend the venue. The site is beautifully laid out with a variety of options for the different phases of a wedding- we had the ceremony in the greenhouse and the reception in the barn. Both just gorgeous settings. Our planner worked incredibly hard and paid attention to so many details behind the scenes- helping us keep us on track along the way with the many decisions that needed to be made. She was very responsive to our many questions. I’m very thankful for the calm vibe and patience she extended to us throughout the whole experience. I don't imagine that's always easy to pull off, especially during their busiest season! It is greatly appreciated and made a big difference for me personally in keeping me calm, present, and able to enjoy the celebration. I had a blast, along with so many others- most importantly our daughter and son-in-law, who had the wedding of their dreams!
Our dream venue!
The Barn on the Pemi was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was prompt, thorough, and professional, which set the tone for the entire process. On the day-of, the staff operated like a well-oiled machine, ensuring everything ran smoothly and allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. Our day-of planner Alexis was a delight to work with, keeping us on schedule and making sure every detail was as we wanted it. The venue itself is truly beautiful, with a warm, rustic vibe. The greenhouse is something special. The food was delicious, the transportation and lodging were convenient, and we couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. We're so grateful to the entire team!!! Thank you!!
