COHO Inn & Motor Lodge is a boutique, independently owned inn and motor lodge in the village of Weston, Vermont. We specialize in intimate weddings, elopements and relaxed wedding weekends where couples can gather with their closest friends and family all in one place. With guest rooms on site, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and the option to reserve the entire property, COHO offers a laid-back alternative to a traditional wedding venue. Couples love being able to make a full weekend of their celebration, from welcome drinks and rehearsal dinners to the wedding itself and breakfast together the next morning. We’re happy to help with food and beverage options, event setup, local vendor recommendations and the small details that make the weekend feel personal and easy.

Turn your wedding into a relaxed Vermont weekend with a private buyout of COHO Inn & Motor Lodge. The package includes all 13 guest rooms for two nights, typically Friday through Sunday, accommodating up to 26 overnight guests. A freshly prepared breakfast is included for registered overnight guests each morning. Catering, rentals, decor and event coordination are seperate.

    Wonderful experience staying at COHO Inn & Motor Lodge! from the quaint, yet modern room to the local scenery, to the delicious breakfast Lane and Ali served each morning, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay.     This spotless, comfortable, rustic COHO Inn has been extensively updated over the last few years. The owners are delightful and professional. Our room had a lovely seating area, desk, comfortable bed and pillows. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful.Outdoor seating was relaxing. Most antique Inns are on busy roads and this was true here but not at all bothersome. Highly recommend and would return!

    My wife and I had a very pleasant stay two weeks ago. The Weston area is beautiful and scenic. We found lots of things to do in nearby Manchester; the Weston Priory and Vermont Country store are nearby and well worth the time. At the inn, the breakfast was great, I really liked spending time in the lounge room (it was very comfortable and well appointed), and we enjoyed walking about the grounds. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The only thing I would change is to put a small refrigerator in the rooms. I hope to get back there soon.

    I have stayed in COHO whenever I had shows to watch at Weston Theatre. This place is a very nice place to stay when visiting Weston or other nearby towns like Ludlow. It has a beautiful yard, clean room and serves very good breakfast in their beautiful dining area. I have consistently enjoyed seeing Dianne during breakfast. She is very welcoming and just overall a very nice lady. She talks fondly of her granddaughter. This place is less than 2 miles away from Weston Theatre Company where I have watched a few shows. It is also near Weston Country Store, a beautiful store where you can get anything Vermont-y. Nearby, you cannot miss the Vermont maple creemee from Mildred’s Dairy Bar where I also get the BEST vege burger. I highly recommend COHO.

No. Because COHO holds a Vermont liquor license, outside alcohol may not be brought onto the property. COHO currently serves beer and wine. If you would like to offer spirits or cocktails at your event, you may arrange service through a properly licensed caterer or beverage provider who holds the required current licensing with the State of Vermont.
Yes, self parking for up to 20 cars is available on site (with a property buyout).
At this time, COHO does not have fully accessible guest rooms or event spaces. Our historic property includes stairs, uneven surfaces, and areas that may be difficult to navigate for guests with mobility limitations. We’re always happy to discuss the property in more detail so you can determine whether it will be a comfortable fit for you and your guests.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
Your reservation includes six hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $200 per hour.
COHO is located in Weston, Vermont. The closest airport is Rutland Southern Vermont Regional Airport (RUT), about 30 minutes away. Cape Air offers three daily flights between Rutland and Boston Logan and partners with JetBlue and other major airlines for connecting travel. Other options include Albany International (ALB), about 1 hour 45 minutes away; Burlington International (BTV), about 2 hours 20 minutes; Bradley International/Hartford (BDL), about 2½ hours; and Boston Logan (BOS), about 3 hours. A rental car is recommended for travel to and around southern Vermont.
