Where do I even begin?? The Drumore Mill is an oasis. Surrounded by farm land and nestled in a dark green wood, it feels like you’ve entered into a fairytale land. The moment my fiancé (now husband!) and I stepped onto the Drumore Mill property, we knew we needed to exchange our vows here. We got married in the Grist Mill beside the waterfall. I always wanted an indoor/outdoor wedding but hated the idea of a tent wedding. The Grist Mill building is an open air but covered area with tall wooden beams and lots of open windows to allow sunlight in. Thuy was a pleasure to work with throughout my long engagement. She answered all my questions and even showed up the day of my wedding to wash windows at the reception barn! You can tell she really cares about the Drumore Mill. Look, there are a lot of places you can get married. But the Drumore Mill is special because you can return to it. They have charming rustic houses on property you can stay in. You can host a family reunion or a smaller vow renewal ceremony or just go on an anniversary trip there. How many other couples do you know who can stay the night at the place they got married? Because that’s what my husband and I did. We spent our wedding night on property, steps away from where we exchanged vows. We got to wake up the next morning and walk the beautiful grounds of the Drumore Mill taking in all the scenery and relive the memories from the day prior. One of our guests approached my husband during the wedding and said “I want my daughters to get married here”. You can’t get a better compliment than that! So in short, if you’re looking for a one of a kind place, where nature and architecture blend together, and you can return there to reminisce with loved ones—then consider the Drumore Mill. See for yourself what beauty I’m talking about. Because I know my husband and I can’t wait to go back!

This was literally a dream! Firstly, the owner truly was so kind to us from the beginning and super responsive! They truly went above and beyond and I noticed extra decor at the wedding including on our sweetheart table (I didn’t know a sweet heart table could make me feel like a literal queen), which was really sweet and perfect! Grayson was so accommodating and the last minute added roses for my memorial chair was really special! My bridesmaids also loved Jenny and Maddy was phenomenal! Most importantly EVERYONE loved Grace (our event planner)! Even with the rain she made me feel calm and that everything was going to be perfect and it was! She fit right in with our crew and by the end of it felt like part of the family. She ensured everything went smoothly and it did, even with all the weddings she had that weekend. Everything was super organized! My guests LOVED the food, I mean they were truly raving about all the appetizers, the main course etc, everything was delicious-Mike and I didn’t eat until we got back to our suite because we were having a blast out on the dance floor! Premium Entertainment was a great recommendation, we loved them! Everyone texted us and said how much fun they had, that it was the best food they had and that it was the most fun they had at a wedding, ever! I had one guest tell me it was the safest wedding they ever went too, assuming because we had transportation as well-we went with Palmeri Transportation. The bartenders knew all of the guests drinks every time they went up there. Also, someone customized me a raspberry lemonade vodka, it was the most delicious drink I’ve ever had! The cooks, wait staff etc., truly they have the best all around! The bridal studio made us all look fabulous. I would recommend them to everybody! Lastly, Happy hour got us in for our rehearsal late lunch/early dinner last minute so thank you to Grace for recommending them! They were also amazing! We appreciate them more than you know! Our photographer Chris Gocklin Photography got some really great photos of us even in the rain! Below is just a sneak peak of them that he gave us right away! The Inn at Leola Village was a fantastic, amazing, and efficient wedding venue that exceeded our expectations. Gianna, the event coordinator, was absolutely incredible and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire wedding day. She was incredibly organized and thorough during the planning process, taking an enormous weight off our shoulders. She went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process. The venue itself was a great size and well-appointed. The areas to take photos was great and exactly what I was searching for as my background. While we wish we could have used a different vendor for the flowers, overall the value and all-inclusive package were well worth the price. We are so grateful to Gianna and the entire team at The Inn at Leola Village for making our special day run so smoothly.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful venue. From the time we set foot on property in 2022 to tour the venue, it instantly felt like home. Everyone who works here is so kind, and they always greet you with a smiling face. Communication is A with this team! I NEVER had any wedding stress related to the venue itself. They get back to you with any questions or concerns within a few days and that’s even pushing it, sometimes it was same day- this was not the case of friends of ours who got married at different venues. Becca, Alyssa, Courtney, and Sam were who we primarily dealt with and they were all fabulous, professional, and pleasant. Sam was our DIY coordinator/wedding day manager and just LOVED that we planned to have our Rottweiler in our wedding from the moment we met her at the dessert tasting and I think that really resonated with me- fellow dog moms unite! When she met him she greeted him with open arms and it was like they were long lost buddies. Sam was at The Farm when my hair and makeup artists arrived and she helped carry their things up the stairs to the suite- they were both blown away and said a venue had NEVER offered to help them like that before. They even declined the help out of courtesy and she said “ No I WANT to help you” and rushed up the stairs with them and their belongings. They felt so welcomed. I am the most meticulous person I know when it comes to decor so I bought all of my own, and met with Sam about specifics. She instantly knew what to do with all of it and it was so perfect. Courtney was our day of coordinator, and recorded our first dance for us on her phone and uploaded it to a google drive for us- as it was the only video we have of it so far while waiting for our videographer to send us it! She must have ran miles on that day to make sure the day went smoothly and it didn’t go unnoticed. She kept running drinks and apps to us during cocktail hour. We appreciated her so much. Our guests raved over the food, we used Julie with 2 Little Piggy’s. Communication with Julie was also outstanding. The drinks were always flowing and guests still cannot get over it. The dessert table provided by The Farm was to die for. We had shooters, apple dumplings, and mini cupcakes in our wedding cake flavor. I had to go back to The Farm the week after our wedding to pick up something we left behind and teared up pulling into the parking lot because I couldn’t believe the day was over and we had to say goodbye to The Farm staff. They truly become like family and there is no venue around that will give you this homey feeling. We will be back for the Christmas market! (The market is straight out of a hallmark movie- must go!). THANK YOU to the entire team at this venue- you made our day so special and we could not have asked for more!

This is a tough one to write. I’m still emotional about it. Terrain has always been a favorite place of mine, but truly, terrain EXCEEDED any expectation I had. The care, attention, organization, execution, kindness, was more than I ever could’ve hoped for. Our wedding was… perfect. We had a thunderstorm roll in right before our ceremony and the team never faltered. It was truly magical from beginning to end, and that was thanks to Tiffany and the terrain staff. If you’re looking for a one of a kind, gorgeous venue, with the most supportive staff, perfectly curated planning process, and true human kindness along the way- look NO further than terrain. 200/10 experience. For the couple, the family, and the guests. Type A bride approved. Thank you for truly everything.

As the groom, I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding than Sylvan Ridge Farm. We had an amazing time from start to finish. The scenery around the venue is absolutely breathtaking and made for incredible photos and unforgettable moments throughout the day. The two houses on the property were fantastic and really added to the experience. The larger house was perfect for the bridesmaids to stay and get ready, while the smaller house provided a private and cozy space for my wife and me to enjoy together. Having those options right on site made everything so convenient and stress-free. Our coordinator, Alyssa, was absolutely phenomenal. She kept everything running smoothly with a well-organized schedule and made sure everyone stayed on track throughout the day. Thanks to her, we were able to fully enjoy each moment without any added stress. The barn itself is stunning — the lighting and overall atmosphere created such a warm, inviting setting for our reception. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue and how beautiful everything looked. Everything about Sylvan Ridge helped make our wedding weekend truly special. I would highly recommend this venue — and Alyssa — to any couple looking for a magical and unforgettable place to celebrate.

Choosing Vault 634 for my wedding was THE best decision we made. Eric, Jared and their team made our wedding stress free, seamless and elegant. There are so many positive aspects of this venue, I'm not sure where to even begin with this review. Food: five stars. From the appetizers, to dinner to deserts our guests raved about it all. Physical site: The Vault is a historic site that has had millions of dollars put in to its renovation. The sky light, the grand staircase and the chandeliers make it eloquent and beautiful. The downstairs bar captures the historic feel of the venue and another part of the wedding our guests absolutely loved. They only host one wedding per day so you have the entire venue for just you and your guests. They are also a one-stop-shop. Linens, chairs, centerpieces, table numbers can all be provided for you which is such a big time and money saver. Customer Service: Eric, Jared and their team are absolutely amazing. Jared answered every email, question and inquiry immediately and was beyond attentive to us. The planning process was simple and streamlined thanks to all his help along the way. The day of the wedding you will have not a single thing to worry about. Eric and Jared and their team will make sure everything runs exactly the way you want it to. Any small snafu or issue will be solved and you probably won't find out there was any issue until the next day. They also helped us with setting up our ceremony space and small touches we planned with decor so no day of coordinator is needed. There is not a single negative thing I can say about this venue and Eric & Jared and their team. You simply can not go wrong with having your Wedding at Vault 643

We had the BEST experience with having our wedding here. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and there are so many great options for ceremony spaces. It is also the perfect venue for any type of weather - rain or shine there is no stressing about your wedding day. The getting ready bridal suite was so spacious and beautiful. Dawn and Brian are the nicest people and their staff was exceptional. Having the “prop shop” is such a plus - we live out of state and didn’t have to worry about buying and bringing in all of our decor and furniture because it is all there for you! This venue is so organized with the planning process and know exactly how to make your day run smoothly. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the property and landscaping was. Having their preferred vendors list was also so nice because each vendor already knew how to best set up for the space. Communication with each person at this venue is prompt and they truly want to help you make your day happen the way you want it to. I am so grateful we chose to get married at Stoltzfus and HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone considering. Best choice we made!!

We had our wedding at Hotel du Village on March 16th, 2025 and cannot share enough good things about this venue. From start to finish, the HDV team truly made planning our wedding a seamless & stress-free process. You can always tell when the team that works at a venue genuinely enjoys what they do - every single person who was working there the night of our wedding genuinely cared that my husband & I enjoyed each moment and had everything we could possibly need to make the day go smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and our guests would not stop gushing about it’s charm. We’re so happy they saw the same beauty in it that we did! The Chateau style reception was perfect for our guests, blocking dinner at the beginning of the reception & letting guests have free reign of the venue for the last two hours of the night for dessert & dancing. Our guests used the fire pit areas for roasting s’mores & smoking cigars all night! The food at our cocktail hour and dinner received rave reviews - specifically the lobster rolls & Marseille stations! The passed hors d’oeuvres were also absolutely fantastic. We loved the Mac & cheese, spring rolls, and lamb chops (to name a few). We also just wanted to call out a few MVPs on the HDV team: Alyssa, our event coordinator, was an incredible resource & always found a way to accommodate our requests. As an interior designer by trade, I was very picky with where florals, accessories and furniture were placed, but she ALWAYS found a way to make it work & never once made me feel like my requests were crazy, even if they were! Irene, our morning bridal attendant, was amazing and took great care of my husband & I the morning of the wedding. She was a vital part in the setup of the venue the morning of the wedding and our vision wouldn’t have come to life with our her guidance. Larry, the hotel manager, is the most kind & patient man we’ve ever met. He made sure all guests staying on the property were comfortable and had everything they needed at the hotel & cottage. He was also involved in so many other aspects of the day, including set up at the venue the morning of our wedding. You can tell he’s a vital part of the team at HDV and we couldn’t imagine the day going as smoothly as it had if he wasn’t there! Agnes, the afternoon/evening bridal attendant, was truly a super-hero. She seemed to be everywhere at once, had anything you could possibly need in her tool belt, and made sure you never had to ask for a single thing - she already had it taken care of! I never had to pick up my own dress train/veil as we moved around the property to take photos, or go to the bar for my own drinks. She had it taken care of before we could even think to make the request! Our wedding day was incredible because of these people & the others on staff at Hotel du Village. Three days have passed and our family & friends are STILL talking about how incredible the venue & HDV team was!

Historic Ashland was quite literally a dream! Every inch of this venue is thoughtfully curated and well-maintained throughout any season of the year. All of our photos turned out incredible with so many beautiful backdrops throughout the property just waiting to be photographed. When choosing a wedding venue we had many different wants on our list and Historic Ashland fit them all: separate bridal and groomsmen getting ready areas, barn space for reception, outdoor ceremony, and more. However what we really focused on as our 2 non-negotiables: great photo opportunities and a good backup plan for if it rained. With so many options for ceremony locations on site, we were covered for our dream outdoor wedding and a gorgeous indoor one too, if it came to that. Some added bonuses along the way that we did not expect: how easy the team made it to execute our dream and leave no stone unturned during the wedding planning process. Throughout the year as I was planning decor and my vision for the day, it was incredibly helpful that the team was so active on social media. I got to see so many different examples of what past couples had done to customize the space for their wedding. It made it that much easier to narrow down my options and truly envision how it would look. Something I would have never known I needed was the built-in day of coordinator every Ashland couple gets for their wedding. We had the wonderful Amanda as our DOC and I was blown away by how she was able to set up all of our decor exactly how I wanted it. And then furthermore, when it came to packing up at the end of the night, it was done so quickly, with nothing left behind. Not to mention, the entire day went so smoothly, and I felt confident in what we were doing every step of the way. I really can't recommend this venue enough. 10/10

We had our reception at the Elmwood Park Zoo in April 2024 and it was the best venue we could have asked for. We’re both huge animal lovers and knew we needed a space to accommodate a very large family, so EPZ was a great fit. We worked with Becky for most of the process and received amazing service! The events team made sure everything was taken care of before, during, and after the reception. As for the guests, our families LOVED the zoo and so many of them made sure to tell us how much fun they had! Additionally, they were very LGBTQ friendly! If we had to do it all over again, we’d definitely pick EPZ over and over.

Definitely choose The Atrium for a small event. Bridget was wonderful to all of us by keeping things flowing throughout the event. The servers were very attentive while serving and removing finished plates. Robert was the best. He has a friendly personality and enjoys serving his guests cocktails especially “espresso martinis”! Nicole is a very competent event manager. She brought our thoughts together while planning this fun event. From showing us brunch selections to choosing our menu, I felt well taken care of. The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

Magnolia was a dream for me and my husband!! I was very discouraged by the venue search and had almost given up when I stumbled across Magnolia. It looked so gorgeous I was afraid the pictures were misleading me. But while the outside doesn’t look like much when you drive up, inside it’s a fairytale world. We were in love from the moment we saw it, and all my guests were stunned. The space felt rustic and secluded—like you’re out in the woods somewhere with the sound of the river all around you. And Magnolia has built up the property with an elegance that makes it even more dreamlike. And I can’t say enough about the venue coordinator, Cheyenne! She literally worked miracles to make it possible for us to have our wedding there. This woman is sharp and incredibly knowledgeable and organized. Her recommendations and tips saved me so much. She’s super honest and upfront about things, and she does her best to take the stress and pressure of the wedding off of you. She also is very caring. Throughout the entire process, she was attentive, and I felt like she cared about me as a person, not just another client. On the day-of, she created space for my husband and I in the bustle and went out of her way to help with whatever we, or the wedding party, needed. It never felt like having a stranger around, and I knew I could trust her to handle any mishap. I highly, highly recommend her wedding planning services even if you don’t end up using the venue itself. Some tips: I personally think Magnolia works better for smaller, more intimate weddings. We had about 60 people, which filled the space nicely, but I have trouble imagining how the max amount of people (120) would fit on the dance floor. I wouldn’t recommend having a lot of vendors and tech either. I think it would clash with the space. We also really enjoyed renting out cabins for our wedding party. The rooms are nice, and it allowed us to soak in the weekend. Another great thing: the property is the perfect size for getting cool photos—small enough to walk but large enough to find lots of lovely locations. Definitely take advantage of that! I highly recommend Magnolia. I don’t know how our wedding could have been more beautiful or peaceful, and I thank all the staff at Magnolia for caring for us.
