About this venue

The Stone Mill 1792 is a historic and intimate wedding and events venue, nestled on 10 acres in the wooded valleys of York County, PA. The venue consists of the original 18th-century mill building, scenic ceremony lawns, and a 3200 square-foot event tent with permanent Brazilian Walnut deck flooring. Over the past decade, “The Mill” has been lovingly restored to provide a perfect blend of 18th-century details, natural beauty and modern amenities, while tucked away in a park-like setting.

Versatile and elegant!

Our extra-large event tent is an extremely versatile space, and is perfectly suited for any event! The permanent deck flooring is great for dancing, and the clear sidewalls and gables let in amazing natural light and views of our landscaped grounds. It is also fully heated, so you stay comfortable, no matter the temperature! This space perfect for ceremonies and receptions, and can be decorated to match any style of decor!

Gorgeous Wedding Venue!
The Stone Mill 1792 is absolutely beautiful! The mill house has a rustic old world charm and the reception area is tucked among the trees, making it feel like its own little world! Being a vendor here was a very pleasant experience! The staff were all kind, helpful, and so easy to work with. The day of coordinators kept everything flowing wonderfully! I look forward to working at The Stone Mill 1792 as often as possible in the future! I highly recommend them if you are looking for the perfect place to hold your reception!

Experience with The Stone Mill 1792
We had our wedding at The Stone Mill 1792 and it was perfect. From start to finish, the team stayed in touch with us and sent all the information we needed ahead of time, which made planning so much easier. On our wedding day, they had everything set up beautifully and kept things running smooth from beginning to end. The space itself is gorgeous and the pricing is very reasonable, so you get a lot of value for your money. The staff is genuinely nice and cares about making your day special. We highly recommend The Stone Mill 1792 to anyone looking for a budget-friendly venue that doesn't cut corners on quality or service.

A Hidden Gem
From the start Matthew and the Stone Mill team were a pleasure to work with. They were always ready to help with any questions we had for our wedding. We wanted to chose a venue that would help us with the planning, decor, and day of coordination and The Stone Mill provided all of that for us. On the day of the wedding the team really came together to make the day perfect! They made sure all of the details were exactly how we wanted them to be.

A Beautiful Venue
The Stone Mill 1792 was the perfect place for our wedding. Their staff was extremely helpful and did a fantastic job setting up general decorations, which made it easier for us to provide the centerpieces or other finishing touches. Additionally, their facility makes for a convenient place to get ready ahead of the ceremony, which enabled us to find a few moments of relaxation in a crazy schedule. The ceremony spot is beautiful, with a small pond and fountain as backdrop, and the close proximity of the tent for the reception made everything easy and seamless. I highly recommend this venue for anybody who wants a wedding immersed in nature, with the convenience of AC and lighting

A Beautiful, Perfect Spring Wedding
From our first email to the day we said "I do," The Stone Mill 1792 team was there for us at every step. They responded quickly to our questions and were always transparent about what we could do at the venue, which made planning so much easier. The space itself is stunning – we loved having the mill for getting ready, the gorgeous ceremony spot with the pond backdrop, and that spacious tent with real flooring where we could really celebrate. Their in-house decor helped us bring our vision to life without the stress of figuring it all out ourselves. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful everything was, and we have to give a huge shout-out to the Two Rivers Chamber Music string quartet – they were incredible. The Stone Mill 1792 team's kindness and thoughtfulness made our day feel special in ways we didn't expect, and we'd recommend them to any couple in a heartbeat.
