About this venue

The Stone Mill 1792 is a historic and intimate wedding and events venue, nestled on 10 acres in the wooded valleys of York County, PA. The venue consists of the original 18th-century mill building, scenic ceremony lawns, and a 3200 square-foot event tent with permanent Brazilian Walnut deck flooring. Over the past decade, “The Mill” has been lovingly restored to provide a perfect blend of 18th-century details, natural beauty and modern amenities, while tucked away in a park-like setting.

Our extra-large event tent is an extremely versatile space, and is perfectly suited for any event! The permanent deck flooring is great for dancing, and the clear sidewalls and gables let in amazing natural light and views of our landscaped grounds. It is also fully heated, so you stay comfortable, no matter the temperature! This space perfect for ceremonies and receptions, and can be decorated to match any style of decor!

Incredible Wedding Venue
The venue is beautiful and unique and the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. They offer lots of help and decor and made sure everything ran smoothly on our wedding day. The outdoor space for the ceremony is out of a fairytale, the enclosed tent for the reception allowed us to have our whole wedding outside and keep everyone comfortable, and the Stone Mill building and Getting Ready Suites made the morning of our wedding just as magical as the wedding itself. It is beautiful and serene and I would recommend to any and everyone!

Amazing Day and Amazing People
The Stone Mill 1792 was incredible. The staff were incredibly responsive, kind, helpful and attentive. We are in disbelief how easy our big day was. The venue is stunning for any event, big or small. Planning my wedding out of state was difficult already, but the staff at TSM were beyond amazing. A lot of venues in the area are VERY expensive for what you receive day of. At TSM, I feel that for the price, I received more than I could have expected. Expectations were exceeded and beyond, and I would recommend this location to anybody. One of my favorite parts of the venue is the reception area. I’ve been to weddings that are in barns or other older buildings. These locations are crammed, difficult to navigate, have awkward seating, and very limited views. At TSM, their reception area is huge and roomy. I loved that I could look out and see all of my friends and family without having a wooden beam in my way. There was enough space for guests to get food, dance, talk, and be comfortable in the space without stepping on toes and dresses.

The Perfect Venue!
The Stone Mill 1792 was the perfect setting for our intimate wedding day. From our first conversation, the team was quick to respond, genuinely nice, and always ready to help us figure things out. The venue itself is absolutely picturesque—every corner is beautiful and made our photos look incredible. They showed up for us whenever we needed something, whether it was big or small, and made sure everything went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we'd recommend The Stone Mill 1792 to any couple looking for a special place to say their vows.

An Amazing Venue for an Amazing Day
If you're looking for a beautiful venue and an amazing team to help bring your vision into reality then you'll want to check out The Stone Mill 1792. It was an instant no-brainer for the perfect venue for our wedding. We were going for a "Colonial Williamsburg" style and venue fit the aesthetic perfectly (I mean, it was built in 1792, after all) and Matthew, Michael and the team were absolutely amazing to work with. They handled every small detail from decor to scheduling everything the day of the wedding and made what we expected to be a stressful event into the easiest, most stress-free process. Everything was so amazing that my wife and I are discussing a divorce just so we can get remarried there again. Thank you, The Stone Mill 1792 team, for making our special day one to always remember!

Only one complaint
My only real complaint is that we can't get married there again without getting a divorce! From our first viewing of The Stone Mill 1792, we knew we'd found something special. We literally signed the same day. The team was helpful and responsive every step of the way, offering genuine insights that helped us plan a day that felt true to who we are. They didn't bat an eyeless when we came up with our absurd little plans. Walking in on our wedding day, we received the warmest welcome I've ever gotten from a venue, and it set the perfect tone for everything that followed. The space itself is hard to describe because it somehow feels both grand and cozy at the same time, with enchanting nooks tucked throughout that made our celebration feel intimate despite the size. Every detail felt atmospheric and intentional, creating an experience our guests are still talking about.
