About this venue

The Stone Mill 1792 is a historic and intimate wedding and events venue, nestled on 10 acres in the wooded valleys of York County, PA. The venue consists of the original 18th-century mill building, scenic ceremony lawns, and a 3200 square-foot event tent with permanent Brazilian Walnut deck flooring. Over the past decade, “The Mill” has been lovingly restored to provide a perfect blend of 18th-century details, natural beauty and modern amenities, while tucked away in a park-like setting.

Our extra-large event tent is an extremely versatile space, and is perfectly suited for any event! The permanent deck flooring is great for dancing, and the clear sidewalls and gables let in amazing natural light and views of our landscaped grounds. It is also fully heated, so you stay comfortable, no matter the temperature! This space perfect for ceremonies and receptions, and can be decorated to match any style of decor!

The Stone Mill 1792 was Truly a Dream Come True
Our entire experience with The Stone Mill 1792 was absolutely amazing! From the moment we found the venue, we knew it was exactly what we had been looking for. The property is gorgeous and provided the perfect setting for the outdoor, tented wedding we had envisioned. And thankfully the weather worked with us the whole weekend!! Michael and Matthew were wonderful to work with from the very beginning. One of the things that truly sealed the deal for us was learning that The Stone Mill could also provide live music through their own music chamber, Two Rivers Chamber Music. My husband, Joell, had always wanted a string quartet for our ceremony, so when we found out that we could have our dream venue AND easily incorporate something that was so important to him, it honestly felt like fate! Another huge perk is the amount of décor The Stone Mill has available in-house. You could absolutely utilize their collection throughout your wedding, or, like we did, use it to supplement your own décor. I had a very specific vision and brought a lot of our decorations myself, but their collection was incredibly helpful for filling in those last few gaps. Our coordination team, Allyson and Brandy, was also fantastic. They were always prompt with communication, especially during those last few crazy weeks leading up to the wedding, and were consistently accommodating and helpful. We also held our rehearsal dinner at the venue the Friday before our wedding, and the entire team was so patient with us and incredibly helpful as we worked through setting up the meticulously organized Uhaul of decor bins we had traveled there with. As the bride and very much the mastermind behind all of our décor setups, I definitely had moments during setup where I felt like a chicken with my head cut off, with everyone calling my name and asking where things needed to go! Brandy was so reassuring and kept reminding me that anything we didn't get to or any last-minute details I was worried about would be completely taken care of by their team on the wedding day. And she was absolutely right. Their team was so detailed and thorough that once our wedding day arrived, I genuinely didn't think about the setup once. Having our wedding at The Stone Mill 1792 was truly a dream come true. The venue is beautifully maintained, the team is wonderful, and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to get married. Anyone dreaming of a beautiful outdoor wedding with a tented reception should absolutely consider reaching out to The Stone Mill 1792. We are so grateful to the entire team for helping make our wedding everything we hoped it would be!

Beautiful Location, Attentive Staff
From our first conversation with the team at The Stone Mill 1792, we knew we had found the right venue for our wedding day. They communicated with us in such a straightforward and genuine way that planning felt easy and stress-free, even when we were juggling details. What really impressed us was how they stayed on top of the weather forecast and had solid backup plans ready in case it rained, which gave us total peace of mind. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—it feels like stepping into a fairytale with its historic charm and beautiful grounds. Every moment of our wedding looked like it came straight out of a storybook, and we couldn't have asked for a better setting to say our vows. We're so grateful to the entire team for making our day feel magical.

The Stone Mill 1792 is an absolutely lovely venue. From the staff to the grounds, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married at. From our very meeting to our wedding day, TSM1792 team was so communicative, friendly, and supportive. Michael, Matthew, and Allyson were such lovely people to work with. The day of staff was amazing too, always communicating the plans and details and asking me what I wanted/needed. Their landscaping crew is also top notch - the flowers and trees and grass were all in such amazing condition. Our guests are still talking about what a lovely venue it was. Thank you TSM1792 for making our wedding day the best and being part of our journey.

Absolutely gorgeous venue and so worth the price! I had such an amazing wedding all thanks to The Stone Mill 1792! They’re very accommodating and they have so many decor options to choose from which made my wedding planning soo much easier.

Gorgeous Wedding Venue!
The Stone Mill 1792 is absolutely beautiful! The mill house has a rustic old world charm and the reception area is tucked among the trees, making it feel like its own little world! Being a vendor here was a very pleasant experience! The staff were all kind, helpful, and so easy to work with. The day of coordinators kept everything flowing wonderfully! I look forward to working at The Stone Mill 1792 as often as possible in the future! I highly recommend them if you are looking for the perfect place to hold your reception!
