About this venue
This 19th-century country estate boasts a rich history and an exciting future. With painstaking care, Conroy Catering restored the mansion’s interiors to reflect the Victorian splendor of the past. The newly constructed contemporary yet warm conservatory opens to expansive cocktail terraces, a pergola & carriage house for wedding ceremonies, and thirteen acres of magnificent perennial gardens.

Outdoor Ceremony Site
The Knowlton Mansion’s outdoor ceremony site is located on the west lawns of the perfectly landscaped 13 acres of the mansions grounds. The bride processes through a pathway nestled amongst English boxwoods and seasonal flowers, until she reaches the pergola.

Conservatory
An indoor ceremony can be accommodated on the upper level of our Conservatory, under the expansive glass skylights with either a procession leading towards our French Doors or to the elevated level beneath the staircase.

The Perfect Venue!
I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Knowlton Mansion and Conroy Catering. From my first tour through our actual wedding day, they were incredible. Knowlton itself is SO beautiful. It was important to me to find a venue that felt like an experience, where guests could wander around, explore different spaces, go outside, and take everything in rather than spending the entire night in one ballroom. Knowlton was exactly that. The mansion and grounds have so much character that you really don't need a ton of decor because the venue speaks for itself. We had our ceremony outside, moved indoors afterward, had the fire pits going outside, and added the secret wine cellar that opened during the reception, which was SUCH a fun surprise. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how much they loved all the different spaces. I also loved how much freedom we had to make the wedding feel like US. Knowlton provides so many amazing vendors, but we brought in some of our own as well, and they embraced everything. We literally had a tattoo artist tattooing guests during the reception and, at one point, a full-blown mosh pit to Rage Against the Machine haha, while still having all the traditional wedding moments we wanted. Nothing ever felt cookie-cutter or like we had to fit into their idea of what a wedding should be. They just moved with us and helped make it happen. Conroy Catering was also wonderful. Our guests RAVED about the hors d'oeuvres, and every single one we chose was a hit. They also accommodated two signature cocktails that were a little more involved than their standard offerings, and they turned out amazing. And the STAFF!! Cara gave me my initial tour and immediately made me feel so welcome. Eileen worked with me throughout basically the entire year of planning and was an absolute lifesaver. She was informative, organized, kept track of all my notes, and made the entire process so much easier. Then Rebecca was our coordinator on the actual wedding day and was AMAZING. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I could hand everything over to her and actually enjoy my wedding. All three were exceptionally kind, organized, and made me feel genuinely special and cared for. Our bridal attendant and waitstaff were incredible too, even making sure I actually got to eat some of our hors d'oeuvres throughout the night! Finally, the VALUE is incredible. Weddings get unbelievably expensive so quickly, and Knowlton's packages include so much for a very reasonable price. Between the gorgeous venue, catering, open bar, staff, coordination, and everything else included, we were able to have a wedding that felt grand and beautiful without the enormous price tag I saw at so many other venues. Our wedding was beautiful, unique, fun, personal, and completely US, and Knowlton embraced every bit of it. Our guests loved it, WE loved it, and I would choose Knowlton Mansion again in a heartbeat!!

The best venue!
From the moment we started planning with The Knowlton Mansion, their team made everything simple and straightforward. We were able to coordinate our entire wedding from out of state without any stress, which felt like a huge weight off our shoulders. One thing that really stood out was how they brought appetizers for us right after the ceremony so my husband and I could focus on greeting our guests instead of worrying about logistics. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with so much character, and their attention to detail made our day feel truly special. Their communication was quick and efficient throughout the whole process, which made planning feel easy even from a distance. We can't recommend The Knowlton Mansion enough to couples looking for a beautiful space with a team that actually cares about making your day perfect.

The Second Easiest Yes :)
The Knowlton Mansion is absolutely stunning and was the perfect venue for our wedding! It has a vintage and romantic feel that was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. What really makes this place special though is the people, the team at Conroy Catering not only makes incredible food (we got so many compliments on the food after the fact), but helps you plan so much of the day and are so involved on your wedding day to make sure everything goes smoothly. We had the perfect day, and that is largely thanks to everyone at Conroy Catering!

The venue itself is stunning—we loved it instantly with its vintage charm and historic character. Dani, the coordinator, was organized and professional throughout the entire process, and her kindness made us feel taken care of. The space manages to feel both spacious and intimate at the same time, and everything was immaculate on our wedding day. The staff delivered great service from start to finish, and we couldn't have asked for a better backdrop for our celebration. GORGEOUS and well-done
From our first conversation with The Knowlton Mansion, we knew we'd found our venue. The team was responsive and helpful at every step, answering our questions without hesitation and making the whole planning process feel easy. Their day-of coordinator kept everything running like clockwork, and we could actually enjoy our celebration instead of worrying about logistics. The mansion itself is stunning, with different spaces that worked perfectly for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. What really impressed us was how upfront they were about pricing and how affordable the package was with catering and bar included. Our guests haven't stopped raving about the beautiful venue and how well everything flowed throughout the night.
