We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. We only needed to tour one venue, and it was Blenheim. After our initial walkthrough of the space, we were convinced that this was everything that we could want in a venue and then some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. The Blenheim family were incredibly detail-oriented, clear, and responsive during the planning process. They guided us through multiple virtual meetings, providing extensive planning documents to ensure our day would run smoothly. As a person that doesn't love planning, they supported me and offered suggestions- making sure that the day would flow effortlessly. Their natural, open, and beautifully rustic venue was the ideal location for our special celebration; the venue itself reflected us as a couple and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the venue and the attentive and personable staff at Blenheim. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the amazing appetizers during cocktail hour. We had many last-minute changes and the Blenheim team did not miss a beat in executing our every wish. We are so grateful to have found Blenheim Hill Farm and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect in every way!

We had an absolutely perfect day at Cricket Creek. We hosted our ceremony up in the pasture and our cocktail hour down and around the barn. The possibilities were endless and we were able to shape the space and use it exactly how we wanted. Working with Jessi made that easy because she was always there to give us advice and make sure all our bases were covered and we weren’t missing anything important. We decided to go to an indoor location for our reception because we knew it would get cold at night in late October, but if we were there at a warmer time, the Barn would also be an amazing spot for a reception. Our guests could not get over the views and the cows! Thank you, Cricket Creek!

This was my first and only venue I toured and I fell in love. We were looking for something very modern and our style and this was exactly that! I was so in love with the large floor to ceiling windows and at night it was absolutely stunning! The outside patio with the fire pits were such a beautiful touch and everyone was loving them all night! The food & drinks were delicious and I have to mention how amazing the staff was to us.. truly wouldn’t have gotten through the night without them! Highly recommend!!

I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.

From an officiant's perspective, I was thoroughly pleased with the experience at The Grand Summit Hotel. I always pay attention to how their staff works together and from start to finish the team demonstrated professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone's experience was good (from vendors to guests and everyone in between). All the thoughtful extra touches stood out. Small unseen gestures speak volumes about the team's attentiveness and commitment to making the day feel effortless. My husband and I were married at TurnPark in what I would consider a dream setting. The towering artwork, the gorgeous water filled quarry, and the amphitheater made out of local marble made a gorgeous backdrop for our big day. The folks at TurnPark made it super easy and beautiful, helping out with the sound system, seating, and many other details that made it so perfect. We would highly recommend TurnPark as a wedding venue (and a fabulous place to visit in general).

Can’t say enough about the Kenmore Ballroom and the people who run it! My daughter was a covid bride and this venue was still under construction when she was first engaged and because we had to postpone her wedding, we were lucky to secure a date at the brand-new Kenmore Ballroom. Katie and Nate went above and beyond in every way – we were one of their largest guest counts that the venue had yet hosted and they didn’t miss a step! We enjoyed working with them as they were available for our many questions during the planning process. On the day - we were awed seeing our daughter and son-in-law enjoying their first dance together at the top of the beautifully restored grand staircase under the spectacular light from the floor to ceiling windows and sparkling chandelier. They even coordinated our after party turning the onsite bar area into a Irish pub! They have so much experience and unique ideas for planning any type of event I highly recommend the Kenmore Ballroom and Katie and Nate! Not to mention the benefit of having the best wedding planner – Katie O Weddings and Events – thanks again Katie and Nate - from a grateful mother and father of the bride!

Going into planning our wedding we knew that we wanted a primarily outdoor venue that allowed us to have a full weekend event from Friday through Sunday morning. After looking at several throughout the CT, MA, and VT area and not finding one we loved, we stumbled on West Mountain Inn and immediately knew it was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful from the quintessentially New England bed and breakfast, to the flower garden behind the ceremony site, to the incredible mountains in the background. The venue in late summer was simply stunning. While we were lucky enough to have perfect weather allowing for a fully outdoor experience (welcome party, ceremony & cocktail hour, and farewell breakfast were all outside!) West Mountain offered enough indoor locations that if there had been inclement weather, we wouldn’t be confined to only one space, which was a concern we had with other venues we toured. All the food we had during our weekend was incredible, from the buffet dinner and hors d’oeuvres, the breakfasts Saturday and Sunday morning, and the woodfired oven pizzas during our welcome party (guests absolutely loved the scallion street corn pie!!). On top of the inn, property, and food being amazing, West Mountain Inn is such an excellent wedding venue because of Amie, the inn owner and coordinator. Amie clearly loves helping people make their dream weddings come true. She serves as the day of coordinator and point of contact for your vendors, and makes it incredibly easy and straightforward to make all of the decisions you need to make the day come true. Amie was incredibly responsive, professional, patient, kind, and accommodating to our questions and asks. She and the Head Chef helped us plan a menu that catered to multiple types of allergies, as well as working with the bar to do our own off menu signature cocktails and a mocktail for the reception. Amie’s two incredibly well behaved golden retrievers, Milo and Pepper, also joined and were a hit with kids and adults alike! Something unadvertised but amazing about West Mountain was the collection of decorations and items from previous weddings (think chalkboards, table numbers, card boxes, table seating displays, etc.) that Amie has available for her couples to use in their own weddings which reduced our DIY requirements to basically nothing. The only thing we rented was drapes in the barn but other than that everything was already provided. One of the best parts of having our wedding at West Mountain Inn is that it’s now a special, meaningful place that we’re able to return to over the coming years. West Mountain Inn was absolutely the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey and we would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Birch Hill is phenomenal!! From the very beginning of the process, Serena was by our side, always answering any questions we had, making sure everything was clear, and making sure we had everything OUR way. The day of, she exceeded my expectations; she was AMAZING - literally running around to make sure our day went smoothly (which it did). Literally nothing went wrong other than running 15-20 minutes behind schedule which wasn’t their fault! Food was amazing, and everyone thought so, we heard the bartender was awesome as well as the drinks he made, and the venue itself is just beautiful. We had our ceremony at the pond pergola and our reception in the Colombia Ballroom - both absolutely stunning and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day, thanks to Birch Hill & Serena and even Kelsey who helped Serena the day of! We can’t thank Birch Hill enough for everything they did for us and our big day and we are so glad we trusted them; would recommend them 1000 times over!

The venue itself is stunning, with a scenic, historic, and peaceful setting that made our special day feel truly magical. It was perfect to have the ceremony outside because the setting is so beautiful. However, we had a rain plan that would have been equally lovely. We had a mobile bar that pulled up right outside the barn, and our guests simply walked outside to get a drink. Nancy and team put up a tent right next to the bar, with lounge chairs and bar tables. We had the barn doors open the entire evening, which provided a nice breeze and allowed our guests to mingle outside and still feel part of the gathering. They were there throughout the wedding day and helped with all the vendors, which made it much easier for us. I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else - they are so accommodating and gracious, and we are so grateful to have had our wedding in such a special place.

The event coordinator was very quick to respond to my emails and was very gracious and made a few accommodations for us. It can be pricey to get married here because they will charge you for all of the little add ons. We had such an amazing weekend at Camp Lenox - cannot thank the Rich, Leslie, and the rest of the staff enough. They made the weekend about as stress-free as we could have hoped - even despite the tornado warning on Saturday! We held our wedding at Retreat Farm and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, this venue exceeded our expectations in every way. Our weekend began with a field day celebration the day before the wedding. Farmhouse Square was perfect for this, and the staff went above and beyond to help us organize food stations and arrange picnic tables. The staff made themselves available for the entire day and were friendly to our guests which helped set the tone for the entire weekend. Working with Samantha, the venue coordinator, made the planning process so much easier. She was incredibly communicative and patiently answered about a million questions from us. We were one of their Retreat Farm’s first weddings, so there were a few minor administrative hiccups along the way, but I have complete confidence these will be smoothed out for future couples. Samantha’s responsiveness and helpfulness were invaluable. On our wedding day, rain was in the forecast which was very stressful for us leading up to the ceremony which was slated to be held outdoors. We prepared to hold the ceremony inside the barn, which would have been beautiful in its own right, but then, the rain ended up clearing at the last second. Thankfully, the incredible staff had already set up the chairs and arch and managed to move everything back outside within half an hour (literally wiping down every single chair as fast as they could). We ended up with the most breathtaking outdoor ceremony as the clouds parted and the sun literally shone down on us. It was pure magic, and the staff's quick work made it possible. Additionally, the venue's beautiful outdoor spaces provided awesome backdrops for photos so we’re glad we were able to take advantage of them. One of the most unique and memorable aspects of Retreat Farm is the farm animals. We surprised our guests with a surprise donkey ring bearer (that the barn manager, Felipe, took the time to practice walking the aisle with), and during cocktail hour, the open barn allowed guests to interact closely with all the animals. This was hands-down one of the highlights that our guests are still talking about—the pictures that we saw everyone take were priceless. Every single person who works at Retreat Farm was exceptionally kind and professional. From the bartenders who handled the bar service beautifully (and even accommodated our requests for specific drinks on the menu) to the staff directing guests and everyone in between—the team made us feel so well taken care of. It's worth noting that this is more of a DIY venue where you bring your own decorations and coordinate most vendors. We loved this because it allowed us to truly make the wedding our own and put our personal stamp on every detail but recognize that this may not be for everyone. We highly recommend Retreat Farm for couples looking for a unique, beautiful, and flexible venue with character, charm, and the most wonderful staff (and also animals!)

My husband and I got married at the Northampton Country Club in the fall of 2023. We had 110 people and everyone loved the crisp clean atmosphere of the venue. People had plenty of space to move about and we had a good size dance floor as well! My mother in-law was the one who made the suggestion to get married here as she had attended a wedding the previous year and loved it. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the hill in front of the gazebo and the setting was perfect. The trees had almost fully turned and the backdrop looked amazing in our photos. I loved that I could choose from a list of vendors and not be pressured into a preferred caterer. There was a shuttle from our hotel, which made this location very accessible for out of town guests. I highly recommend this location, you get so much value for what they offer. The bar staff was very accommodating and made the night fun for our guests!

Weddings can be incredibly stressful and sometimes not go as you planned, but I can guarantee The Edison Downtown staff will make your special day the best wedding or event you’ve ever had. Jena, our wedding coordinator and Bylinda, the owner, truly went above and beyond any of my expectations for my wedding day. The attention to care to not only myself but all family members and party members was impeccable. The organization and leadership day of from Jena highly attributes to the perfection and smoothness of our wedding. She was there late the night before and there bright and early the day of to make sure everything we wanted was done correctly and done timely. She made sure to keep to our schedule and even if there were any bumps in our timeline, she handed it for us. She paid incredible attention to detail to both our wedding and after party, as we had a completely different themed event also at the venue slightly after our wedding ended. I’m sure this made it more difficult than usual for the staff, but Jena handled the organization of all of our decor and organization of the staff and people involved like a seasoned professional. The food from Season’s Catering was divine and some of the best food we can recall having at a wedding or other event in a very, very long time. Our guests cannot stop talking about how absolutely delicious all of the food was, how gorgeous and unique the venue was, and how it was one of the best weddings they have attended. From the bartender to the servers, everyone was so sweet and seemed so excited to be working our wedding day. I didn’t know exactly what to expect planning my first wedding, but was so thankful for having Bylinda and having Jena from the venue to handle everything. Any event at The Edison Downtown is worth every penny. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the effort they put into our special day.

We got married at Saratoga National Golf Club on April 12th, and it was truly the most incredible experience from start to finish. If you’re considering this venue—book it. You will be in the absolute best hands. Saratoga National partners with Mazzone Hospitality (or vice versa!), and their team is second to none. Our sales coordinator, Ellie, was a total gem. She was responsive, supportive, and never nickel-and-dimed us on small changes or additions. Planning from out of town can be stressful, but she made everything easy and even helped us find smart ways to cut costs without sacrificing the experience. The day before the wedding, our event manager, J’Leen, carefully set up all of our candles and décor exactly as we envisioned. She was professional, incredibly hardworking, and so thoughtful. I can’t say enough about what a great manager she is—she truly has everything down to a science. On the day of the wedding, the team executed everything flawlessly. They were kind to our guests, cleared plates quickly, and remained accessible throughout the event. After the celebration, they packed up all our items with care so we could easily pick them up the next morning. Now, let’s talk about the food—our guests are STILL raving about it! Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. As someone who works in Human Resources and plans corporate events multiple times a year, I’ve worked with many venues—and I can confidently say this team is the best I’ve ever encountered. Before the wire event center opened up, I remember seeing posts on Facebook about an event venue opening up in Coxsackie. I remember being instantly intrigued and put it on my dream wedding list. Then the space opened and I saw some pics of the completed space and again put it on my dream wedding list. Then started to see pictures of weddings at the wire and again put it on my dream wedding list. Fast forward to when I got engaged and consulted my dream wedding list and saw I had this place listed 3 times. It seemed pretty clear this was where our wedding had to be. I am so glad we went with the wire. The space is absolutely beautiful - whether you are indoors or outdoors. The cocktail space versus the reception space give you different feels but are equally beautiful. Not to mention it’s super convenient to have the venue space right next to your hotel, and the ability to have your rehearsal dinner and after party at the tavern next door. You never have to leave the area! The bridal suite for getting ready is gorgeous and roomy and perfect for your hair and make up artists. It is a little bit of a splurge for the venue fee but honestly was worth it for the access you have within the space. My only real critique is it could be a little difficult to get in communication with the team at times cause how busy they’d be with wedding season. While it is very understandable, it also seemed to take them significantly longer to respond than any other wedding vendor we used. I think it hopefully is just growing pains as they had some changes in the overall team over the course of our planning. In the end, even if responses took some time, everything we needed and wanted was handled so it in no way makes us second guess our decision. We loved the space, our day was perfect and we are so glad we went with the wire!
