“Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“During my first consultation with Abby, I came with a lot of ideas- flowers, candles, colors, examples, and non examples. I had a vision but I had no idea how to make everything flow together. My wedding was in November, but I wanted bright colors and an emphasis on hot pink. Abby really listened to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions and didn’t try to steer my ideas into a more classic November autumnal design. As the months went on, I messaged Abby with some edits based on the arrangements she was posting on her instagram. I couldn’t imagine how Abby was going to take all of my ideas and make them cohesive. But of course, Abby did not disappoint. When my husband and I were taken into the reception space to see the tablescapes set up with the flowers and candles we were amazed. Abby’s artistry and attention to detail encapsulated every element of my initial vision seamlessly. The floral arrangements were breathtaking and more beautiful than I could have hoped for. They were the perfect balance of fall vibes and fun, bright, punchy colors. While we were in the reception space, Abby noticed that my husband’s boutonniere had lost some of the flowers due to hugging so many people. “Isabelle is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient; a true artist with their flowers :') I emailed Isabelle to ask about DIY floral arrangements for our June 2025 wedding. We had such a fun time thinking up ways to engage my partner and I's family and friends, and Isabelle came up with the idea for a flower arranging party in their beautiful shop. The day before our wedding, we had our family try their hand at floral design. They had so many questions (ie, "Am I doing this right?" "What kind of flower is THIS?!"), and Isabelle greeted them all with understanding and care. AND there was handmade herbal tea and strong air conditioning on a 95-degree day. “I truly cannot say enough good things about Kya & Floria Design Studio! I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted for florals for our wedding, but I knew I wanted it to be unique and feel like me. I found Kya through an inquiry to another florist - I was in search of a LGBTQ-friendly vendor, preferably a woman as we were hoping for all female vendors. Floria is a queer, black, women owned business which supports LGBTQ & BIPOC communities -- what more could you ask for?! From the minute I met Kya I knew she was perfect for our wedding. She immediately understood my style, the vision, and the fact that we did not want conventional. I shared some inspo photos with Kya, and asked for a range of textures, mediums, & colors. Her proposal was spot on from the first draft, and we even decided to add candles & table decor to our package - which I am SO grateful for because they were stunning. Kya was so kind, easy to communicate with and accommodating of a couple of last minute switch ups. When I saw my bouquet and arrived at the venue to see our arrangements, I couldn't help but cry, I was so overwhelmed with happiness. Kya delivered something that was beyond my wildest dreams - the way she captured every element I wanted SO perfectly while also staying within our budget & honoring our personal style was truly special. I would recommend Kya HIGHLY for any event or floral service - our guests were in love with the florals and I can guarantee I'll be staring at the photos for years to come. Local Lore (formerly VDL Brothers) began as a farm with a single grower dreaming of providing locally grown, beautiful flowers. Now, we are bringing the produce of that farm to couples who are looking for fresh florals designed with a romantic, whimsical touch. We love to create soft, flowing bouquets, nature inspired arches, creative statement pieces and installations. We give each of our couples a high level of attention to detail, and dedicate our time to two events per month.

“My wedding was last month and I am so BEYOND happy I chose VDL Brothers as my florist. Sonja is not only extremely talented but also attentive, reliable, supportive, and consistently went above and beyond to make my wedding flowers and decor special and personalized. My bouquet made me cry (happy tears) when I saw it. As did the boutonnières, wedding party flowers, and decor. Each bridesmaid bouquet, boutonniere and bud vase was unique and intricately done. She really listens to what you want and makes it a reality. During the early planning process she made a personalized event plan complete with my and her own inspiration pics, and kept it updated whenever I needed to make a change. Perhaps the highlight was the Bud Vase wall that she constructed from scratch for my seating chart. It was beyond what you see on Instagram and Pinterest. She also provided a chuppah which was more sturdy and beautiful than any I found elsewhere, and was hands on with managing the set up and take down of all the decor. I was worried about “spending so much on flowers” but honestly the flowers/decor/experience working with her was easily one of my favorite parts of my wedding, and worth every penny and then some. Her pricing is a steal for what you get with her.”
