“We had a tropical themed wedding and used Flower Moxie for tropical flowers and greenery: bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, ceremony arch flowers. I wish there were more tropical related videos on their DIY Academy, but I did love working with my assigned florist and the help desk was quick in their response. For those who are getting married at the same location that the flowers are being delivered (my parents' home), I wish we would have done all of the floral arrangements the day before instead of 2 days before. And our spray roses came a day later and were a little sad looking. But overall, we were very happy with the service and highly recommend to others!”

She had also worked at our venue before (Full Moon Resort), which made the process much simpler. I really appreciated her consideration for our budget, and she had lots of creative ideas for ways to save money while staying true to the vision. Heather was also very open to our DIY ideas, and happily worked with us to incorporate our handmade items (table numbers, signage, etc). Our Hindu ceremony required a large platform and mandap, and Heather was the only vendor we could find in the Catskills who was able to provide one. “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“My wedding was last month and I am so BEYOND happy I chose VDL Brothers as my florist. Sonja is not only extremely talented but also attentive, reliable, supportive, and consistently went above and beyond to make my wedding flowers and decor special and personalized. My bouquet made me cry (happy tears) when I saw it. As did the boutonnières, wedding party flowers, and decor. Each bridesmaid bouquet, boutonniere and bud vase was unique and intricately done. She really listens to what you want and makes it a reality. During the early planning process she made a personalized event plan complete with my and her own inspiration pics, and kept it updated whenever I needed to make a change. Perhaps the highlight was the Bud Vase wall that she constructed from scratch for my seating chart. It was beyond what you see on Instagram and Pinterest. She also provided a chuppah which was more sturdy and beautiful than any I found elsewhere, and was hands on with managing the set up and take down of all the decor. I was worried about “spending so much on flowers” but honestly the flowers/decor/experience working with her was easily one of my favorite parts of my wedding, and worth every penny and then some. Her pricing is a steal for what you get with her.”
