“From start to finish, working with The Stately Rose team was a pleasure. From my initial conversation with Johanna about my vision for my look, I could tell this was the right salon for me and my girls. Her careful attention to detail and genuine care for me as a potential client impressed me. Throughout the process, Yoli, the bridal coordinator, responded to all of my questions promptly and cheerfully. Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. In the salon, Marielly and Janelle created a positive, fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. They were the ultimate hype-women all morning and they really set the tone for the day moving forward. It was especially meaningful to me how much care our team took in accommodating health and safety concerns among my party; requests we made to keep those with compromised immune systems or allergies comfortable and safe were made without hesitation. We all left the salon to start the rest of the busy and stressful day feeling like our best selves. I could not have asked for a better glam team and I’d recommend The Stately Rose to any bride-to-be without hesitation!”

“A different wedding makeup artist recommended me to Danny and specifically said he is the only person she likes to do her own makeup. That was an immediate good sign for me. When I first reached out to him his kindness and sincerity were the first things I noticed. He was super professional and thorough but also very easy to talk to. I ended up doing two makeup and hair trials and felt really good about my look after the second one. Lia was the hair stylist who Danny recommended and works with frequently. They were both very understanding and just wanted me to feel my best. They were right on time the day of the wedding, had such a calming presence and everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. One of my bridesmaids who didn’t originally sign up for makeup asked to have hers done because of how much she loved everyone else’s and because we had enough time he was able to do it. After the wedding everyone said how well my makeup and hair lasted and you can tell in the photos as well! Danny and Lia were great listeners, super fun, very approachable and easy to talk to in the process of figuring out what I liked and didn’t like and just really skilled at their craft. Their pricing was also very reasonable and you could tell their passion and love for what they do was their drive. Danny was great at communicating and really organized as well. “One of the best decisions I made for my wedding day was signing JW Artistry! I’m so pleased I had Erica, Jessica, and Marissa do my hair and make up as well as my five bridesmaids, mom, and godmother. I’m not one that wears makeup often and my skin is very sensitive, but Jessica did an incredible job making sure I was comfortable, the makeup was not heavy, and the look was exactly what I was going for. She was also extremely meticulous and accommodating during my trial! Jessica is clearly very talented, and knows exactly what she’s doing. I loved my makeup for the wedding day! It looked so natural, but enhanced my features perfectly. Now in terms of Janna and Angela, I am so grateful to both of them and how organized and responsible they are with running their business. From keeping our flower girl busy and making sure she doesn’t touch the tools to helping my mom find her lost phone to staying till the very last minute to make sure I didn’t need any additional touchups to walk me through every step of her doing my hair to literally spending several minutes with a single individual hair and making sure it wasn’t in the way…I could not be more grateful. My jaw literally dropped when she showed me the picture of the back of my hairstyle. She also saved the day when I got a floral piece for my mother that had a white ribbon that needed to be concealed and Erica masterfully covered it up so that mom did end up wearing it on the day. My girls loved their hair and makeup too. The artists did fantastic with mature skin. And guests were stunned with how gorgeous everyone looked. I know a thing or two about makeup and Jessica is very much in the know about certain products, techniques, and trendy looks. From hydrogrip primers to ABH palettes, she knows her stuff. Also, one of my bridesmaids is a hair dresser and she was also very impressed. In fact, one bridesmaid had really short hair and Marissa nailed it somehow! Working with the length and creating a gorgeous look. She also pulled out that Fenty bronzer because she ain’t playinnn. “I got married on 10/18/2025 and hired Beauty Boston for hair and makeup. I found Beauty Boston on The Knot and was drawn in by the volume of positive reviews for the company. I utilized the online inquiry form to reach out, and Marissa responded right away with pricing information and availability. I appreciated that I was able to do a trial before committing to booking anything and loved that the company offered both makeup and hair options. I was assigned Andi as a make up artist and Jordan as a hair stylist. I had my trial with Andi, and she did a fantastic job. She listened to what I truly wanted and was very adaptable when I requested small tweaks. She kept track of all the products she used and all of my requests really well because she replicated the look perfectly 9 months later on my wedding day. While I had a lifelong friend do my own hair for my wedding, Jordan did hair for my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. All of their styles came out beautiful and lasted the whole night (my sister even wore her look to brunch the next day and it still looked amazing)! During the planning process, Marissa was extremely helpful in coordinating timelines and pricing. I loved that the artists were able to come on site to the hotel where we got ready and they even brought their own chairs for us to use. On the wedding day, both Andi and Jordan were extremely punctual and kind. They really both did a fantastic job and kept us on schedule. We even had time at the end for two bridesmaids who had not requested make up to get lashes put on for a small fee at the last second. “The ladies at Elle Beauty were friendly and personable, and we enjoyed working with them. However, after my trial I should have pursued someone different for my hair! The makeup was fantastic and Mikayla was so kind, but the hair was not as polished as we expected. I'm attaching my MIL's photo, with her hair and makeup immediately after the stylists left, so you can make your own judgements- that being said, they did ask multiple times if we were comfortable with the look, but we felt a time-crunch and accepted what it was. I've also attached my photo immediately after the session- again, I loved the makeup but I wish my hair was set to last the whole night. Both ladies were flexible when we changed the location last minute, making a long drive to support us at the venue, and we so appreciate that! I would suggest Elle Beauty for those in the immediate Kingston area of NY.”

“Writing reviews was the last things I had on my big ol wedding to-do list. I mostly put it off because I truly did not know how to put into words how perfect most of my vendors were. Jessica was no short of perfection. She was incredibly easy to schedule with, chat with about what I wanted, and offered up advice on all things beauty. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. I’d seen it on her Instagram page and was so impressed and oh man did she pull it off. I felt so natural (I’m not someone who usually wears anything but moisturizer and mascara) and to not have to wear foundation on my wedding day was such a relief. I felt so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day - and so did my bridesmaids. Jessica is worth. Every. Penny. And I highly recommend her partner in crime Allison who made scheduling so easy and honestly brought such a bff vibe to the wedding day it was amazing. 5 stars , 10/10, A you name it!”
