Wendy and the team at Reno-Tahoe Weddings and Events were just amazing. I was fairly organized going in, but once we hit the 12-month mark, things started to speed up quickly. Eventually, I reached out to Wendy and after meeting with her for our initial 90 minute meeting, I calmed down. She got us organized, took over dealing with all the vendors, directed everyone, and let me simply ENJOY being a Bride! (Even my mom noticed.) The wedding rehearsal was actually fun and Wendy told us where to go and what to do. All I had to do on my Wedding Day was relax, get my hair and makeup done, drink a glass of champagne, and enjoy. It was really fun and I loved every minute.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Emily for my bridal shower, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! The theme was “Tea with the Bride to Be,” and Emily brought it to life beautifully. From the charming balloons and arch backdrop to the marquee lights on the lawn there were many places to take cute photos! The games were fun and interactive with beautiful prizes to be won! The make-your-own tea station was such a unique touch and guests were able to make a jar and bring it home to enjoy! The delicious charcuterie board and appetizers were wonderful to enjoy upon arriving followed by the official high tea service featuring homemade tea sandwiches, scones and desserts. Every detailed was thoughtfully planned and executed. Every guest raved about how beautiful everything was, and I couldn’t have been happier with how smoothly the day went. If you’re looking for a coordinator who pays attention to every little detail and makes your vision come to life, Emily is the one! Highly recommend!

We had the immense pleasure of working with Desert Southwest to coordinate our recent family reunion and we are very pleased with the overall experience. We did month-of coordination, and as someone who had never planned a wedding before (and is definitely more Type B), having her guidance was absolutely invaluable. From the moment we started working together, she knew every detail, every timeline, every little thing I never even would have thought of. She walked me through everything so calmly and confidently, which made the entire process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. On the wedding day itself, she and her team kept everything running seamlessly. Any little thing I forgot or didn’t have time to think about, they handled. Our flowers were delivered right before we left for the ceremony, and I didn’t have to stress for even a second because she coordinated directly with all of our vendors and kept track of everything. At the end of the night, her team handled teardown, packed everything up carefully, made sure items got into the correct cars, and dropped things off where they needed to go. It truly made all the difference in allowing us, our families, and our friends to actually enjoy the day instead of worrying about logistics. Working with Dana and her team at Thyme & Details was such a relief from start to finish. We hired Thyme & Details late in the game for our wedding- about 4 months out when we realized we couldn't pull off the wedding we wanted by ourselves. Her vendor recommendations are top notch and her relationships with vendors around the city made the booking processes much quicker and often more affordable. What impressed us most was how organized everything was behind the scenes. Dana & team solved every problem so quickly that we didn't even realize anything had gone wrong. Her depth of experience & knowledge really shows- from timelines to vendor negotiation. On our wedding day, Dana & her team stayed calm and joyful the entire time, which made us feel comfortable and excited instead of stressed. Kalyna was an absolute lifesaver for our wedding on November 2, 2019! With over 200 guests, I was worried about how everything would come together, but she made the entire day run seamlessly. One thing we are especially grateful for was her incredible network of preferred vendors. Just a week before the wedding, we found out our original caterer didn’t have the right permit for our venue, and we were devastated. But Kalyna stepped in immediately and had a fantastic replacement lined up—who not only delivered amazing food but also kept us way under budget. Her ability to handle last-minute crises with ease is truly unmatched. I’m not sure I can express in words how grateful I am for Cassandra, but I’ll try. We hired Cassandra to plan our July 2025 wedding at Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. Aesthetically: I am someone who considers myself somewhat of a creative, but not incredibly organized, and certainly not a planner. For my wedding I had a vision for what some things would look like, and I wanted to design a few things myself (stationery/paper goods/signage), and I had a general aesthetic vision for the wedding but I couldn’t begin to imagine how to plan a whole event. Cassandra met me exactly where I was, rolling with my ideas and filling them out with all the rest of the details perfectly. She has beautiful taste (photos of her past weddings is what initially drew me to her) and all of her ideas were excellent; I had a lot of fun in our planning meetings where she would show me several options for various tablescape components and we could talk through them and choose together. Visually, our wedding was a dream. Organizationally: We did a “partial planning” package, which meant that I was more in charge of hiring vendors in the year leading up to the wedding, and then she took over coordination 6 weeks out. This is the time where things start to get stressful (lots of emails coming in, friends and family all have questions, etc), so it was amazing to have Cass on my team, fielding all the incoming emails and knowing the answer to every single vendor question, and jumping in to help coordinate things for our welcome party (which I had originally said I didn’t need help with). Once the big day arrived, Cassandra was AMAZING. She was so on top of everything. We had a bit of a weather scare (looked like thunderstorms might roll in in the afternoon; our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all planned to be outside). It seemed like I should be stressed about this, but Cassandra assured me she had a plan A, B, C, and D, and all her staff prepared to do whatever needed to be done at any moment, so I felt shockingly unworried about the whole thing. (It did rain during our first look (the hour leading up to guest arrival), and was raining when guests arrived; she had had her staff bring a bunch of stuff inside, directed the bar staff to serve welcome drinks inside, and thankfully the rain cleared out quickly and they dried off the furniture moved everything back out to the lawn got everything back on track very quickly.) A bunch of our guests had interactions with Cassandra and couldn’t wait to tell me “your planner seems so great, I really like her!” I was nervous going into wedding planning because I had had many friends have frustrating experiences with wedding planners, but my experience could not have been better. It was a true collaboration, a fun time, and we are forever grateful to Cassandra for making it happen.

We loved our regular meetings and were genuinely sad when the process was over—not just because our wedding day had come to an end, but because it meant we wouldn't see her every other week. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, and it was absolutely flawless. Regan handled any hiccups like a seasoned pro, and we received countless compliments from vendors and guests alike on how smoothly everything ran. She was so accommodating of our trickier requests, such as having our candy bar shipped from NYC to LA, and she was with us every step of the way—from site visits and tastings to the rehearsal and early on the wedding day. Her communication was impeccable, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Regan was the last person to leave, making sure we went home with all our cards, attire, leftover food, and even some flowers. To know Jodi is to love Jodi. Before I personally KNEW Jodi, I loved watching her serve our hometown community from afar. For a little back story, I have my degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Parks Management with an emphasis in Event Management. Prior to COVID I was an events/wedding coordinator and loved every second of it! I still work in hospitality, but I always day dream about going back into the event industry. My (now husband) and I had planned every detail of our Tulum, Mexico destination wedding, but I would lie awake in bed at night stressing about not having a day of coordinator that I knew would protect our vision and joy. To bump into Jodi in the buffet line at a community event at the peak of this worry was fate. We connected quickly and made plans to meet to discuss the possibility of her traveling to Tulum with us. With only a couple months away from the event, I am beyond grateful that Jodi trusted me enough to jump aboard and agree to travel with us! Just like that I was able to sleep again and re-found joy in the planning process! In the months leading up to the trip Jodi had given me access to Aisle Planner (which is like playing Sims for a wedding planning adult - adding bushes and chairs to venue maps - so fun!) and had met twice to go over logistics. Let me pause for a moment and explain something about Jodi before I continue - Jodi HAS to have a Time Turner (from Harry Potter) because this woman is MAGIC! I have never seen someone so active in their community, active in their home-family life, present in their commitments, and still responds to your emails, texts & calls quickly and with LOVE. Nobody needs to be that responsive, BUT Jodi lives and breaths LOVE, PASSION, and GENUINITY in all things. She gets excited with you, celebrates with you, cries with and for you, and always finds a moment to come dance with you. In Tulum, she was loved by all of our friends and family. Everyone commented on her beautiful communication style which was warm, clear, transparent, calm and loving. We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!

Allegra did a great job the day of our wedding. I don’t know what we would have done without her. The BIG day is always so hectic and you think you have more time and helping hands then you do. So very thankful she was there, and it wasn’t easy for her. The weather decided to take shift last minute and she was very quick and responsive for plan B. Everything went very smooth and we had a beautiful and memorable day. I definitely would recommend her!

Haley and Meagan were the BEST coordinators to work with, we had several meetings before the wedding that were very helpful in creating the day of timeline. Haley was so helpful with coordinating with family members and vendors and it removed a lot of stress off my shoulders. They both did a great job of setting up my decor, managing the ceremony procession, and taking down everything at the end of the night! The schedule changed day of and they just rolled with the punches, cant recommend enough!
