Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. We have coordinated the small, intimate family wedding and occasions all the way through to the grand galas. We strive to ensure our client’s day is one they will remember for the rest of their life. We like to think that almost every idea can become a reality and do our best to make sure our client’s vision is one that we can make come true. We approach each and every occasion as a unique opportunity to create a special day that will be remembered for years to come. We have put together events from small to large and everything in between.

Our expertise in design is what sets us apart. We make sure we thoroughly research a wide array of styles, colors, motifs, and designs to make that day yours and yours alone. We like to work with those who are on a budget as we can be incredibly creative while at the same time watching pennies. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible options for their wedding or event with our reputable and extensive vendor list. We aim to inspire you while assisting with coordination, design, décor and much, much more so you can enjoy your special day knowing with confidence you are in good hands.

We got married at Sand Harbor, Nevada, this September 2025, and Adam and Kaia, our wedding coordinators, were an absolute dream! From the moment we met, it was clear they knew the ins and outs of the venue like the back of their hands, which was extremely important to us as we had booked the venue sight unseen. It was especially critical for us to know the outdoor aspects which they had tons of experience with. They were always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. They always maintained a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process. On the big day, they managed to keep everything on schedule and to make it all look so easy. Their team was everywhere at once, always available, making sure our guests were attended to, that every detail was perfect, and that we were having the best day of our lives! If you're getting married at Sand Harbor, we highly recommend them! We can't thank them enough for making our day absolutely perfect!

Desert Southwest Events and their staff was an absolute pleasure to work with for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration. From the initial meeting, their communication was timely, professional, and concise, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. The team's creativity, organization, and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the event, from the custom decor and floral arrangements that perfectly captured this milestone occasion, to the seamless timeline that ensured the evening flowed smoothly down to the catering that was just delicious! Their expertise was evident throughout in the creation of a truly memorable 50th anniversary party that our parents and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We had the immense pleasure of working with Desert Southwest to coordinate our recent family reunion and we are very pleased with the overall experience. From the beginning stages all the way through to the day of the reunion they provided excellent organization, clear and consistent communication and thoughtful attention to all the details large and small. Bringing together our reunion required gathering families from multiple states to bring us all together in one location for a joyous weekend! They handled every aspect with care, professionalism and attention to details. The reunion itself was beautifully put together, they handled all of the catering, the decor, equipment rental, travel arrangements and transportation to and from the venue. Our families were able to focus on reconnecting and enjoying our time together as being such a large group, we rarely have the opportunity to be together all at the same time. It was planning that took a little over a year to put together and I had the utmost faith putting the planning decisions in their capable hands. What stood out was Kaia's approachable manner, her calm affect and genuine commitment to making our event memorable and meaningful so that we created memories for years to come. We can confidently recommend Desert Southwest to anyone planning a reunion or similar private gathering. We would gladly work with them together in the future and will definitely be reconnecting with them to plan my daughter's wedding next year. Desert Southwest Events was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding planning. They took our ideas and created a beautiful wedding in my parent's backyard on the shores of North Lake Tahoe. They turned it into pure magic! They were super creative, professional and just an all around awesome company to work with. Planning was stress-free, they coordinated everything from vendors to timeline to handling all the curveballs that always seemed to crop up last minute. On our big day we were able to sit back, relax and throughly soak up the experience. No worries whatsoever!! Our guests are still complimenting our stunning style and how smooth everything went. Thanks to them over and over again and we can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a professional planner in the Lake Tahoe area. You won't regret hiring them.
