My fiance and I wanted everything for our glamorous weddings, we live in San Francisco and love coming up to the Truckee area for fun. We knew it was going to be too much planning for us, we just wanted to find someone to help us every step of the way...and we did! Wendy and Susie and the other gals were always there for us, keeping us on schedule and on budget. I wanted a very upscale wedding, showed them my Pinterest boards, and then waited until next meeting, where she showed me all my options at different price points. They were all beautiful but she helped me narrow down my vision to help fit in our budget. The wedding day went by quickly, so many people all around. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with all of that. What would I have done, told vendors where to go and what to do while I was getting my hair and makeup done? No, that would be crazy. It was a great wedding, and I'm very, very, very grateful Reno-Tahoe Weddings and Events was there to make everything run perfectly.

Emily was an absolute rockstar as our day-of wedding coordinator! Would you have expected SNOW/RAIN/HAIL for a late June Tahoe Wedding??? We weren't! Thank goodness we had Emily to help us pivot our plans without panic! From the first call we had with Emily, I felt completely at ease. She assisted us with communication with our vendors and even attended our rehearsal. She packed up all of my DIY things in her own car to make sure the venue was perfectly set up the next day. On the wedding day itself, we had every challenge thrown our way—and Emily handled it all with quick thinking and expertise. We delayed the outdoor reception, her team dried off the furniture, set up the tables and thanks to her, we were still able to have the beautiful outdoor reception I had dreamed of, and everything went off seamlessly. We got married at Sand Harbor, Nevada, this September 2025, and Adam and Kaia, our wedding coordinators, were an absolute dream! From the moment we met, it was clear they knew the ins and outs of the venue like the back of their hands, which was extremely important to us as we had booked the venue sight unseen. It was especially critical for us to know the outdoor aspects which they had tons of experience with. They were always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. They always maintained a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process. On the big day, they managed to keep everything on schedule and to make it all look so easy. Their team was everywhere at once, always available, making sure our guests were attended to, that every detail was perfect, and that we were having the best day of our lives! All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly. This woman is a godsend — detail-oriented, a hard worker, and fun, we cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment we booked Stephanie, she lifted every wedding burden, no matter how great or small, off our very stressed shoulders. We had been planning a 120-person wedding since early 2019, and when COVID-19 struck, it became apparent we would have to pivot in a major way. Still hoping for the best, we only started re-planning in earnest two months before the date (shame on us) and nearly everything changed--guest list, venue, caterer, rentals....and with every bump in the road, Stephanie was there, working nights and weekends, emailing us into the wee hours and texting with us on what should have been her days off, because she cares so much. And on days where we felt overwhelmed, she was all too happy to take the reins for a bit and continue working behind the scenes while we rested. (The surprising thing about small weddings is that they are just as much work to plan as a large wedding, even if they come in a smaller package. COVID complicated this many times over, too.) Her work ethic is second to none, and her people skills are incredible. When vendors didn’t communicate quickly enough, Stephanie made sure to follow up, oh-so-politely. When we had trouble booking one caterer, she had three different options for us in her back pocket. Stephanie gently guided us when we needed things like a makeup artist, or signs, or lighting diagrams, and she was always there to offer her help and expertise when we had questions. When things went wrong (because no matter how hard you work to get it right, there are so many moving pieces that it's inevitable), she handled them, and let us know after the fact when it wouldn’t be as stressful. She is so proactive and organized that we didn’t even know there had been last-minute rolling blackouts on the day of the wedding, until after they were over. It was a dream walking into our venue that day—Steph and I had put so much work into finding the perfect linens, table settings, and decor, and her team absolutely nailed it. She also did a great job helping us brainstorm and execute some creative social distancing and hygiene measures to keep everyone safe--a necessity when you have a 94-year-old grandmother. Not only is she an amazing planner and coordinator, but we have made a friend for life, as Stephanie is vivacious and positive, shares our love of Tahoe and the outdoors, and is so much fun to be around. Thank you, Stephanie, for helping us plan an incredible wedding in two months. We know you put in countless hours and probably lost some sleep, but it was so much sweeter than the pre-pandemic wedding we had thought we would have. Because of you, we had our dream wedding, and we are forever grateful!

Warm, organized, and enthusiastic, Regan was an essential part of our planning process. We connected over our shared Leo energy, and she truly exceeded all our expectations. With the partial planning package including design elements, Regan created stunning mood boards that wowed our vendors and answered all my Type A questions with patience and precision. She was incredibly supportive throughout, making the planning process something we genuinely looked forward to. We loved our regular meetings and were genuinely sad when the process was over—not just because our wedding day had come to an end, but because it meant we wouldn't see her every other week. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, and it was absolutely flawless. Regan handled any hiccups like a seasoned pro, and we received countless compliments from vendors and guests alike on how smoothly everything ran. She was so accommodating of our trickier requests, such as having our candy bar shipped from NYC to LA, and she was with us every step of the way—from site visits and tastings to the rehearsal and early on the wedding day. Her communication was impeccable, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Regan was the last person to leave, making sure we went home with all our cards, attire, leftover food, and even some flowers. To know Jodi is to love Jodi. Before I personally KNEW Jodi, I loved watching her serve our hometown community from afar. For a little back story, I have my degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Parks Management with an emphasis in Event Management. Prior to COVID I was an events/wedding coordinator and loved every second of it! I still work in hospitality, but I always day dream about going back into the event industry. My (now husband) and I had planned every detail of our Tulum, Mexico destination wedding, but I would lie awake in bed at night stressing about not having a day of coordinator that I knew would protect our vision and joy. To bump into Jodi in the buffet line at a community event at the peak of this worry was fate. We connected quickly and made plans to meet to discuss the possibility of her traveling to Tulum with us. With only a couple months away from the event, I am beyond grateful that Jodi trusted me enough to jump aboard and agree to travel with us! Just like that I was able to sleep again and re-found joy in the planning process! In the months leading up to the trip Jodi had given me access to Aisle Planner (which is like playing Sims for a wedding planning adult - adding bushes and chairs to venue maps - so fun!) and had met twice to go over logistics. Let me pause for a moment and explain something about Jodi before I continue - Jodi HAS to have a Time Turner (from Harry Potter) because this woman is MAGIC! I have never seen someone so active in their community, active in their home-family life, present in their commitments, and still responds to your emails, texts & calls quickly and with LOVE. Nobody needs to be that responsive, BUT Jodi lives and breaths LOVE, PASSION, and GENUINITY in all things. She gets excited with you, celebrates with you, cries with and for you, and always finds a moment to come dance with you. In Tulum, she was loved by all of our friends and family. Everyone commented on her beautiful communication style which was warm, clear, transparent, calm and loving. To direct a room of 45 adults that have been consuming mezcalitas for several hours is probably like herding cats, but Jodi guided everyone with bold and kind confidence. It was true leadership. Her tone never sounded frustrated, but I knew she was serious about protecting mine & John's timeline & joy. UGH - she literally saved my world! Our wedding was a DREAM and I am so grateful for Jodi - because of her, John and I were able to be emotionally present all day. Lisa Yenter was our wedding planner and she did the most amazing job! She helped us through the whole process, recommended wonderful vendors, and made our wedding experience so seamless. Her attention to detail and experience as a planner helped to make our day-of timeline so smooth. The day of she was SO incredibly helpful with our setup, flowers, and making our vision of the venue come to life. Shawna and Anella were also there to assist the day of our wedding and were wonderful to work with and made everything run so smoothly. We also had our bartender service through Daydream Events and they were fantastic! They premade our signature cocktails so we didn’t have a line at the bar and were very attentive to our guests. We could not recommend Daydream Events enough! They helped make our wedding truly the best day of our lives.

We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!
