“The Odyssey Venue was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very first interaction, their communication was quick, responsive, detailed, and incredibly helpful. The quality of their work and the value they provided was simply outstanding - the venue was pristine, the setup was perfect, and the overall experience was truly beautiful and accommodating. The team at The Odyssey went above and beyond to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. They had a detailed plan A and plan B in place to account for potential weather issues, and even asked us to bring in extra decor items a couple days early so they could have everything ready and waiting for our wedding coordinators. Every single staff member, especially Isabella and Kelly, were phenomenal to work with. We actually found this venue just 40 days before our wedding, as our previous venue could not accommodate our increased guest count. The Odyssey Venue made our day truly magical and one that we will never forget. If we could do it all over again, we would choose them in a heartbeat - no hesitation whatsoever!”

“I had Suzana Roman for my bridal makeup in July 2024. She not only did an AMAZING job with the makeup, but was only communicative, professional, and punctual. I had a large bridal party with 10 people (including me) wanting makeup. I also had a variety of needs (full face, airbrush, just eye makeup, just lashes, etc.). She did an amazing job making my entire party feel comfortable with their makeup choices and highlighting their wants and requests. She was also extremely punctual given the amount of women that needed makeup! Most of my bridal party wears minimal makeup and she did a great job highlighting their natural makeup looks while still making them "photo ready". All women were 100% satisfied with their makeup looks and all were pleasantly surprised with the cost. AND the makeup stayed on ALL day - through tears, the heat, and dancing! Suzanna was friendly, professional, and funny! She was a joy to work with and I recommend hiring her for your wedding or any other big event where you need makeup!”

“From the first phone call to the end of our wedding reception, The Walk Ins were incredible. Joe, the band lead, was so beyond helpful the entire way. I knew after that initial consult that this was the band I was going to hire because of how fun, friendly, helpful and energized he was. This is his passion, for sure! We met with Joe several times to finalize the timeline and music for the day, he really takes the time to make sure it goes as perfect as possible. Joe is not "just" the band lead, he knows how to run the entire show! He's basically a day of coordinator who will make sure your timeline is followed to the very minute. Seriously, he gave us so much advice and it all worked out beautifully. Now the music.... WOW. We had the full 8pc band and it. was. perfect. I've wanted a live band at my wedding since I was a child and The Walks Ins delivered! People danced ALL night. The sound was amazing. Transitions were beautiful. The Walk Ins kept the party going and weeks later we are still receiving so many compliments from guests. I don't even want to imagine what the big day would've been like without The Walk Ins. I cannot recommend them enough. Heads up -- they also play at music festivals (oak lawn fall music fest for one), restaurants, and suburban pavilions (i.e., New Lenox) so you can catch them year round!”

Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! “From the very beginning, Daniel exceeded every expectation. Daniel was extremely organized and followed up immediately after every meeting, which gave us so much confidence throughout the planning process. As an interracial couple blending of our cultures was important to us and having a bilingual DJ and MC was a non negotiable. Daniel was the perfect fit. He was very fairly priced and offered everything we were looking for, including CO2 guns, a Photobooth with an attendant, and the ability to personalize the Photobooth experience for our guests — all of which ran incredibly smoothly. It was helpful to have all of these things through one single vendor rather than multiple people to coordinate. What truly set him apart was how intentional and thoughtful he was with our music. He helped us create a detailed plan that included songs we loved, songs we didn’t want played, and the exact timing for everything. Most importantly, he seamlessly blended both of our cultures throughout the night in a way that felt natural and effortless. Our dance floor was full the entire night. He also communicated directly with our wedding planners to ensure the timeline was perfect, which allowed the day to flow without a single hiccup. “We absolutely loved our wedding experience with Chicago Winery. From day 1 they made us feel so welcome, and they were genuinely excited to host and share the day with us (shoutout to Amy!). Planning was so much easier since we did not have to go elsewhere for food or drinks (plus great wine), and the venue itself does not need a lot of extra decor to achieve the vibe you want. The location is also great for guests, since they're near lots of things to do and there are plenty of hotels within walking distance. Our guests absolutely loved the different spaces the venue provides; it was a huge plus to have the terrace remain open throughout the night, so that guests who wanted a break from dancing had another space to be in and mingle. All of the staff did an incredible job, and we received a lot of compliments on the food as well. As with any wedding day I'm sure, there were a couple little details that got missed, but only myself and my husband would have noticed. “We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Walden Chicago. From the moment we toured the venue with Maria, we knew it was the perfect place for our November 2024 wedding. A huge added perk that we quickly learned was going to make a huge difference in our wedding planning experience was the included in-house planning team. Kalila and Alyssa supported us from beginning to end. Throughout the planning process both Kalila and Alyssa were attentive and responsive. Whether they were recommending vendors, answering one of many questions, helping us sort through rehearsal dinner options, or navigating final meetings and details they were with us through every step of the way. The online planning tool you gain access to through Walden helps you stay organized and makes sure you don’t forget any detail (big or small). When we had a slight mishap with our cake the day of the wedding they had already reached out to the bakery on our behalf before the wedding was over and a partial refund for the cake was secured by the next morning. Our wedding day ran smoothly thanks to Kalila and Alyssa. I felt as though I did not have to worry about a thing. The planning team handled all communication with vendors and kept us on schedule which allowed for us both to be very present on our big day. I have to highlight the spacious bridal suite as it was the perfect place to start the day. With 9 bridesmaids, a mother of the bride and a mother of the groom you naturally worry about any space feeling cramped but the separate getting ready stations and lounge area allowed everyone to be relaxed and comfortable the morning of the wedding and throughout the wedding day. This was also the perfect space to be tucked away post ceremony to enjoy our first moments together as newlyweds. Walden had our signature drinks and the appetizers waiting for us to enjoy a quiet moment alone before heading down to join our cocktail hour. The rooftop at golden hour made for some breathtaking photos, the ceremony space lit with candles crated the perfect ambiance for our Friday evening ceremony, and the cocktail and reception spaces decorated to fit our vision made for the most memorable day. After the tasting party a few months prior to the wedding, we knew the food and drinks were going to be a stand out part of the evening. Because we were given multiple options for appetizers, salads, mains and drinks, we were really able to personalize the menus to our taste. Guests raved about our food and drinks. We were told by nearly every guest that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Walden seamlessly accommodated various guests food restrictions and allergies as well. As we look back on our wedding day, all we can do is smile. The combination of the beautiful spaces, top-notch planning, and incredible food and drinks made our special day even more memorable. We highly recommend Walden to any couple looking to make their Chicago wedding dreams come true.”

“Flowers for dreams truly made our dreams come true! We are a couple who loves florals and color and we knew we wanted to work with flowers for dreams as soon as we got engaged! Rachael, Michael, and Wesley were all so helpful throughout the process. We had told Rachael we wanted full flowers and we wanted them to match our invitations and she ran with it. The proposal she gave us was absolutely perfect, we were so excited to see them! Once we received our flowers on the day of our wedding it was everything and more than we anticipated! They were even more gorgeous than the proposal somehow! Everyone at our wedding was so impressed with the flowers and how lush and beautiful they all are. The team at flowers for dreams is such a joy to work with, I’ve used them a lot throughout the years for sending bouquets and I wouldn’t ever use anyone else. They are the best in Chicago!”

“Absolutely great experience! We had so fun working with this team. We hired two photographers & a videographer. The photos as you see came out amazing. They had great ideas for posing & shots. Our highlight clip was fantastic. They added something special that we did not expect and it was so sweet and we loved it. (Don’t want to ruin the surprise). We are so happy with the quality and hard work this team put in to helping make our wedding a dream. Communication was easy & pricing was not bad either. I knew when I looked into this company before I hired them that they were talented and I was not wrong! I highly recommend this company. Definitely would hire again!”

“Chris rocked our worlds!!! DJs can make or break a wedding, so going into planning we were pretty nervous about this decision. Our Coordinator recommended Toast & Jam and boy are we glad she did. From our first meeting with Chris we knew we were in good hands. He was able to effortlessly blend our wildly eclectic music tastes and hyper-specific cultural songs without batting an eye. He also smoothly MC'd the whole night. At least 50 of our guests have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had, so we know we are not biased!! His ability to read a crowd is unreal. The photobooth was also a huge hit. If you're considering it, DO IT, it was a perfect keepsake for guests. We cannot recommend highly enough Chris and Toast & Jam, our wedding was a certified banger.”

“Godfred was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. He captured every moment flawlessly and worked very well with our wedding planner and photographers. The 3 videos he delivered gave us the perfect variety of choices when it came to sharing footage with our guests and family. He really took the time to understand the tone of the wedding. His outfit for the wedding also matched the vibe we were going for and I really appreciated that extra touch. I hope I never have to get re-married, but if I do I'd go with Gordino Photo and Video again 100%!”
