Set on the backdrop of the oldest farm in Monee, built in 1864, we are the only cooperage in Illinois and one of only 28 in the US. We are 2023 honorees of the IL Bureau of Tourism 'Illinois Makers' award. With over 5 acres, including 2 acres of woodland, a nature trail and a scenic pond, it lends itself to a fairy tale atmosphere. The Crow and Calico Tavern is a quaint and cozy premium whiskey bar with a European feel. A biergarten provides 750 square feet of covered space and includes use of our high tables and fest tables if desired. A furnished side patio provides an ideal spot for a cigar and bourbon! Furnished alcoves along our woodline with fire pits to light the night sky and warm guests souls. We provide a furnished 20 x 30 cocktail tent and outdoor bar. The price includes 2 bartenders for 8 hours as well as an on-site cooper to provide barrel crafting demonstrations and tours at your guests leisure.
