I went to a hair and makeup trial before the wedding, and both Eva and Maria were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. They took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and made sure everything was perfect. I felt so comfortable with them, and they made the trial fun and relaxing. On the wedding day, we decided to add Natalia to the team after discussing with the owner, and it turned out to be the best decision. Having an additional stylist really helped speed up the process, and everything ran so smoothly as a result. They brought everything they needed, including lighting, and set up in no time. They were punctual, organized, and ready to get started as soon as we arrived at the venue. Throughout the morning, Eva, Maria, and Natalia were a joy to be around. They kept the whole group on time without making it feel rushed, which was such a relief with all the wedding-day chaos. They were also fun to talk to and kept the mood light, which made the getting-ready process so enjoyable. I had a bit of a rash on my shoulder that day, and I was really concerned about it. But the team worked their magic and expertly covered it – I couldn’t even tell it was there! They also added on makeup services for my mother-in-law at the last minute, which was so thoughtful. Cat completely changed that for me with her thoughtful communication leading up to the wedding, during the trial, and on the wedding day itself. The trial set clear expectations, gave us the chance to discuss my comfort levels and preferences, and allowed Cat to really get to know my features. She took meticulous notes, photos, and videos to ensure every angle and lighting were considered. On the wedding day, she refined the look slightly from the trial, and the result was even better than I imagined. For reference, I scheduled my trial the same week as the wedding, which I highly recommend—it kept details fresh for both Cat and me and minimized variables. Cat and her hairstylist arrived at our hotel suite at 7 a.m., and the morning flew by. Cat was warm, conversational, and attentive—always checking in and inviting me to share input, which made me feel part of the process. My makeup held up flawlessly through happy tears, hugs, dancing, and plenty of sweating, with just one lipstick touch-up before the ceremony. I felt radiant, confident, and—most importantly—like myself. She also styled my hair beautifully into a low bun, even teaching my sister how to place and remove my veil, and secured it so well that it stayed perfect all night despite all the movement. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cat to my family, friends, and especially Asian brides who may be hesitant about professional makeup. She made me feel truly beautiful on one of the most important days of my life, and I already look forward to booking her again for future special occasions. Go Cat! “Our wedding day & the planning leading up to it was absolutely perfect and we can't thank the Chicago Winery staff (especially our event manager Hulda!) enough for making our wedding come to life exactly as we dreamed it. The venue is gorgeous, our guests raved about the food/appetizers/cocktails/etc. and it is truly a night we will never forget. Being able to go outside to the cocktail hour terrace was also a huge plus to get people moving around and seeing new parts of the venue while the Chicago Winery staff transformed the whole space from ceremony to reception. We worked with Amy right after booking the space and she was so helpful in being a resource for us to bounce questions off of as we began planning. We utilized a lot of the preferred vendors (florist, DJ, etc.) that Chicago Winery recommended and they did not disappoint. Our event manager, Hulda, was soooooo helpful throughout the last 6 months of preparations and as our day-of manager - we could not have done it without her. She made sure the whole day was perfect and everything timeline-wise lined up exactly as we envisioned it. Can't recommend Chicago Winery enough! 1000000/10”

“We got married a week ago at Walden and I cannot say enough about how positive an experience it was! Krystle and Alyssa (our dream team of planners) were our saviors throughout the entire planning process. I hadn't planned on using a full service planner until I found out Walden included them in the venue rental and now I can't imagine planning a wedding without them! They truly made the entire process fun, even during the more stressful parts. The rest of the Walden team is equally as amazing - the catering staff delivered some of "the best food we've ever had at a wedding," as many of our guests raved to us! The bar team also ran such an efficient operation that there was rarely ever a line for drinks, so rare at a wedding! Both teams worked with us to accommodate special requests and really felt like they prioritized making our day feel unique and special. The space itself is gorgeous and requires very little extra decoration, which is a great money saver! The separate spaces for ceremony, cocktail, and reception really made each part of the evening feel special. One of my favorite parts was the getting ready room - so rare to find in a Chicago city venue! My girls and I all had the best time getting ready in the space and it made for a very relaxing morning to already be on site. I could write 1,000 more words about how amazing this venue is but trust me when I say that if you want to alleviate as much stress from planning your big day as possible - Walden is the venue for you!!”

“I honestly can’t thank Tom enough. Talking to him over the phone and email was super easy with his quick responses. Then I received my wedding video back in less then 2 months and let me tell you it was dream come true!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the lighting, what he captured and how he did it. My video is literally a short romantic movie. I highly recommend getting the drone footage, it was an awesome touch. We debated not hiring a planner/coordinator since I'm a very organized & Type-A individual anyways & RPM Events providers a coordinator, but Olivia & Abby put me to shame with ALL their organizational skills, the little details I forgot, their experiences with other brides & vendors- not to mention they're overall just kind & fun individuals! From our first meeting with Chris we knew we were in good hands. He was able to effortlessly blend our wildly eclectic music tastes and hyper-specific cultural songs without batting an eye. He also smoothly MC'd the whole night. At least 50 of our guests have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had, so we know we are not biased!! His ability to read a crowd is unreal. The photobooth was also a huge hit. If you're considering it, DO IT, it was a perfect keepsake for guests. We cannot recommend highly enough Chris and Toast & Jam, our wedding was a certified banger.”
