My husband and I were drawn to his great music taste and passion for music, but were sold on him after our consultation call— he really is as cool and passionate about music as it seems! Rian also made the entire process easy and fun! The questionnaire given before the wedding left us at ease and gave us the opportunity to share our preferences and tastes. He captured our essence with his selection of music. After hearing the brief mention of Star Wars in our vows, he threw out a Star Wars remix during the dance party without us even asking for it. That made my husband’s night! The moment I saw my father, who has NEVER danced in his life, sober dancing his heart out, I knew that everyone else also knew how great of a DJ/artist Rian was. He is able to get people involved and dancing that would typically just watch or leave at that point. I have been to many weddings over the years but have never been to any that are more FUN than the ones he’s DJ’d. He had the entirety of guests laughing and participating until the very end when the venue told us we had to wrap it up for the night. I had a guest write me a letter afterwards thanking me for having such a fun wedding reception; he is 70 yrs old and stated that this was the best wedding he’d ever been to in his entire life! Wow. That’s a huge statement. Craig deserves this praise! Craig also served as a master of ceremony for the entire day. He helped coordinate people and things so the entire wedding day was not only smooth and efficient but relatively stress free. That was a huge help/relief for this mother of the bride. “When planning our wedding, we knew we wanted the music to be epic! Music is so important to my now husband Ryan and me. We wanted a packed dance floor, but we also wanted to incorporate our Jewish culture and even play some of our psych-rock faves, plus the odd request from our parents. It was a tall request! Chad handled it like a champ and created a playlist that checked our boxes and got everyone on the dance floor! When working with Chad, it's apparent that he had an enormous knowledge of music and DJing, as well as the intricacies of events and hosting. He had so many great suggestions and understood what we wanted and more! He even incorporated our weird sense of humor into our playlist. For example, we mentioned in our wedding vows a joke about rickrolling, and he added Never Gonna Give You Up to our playlist! It was amazing! At the last minute, we found out that our venue would be less involved in the day of coordination than we had previously thought. We had recruited some cousins to help, but when we told Chad and his wife/superstar partner in crime, Gretchen, about it, Gretchen stepped up to the plate without missing a beat. She coordinated our processional and the entrance to our reception. It was amazing! Dan took the extra effort to take the 1 hour drive out to our venue to attend a planning meeting with the venue, just so he could make sure everything went extra smoothly on the day of. And it went so smoothly. I'll also mention that Jesse and Dan met with us three times before the wedding to go over music selection and schedule. They stuck to our musical preferences perfectly. And now the most important part: the ceremony and reception. They were AWESOME. Truly made our party what it was. Crazy renditions of Don't Stop Me Now by Queen and so much more. They got everyone dancing and having a good time. I should mention they even learned a special song for our reception. “Words can’t express how much we loved working with Ana & Jimmy and the entire Amp DJ Band Hybrid. My husband really wanted a band while I really wanted a DJ, Amp DJ band was the perfect mix. We found Ana & Jimmy immediately and were able to schedule a meeting with them the next day. We knew right away that they were right for us. They were extremely attentive and outgoing from the start. They answered all out of questions and addressed concerns we had. We booked them immediately because we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to work with them. We met with them several times through our 6 month planning process. They responded immediately to any questions that popped up along the way and even allowed us to make a last minute change the night before. They well exceeded our musical playlist, taking the songs we requested and tailoring the rest of the music to fit the vibe. There was a perfect mix of live songs and an awesome dj set. The amount of compliments my husband & I received about the band far exceeded anything we expected. All of our guests LOVED them (of course as did we). So many people reached out that night or the next day to say how impressed they were with Ana, Jimmy & the whole band. We also had an acoustic guitar player at our cocktail hour which was amazing. “On the day of the wedding, Dancefloor Delight truly exceeded our expectations. They arrived early to set up their equipment and made sure everything was in place before the reception began. Once the party started, the DJ kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. They played a great mix of music that appealed to guests of all ages, and seamlessly transitioned between songs to keep the party going. One of the things that really stood out to us was how the DJ took the time to get to know our preferences and incorporate them into the playlist.
