I’m the same as the lead partner in a law firm. Whether it’s me or one of the other DJ’s in my network I/we show up for you. My practice and craft is everything music and entertainment for your big day or event.

I’ve been fortunate to experience so much in the local (Seattle) music scene. My career in the music industry spans more than forty years featuring founding a record label, owning two nightclubs, managing artists, DJ’ing on radio, club and spinning cuts at wedding and private events.     The best money we could have spent!

    My wife Melissa and I cannot recommend DJ Sheila highly enough! We originally didn't budget for a DJ and planned to just run a Spotify playlist, but at the very last minute - literally one week before the wedding - we decided we needed a professional MC to keep the night moving. Booking DJ Sheila was hands-down the best decision and the best money we spent on our entire wedding. Even with the incredibly short notice, her communication was flawless. She immediately stepped in to get our must-play and "do not play" lists, completely taking the stress off our shoulders. Her pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially given the incredible level of service she provides. A few things that made her truly stand out: Flawless Ceremony & Sound: She nailed every single audio cue for our ceremony perfectly. Everything from the start—with Melissa walking down the aisle with her father—to the end—with Melissa and I walking back down the aisle as a married couple—was absolutely flawless. Plus, even though our ceremony was outdoors, her sound setup was top-tier; every single guest could clearly hear the officiant and us saying our vows. Venue Expertise: We got married at Ray's Boathouse in Ballard - DJ Sheila knows the venue inside and out. She knew exactly how to optimize the sound setup and equipment layout for the space, which made everything look and sound seamless. Pro-Level MC & Trivia Fun: She brings a wealth of experience and a great touch of humor. She kept our guests completely entertained—she even turned the buffet line into a trivia game, releasing tables one by one based on the answers. It kept the line manageable and was a massive hit with our guests! Perfect Reception Flow: She coordinated our first dance, the father/daughter dance, and the mother/son dance beautifully. She knew exactly how to gather the guests, build the moment, and make it feel special and memorable. Because of her, the entire day flowed without a single hiccup and stayed right on schedule. If you want a veteran DJ who is organized, fun, and exceptionally talented, book DJ Sheila!

    Outdoor Ceremony Disappointment

    Sheila said she had done weddings at our venue but her inability play our walk out song and lack of microphones working during the ceremony was an embarrassment. Our videographer recently notified us that he was unable to fully capture our vows due to the lack of speakers on the DJs part. The reception was good but I thought she would come back to us with our money for the outdoor ceremony going wrong and nothing. Not very professional.

    DJ Sheila E was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, she was attentive, pleasant, and incredibly helpful in understanding the vibe we wanted to create. On the day of the wedding, Sheila E delivered with a fun, exciting set that kept our guests dancing all night long. Her music selections were spot on, and the energy and good vibes she brought helped make our special day even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to get the party started!

    The best DJ for all your needs!

    Our DJ had an unexpected situation that made him no longer able to do our wedding. With only 3 months left until the big day, we were left scrambling to find another DJ. That’s when Sheila came to the rescue! She is quick to respond to phone calls/emails, and pays attention to detail. She pushed us out of our comfort zone and got everyone on the dance floor that night! Sheila was able to work her magic and loosen up everyone to have a good time. I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw my Chinese grandfather run back to the dance floor 3 separate times that night. My very serious and traditional great great uncle also joined in on the fun. My sister had her wedding last year and none of the older relatives were on the dance floor. That alone speaks volumes on how well Sheila is able to read the room and adjust the music to different audiences. We highly recommend Sheila as your wedding DJ and would book her again in a heartbeat.

I like to consult several times with the couple 2-6 months before the wedding date. I curate their music requests and playlists and make sure I have all the cues and events lined up properly.
