I am your sound, wedding flow, ambiance setting and music entertainment. I love working weddings, I get to bring joy to many and I know how much you worked to organize this one day.

Customer Service: This is a people’s business and furthermore the stakes couldn’t be higher. Wedding logistics: A wedding has a strict timeline and this is a moving people gracefully business. Sound systems: Good sound with speakers and wireless mic is important for the ceremony, dinner music and most importantly the dance party. I believe in investing in the best equipment that always delivers in all circumstances. Master of Ceremony: The mic is a powerful thing, people hear it, so it better be meaningful. Song selection: No play list, must read the crowd

    Groove on Hyde Street was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! From the first time we spoke with DJ Shawn and Darius, their communication was clear, concise and extremely helpful. It was so easy working with them. The quality of their work was impeccable - Shawn offered to play his guitar during our ceremony and it was a truly unique and special moment! The music and energy they brought to our reception was exactly what we had envisioned. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ service to make our wedding day so memorable.

    Groove on Hyde Street was the perfect DJ for our wedding! From the very first conversation, DJ Shawn was a dream to work with - his communication was beautiful, memorable, and really set the ambiance we were going for. He was professional, fun, and clearly very experienced, which made the process of planning our music and playlist so easy. During the reception, the dance floor was packed - we felt like we were dancing on the clouds - and for our first we literally were! His app was a huge help in putting together our custom playlist. Overall, DJ Shawn and Groove on Hyde Street exceeded our expectations and truly contributed to making our special day one we'll never forget.

    DJ David was exceptional. He maintained clear communication and professionalism leading up to and during our wedding reception. The music was perfect, and the extras we paid for (yard games, uplighting) made everything feel complete. I would highly recommend working with him and Groove on Hyde Street for events.

    It's refreshing as an event planner to come across a vendor that gives options, customization and ready to let the couple's personality shine. DJ service, photobooth, yard games, special effects for dancing, they have it all! Really easy to work with and willing to pivot day if anything comes up.
