    Best DJ Ever!

    GalaxyDJs stood out in a list of Seattle's top-rated event DJ services. Her delightful communication and face-to-face pre-planning made me feel relaxed and comfortable, knowing she understood our event demographic and music needs. She was truly invested in the success of our corporate event and even provided professional event lighting that enhanced our lounge. She did a superb job as an MC, following our guidelines while reading the crowd to adjust the natural flow.     A must hire DJ

    DJ Gal curated perfect party vibes, and matched our energy beat for beat. So many friends told us it was the most fun wedding dance floor they’d been on in ages (if ever)!

    Amazing DJ especially for LGBTQ Weddings

    If I could give DJ Galaxy at 10/5 for this review I would. From our first zoom call to our last dance, she truly made the whole process and our wedding so easy and special. As an LGBTQ couple we were nervous about finding vendors, but her inclusive attitude and authentic care for us left us booking her right away. She made planning our music easy and really played an integral role in making our wedding run smoothly, from MCing, leading dances, and to even helping us pose for our cake pictures. She was just as excited about our wedding as we were, and our guests had so much fun dancing at our reception. Her sound system and lighting is exceptional, and she even provided hook ups for my wife's family to be able to perform for our ceremony and reception. She made our wedding memorable to us, and to all of our guests. I cannot recommend her enough!

    Life of the party!

    If you are looking for a DJ who takes the time to get to know their clients and wants to bring your dancing vision to life, then book DJ Galaxy today! My wife and I had the best time planning our reception with Gal leading up to our wedding. We spent most of our time laughing which made working together so fun! There were so many personal touches that Gal brought to life for us during our reception. The playlist was so good that our guests have requested it since! Thank you for making our day so special! Hope to work with you again!

    Gal the Magnificent

    Gal was an incredible DJ!! We had a magical queer wedding with costumes and Gal actually dressed up as a magician, which was so great! She also went out of her way to meet with us on numerous occasions to talk through questions, music choices, organization of the day, and general set up. She helped us get our ducks in a row. She really got to know us and it showed in her music choices that kept the party and dancing going all the way to the end of the night. She even helped us set up for late night Karaoke and helpfully redirected a misguided attendee who wanted to give an impromptu speech. I highly recommend her! If you want your wedding to be fun and have someone who will be part of the fun with you, Gal is the right choice!

I love to take requests, and most venues have streaming capabilities. When we do not have streaming, I suggest sending a song request with the RSVP.
We wear a tie or jacket and blend into cocktail party attire. I do have a tuxedo for formal events. I have dressed in costumes, themes, or genres—for example, Beauty and Beast, Goth, Viking, Halloween, Surf, & superhero. I will say yes to just about anything.
I arrive 2 hours before the ceremony starts.
I have a Battery PA system for ceremonies and cocktail hour. I can amplify two live musicians, two wireless mics, and a lapel mic and run any special playlists. COCKTAIL SIZE TABLE REQUESTED NO POWER OUTLET NEEDED.
We carry the standard liability insurance that some venues require.
I choose not to charge sales tax on DJ services.
NO ADDITIONAL FEES. The only exception is travel over 50 miles.
Included is eight uplights set to amber and a color stream for dancing.
I work with a photobooth company that has standard booths as well as 360 booths.
1. All speakers have individual volume control to allow for a party zone and a quieter zone. 2. We can supply noise-dampening headphones upon request. 3. We play instrumentals during dinner to allow for easy conversations. 4. We check in with a table near the speakers so they can help me set comfortable levels. 5. We can leave all lights at amber. Another option is to do a slow color fade. I can set the pace. We never use strobe. 6. Speaker placement is essential. Lower bass near the legs for dancing and higher frequencies above the head and ears for safety.
I use Friends and family to address a group. I say, " The newlywed couple," unless asked otherwise. Pronouns and chosen names OF COURSE. I am Galaxy, after all. :) I love all the new respectful ways to bring in modern families and friends and titles that suit your unique tribes.
Yes. Karaoke is an add-on if you need words to be on the screen. If it is to sing to a track or sing along to a song, then there is no charge. I can
I like to say, "I can add it to the queue. Do you have a few more?" By asking for other choices, I can always find something. I don't have to say no, either. It's my move.
YES. Sometimes, the kids are ready to go first, and I will play a Pixar or Disney hit. Then the aunties get their favorite family songs, and I slide right into party hits and take it where it goes. It could be group dancing, Sing-a-long anthems, throwbacks, Latin, twerking...It's your family & friends. Who knows what will happen? I am here for it!
Did you say ... Salsa? YES. Bachata, Salsa, Mergengue, Cumbia ... LOVE it all. I will dance with you.
NO. MJ can be triggering to some people, and you may not even know. I can play plenty of other great music.
