    The Best Photography Experience I’ve Ever Had

    ​Alexus is a true professional, from getting your input prior to the shoot to going above and beyond your expectations. I couldn’t believe how much was done within a one-hour session, mostly because she made it so fun and relaxing. ​Being photographed by her was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a photographer. She is caring, provides excellent instructions, and is extremely gifted at what she does. ​I was highly impressed by the way she captured every moment; nothing felt forced, and everything felt natural and organic.     absolutely amazing!!!

    we cannot recomend alexus at maka studios enough!! she did our wedding in october and we just got the full gallery back and wow. literally every single photo is stunning from the very beginning she was so easy to work with and really listened to what we wanted. we told her we wanted candid emotional moments not just the typical posed stuff and she nailed it. she captured so many little things we didnt even notice on the day - my husband tearing up during the ceremony, my mom laughing with my grandma, all of it she also kept things moving on the timeline which was clutch because we were running behind (of course lol) and she somehow made it work. our families loved her too she just has this calming energy which you need on wedding day honestly if your getting married in austin and need a photographer just book her now. worth every penny and then some. we'll have these photos forever and im so grateful she was there to capture everything

Yes, I do! I offer elopement coverage that includes both photography and videography, along with private vow recordings and a cinematic film to capture your day in a meaningful way. Please note your elopement must have fewer than 10 total guests.
Yes, you will receive both. Your ceremony is filmed in full and delivered separately, so you can watch the entire moment from start to finish. In addition to that, key moments from your ceremony are thoughtfully woven into your cinematic highlight film to help tell the overall story of your day. This way, you have both a complete recording of your ceremony and a beautifully edited film that captures the emotion and essence of your wedding.
Yes, I do! I love traveling to document weddings in different locations. For travel within Texas, a fee of $50 per 50 miles applies based on distance. For destinations beyond Texas, additional travel accommodations may be required and will be discussed in advance. All travel details are always clearly outlined ahead of time so there are no surprises.
For weddings outside of Texas, I currently offer special rates as I continue to build my destination portfolio. At this time, I only require travel and accommodation to be covered, along with a $600 filming fee. You’ll still receive the full experience, including everything offered in my highest package, such as cinematic coverage, drone footage, and Super 8 film. If you’re planning a destination wedding, I’d love to connect and create something truly special for your day !
