My love for photography began as a boy when my father’s disposable cameras sparked my interest. In high school, after going through many digital cameras, I finally got my first DSLR with my mom's help. I started by capturing moments for family and friends, then moved on to corporate events and, my favorite, weddings. I understand the importance of the moment and how to capture it gracefully. I served twenty years in the Coast Guard as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer and performed a year of National service with Americorps. Upon retirement, I returned to school using my GI bill to study my lifelong hobby and passion: Art and photography. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle for over two years until their closure. I am presently painting for Gallery, along with shooting wedding corporate events.
