    Beautiful, Elegant Photos You'll Cherish Forever!

    We worked with Janelle throughout our wedding for both our Engagement and Wedding photography and were so pleased with the results! Her style is elegant, clean, and airy and, while she's so happy to execute specific photos and shots one your wish lists, she's also excellent at allowing you to move throughout the day freely and capture the small, lovely moments in between. We had a 150-person wedding at the Center for Urban Horticulture, which is a large, spread-out venue, and Janelle and her team were always where we needed them to be, capturing all of the special moments of our day! Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for weddings, portraits, and everything in between!

    The Best Decision We Made: Working with Janelle!

    I truly can’t say enough good things about working with Janelle. She went above and beyond during our engagement photo shoot, both in how she cared for us as people and in the quality of the images she delivered. I’m someone who usually ducks and hides the moment I see a camera pointed my way, but her warmth, humor, and gentle direction completely changed that for me. Her energy made me feel confident and at ease. My fiancé and I had an absolute blast the entire shoot. She made the whole experience feel like a fun date rather than a stiff photo session. She captured our personalities and connection so effortlessly. Every photo feels authentic and joyful. Her eye for detail, composition, and light is truly unmatched. You can tell she brings not just technical skill, but heart and artistry to everything she does. Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. My Traditional Wedding Package includes an engagement session that can be scheduled as soon as you have booked your wedding date!
Absolutely! A second photographer can be an amazing way to capture every angle and moment of your big day. Depending on the package you choose, a second photographer is either included or can be added.
I do! All final images will be edited personally by me for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful and your gallery is cohesive.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
You will receive a sneak peek gallery of 50-100 images within 3 days. For your final gallery turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll see your final gallery 4-6 weeks after your wedding. And I guarantee your gallery by 8 weeks.
Your gallery and/or individual images are very easy to share! Simply send the link and anyone you would like can access your gallery, download, and order prints and products.
You can expect at least 50-100 images per hour of photography time on your wedding day. I tend to take a lot of images in order to ensure I don't miss a single moment!
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In all my years as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking! In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement should you request that option.
I arrive equipped with multiple cameras, dual memory card slots with one set as a backup, multiple batteries, and memory cards. Your images are backed up first on my duplicate memory card, then uploaded to my hard drive, and saved once again to an external hard drive. That way I have your images kept safe in several different places!
I love to deliver a gallery full of every amazing moment from your wedding day. I know it can feel intimidating to step in front of the camera, so I give plenty of guidance during portrait time! During the more candid moments of the day, I like to blend in and catch the events as they unfold. This way you have a beautiful mix of images that tell the story of your special day.
Yes! Prints, wall art, and albums can be ordered within the store connected to your gallery. They will ship directly to you from a professional lab. I will design a beautiful wedding album to get you started with the design process. You can either make changes and additions yourself, or let me know what edits you would like made. And I will make sure you have the most perfect heirloom album possible.
